Special Abilities
Suggestion: While not truly incorporeal, your crudest manifestation still has the ability to haunt somewhat to draw in or frighten victims. You have the following magical abilities: Silent Image 1/day, Dancing Lights 1/day, Mage hand 3/day, Ghost sound 3/day. Includes Telepathy – you must move within 30 feet to begin telepathy, but after establishing contact you can maintain a link for 100 feet. To begin with telepathy will only be in languages you know, but by CR 4 it may truly enable you to talk with any creature with language ability. The dancing lights, if you didn’t immediately guess, will enable more favorable shadows to be cast in areas you might wish to hijack/stealth.
Void Form: Once per day you can move through a crack or space similarly unfit for travel. As you level this will become more frequent or you may become incorporeal.
Shadow Steal (Hijacking): You attempt a hijack by wholly occupying a victims shadow, forcing a DC = 10 + ½ CR + your dex bonus, this is a reflex save. In complete darkness or dim light (common in dungeons) In utter darkness or dim light you must be adjacent to the victim to attempt to hijack. In situations where light casts long shadows (ask GM or you might infer if light is coming from a single direction or single source primarily) on a wall or obstacle, you MAY instead make a hijack at his shadows terminating point within 30’ of a victim. Hijacking is a full round action, pass or fail you cannot make a 2nd hijack attempt within one minute of a previous attempt.
Gift of Tongues: Itzal is gifted in the tongues of this plane. He gains a +1 racial bonus on Bluff and Diplomacy checks, and learns one additional language every time he puts a rank in the Linguistics skill.
Traits:
Unearth Secrets You gain a +2 trait bonus on Sense Motive checks when trying to get a hunch that might reveal a target’s hidden vice, dark impulse, or any other craving it would not want publicly revealed.
Dungeon Dweller You start with one additional language chosen from the following list: Aklo, Dark Folk, Draconic, Goblin, Necril, Orc, or Undercommon. In addition, whenever you must attempt a Survival check to avoid getting lost in a dungeon, you may roll the check twice and take the better result.
Feats:
Weapon Finesse (Combat): Use Dex Bonus in place of strength for light attacks
Deceitful: You get a +2 bonus on all Bluff and Disguise skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.
