Dotting in, I'm thinking a ninja tengu

Silver Crusade

I am very definitely very interested but before I spend the time to lovingly create a character (with a back history that likely includes Wb4 goblins for no other reason that I had a hoot running it) I thought I'd check if the following disqualifies me

This is probably my favourite Paizo module and I have both run and played it several times. I could probably just about run it without the book :-). I think that I'm pretty good at keeping player and character knowledge separate but nobody is perfect and you might prefer to let new players at it anyway.

I deliberately picked an evergreen for this so that people could try this experiment without burning a scenario. So it would be petty of me to disqualify you, Gerald, Hrothdane and Codanous for playing or running it before. Still, I would also like to have many of the folks in this group have the scenario as a fresh experience. My one concern with replayers is that they might be shy about helping the module move forward, since they already know some of the mystery's secrets.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'll be weighing multiple factors. I want good roleplayers, and people who love Tengu, who will move story forward, and a somewhat balanced group. Will you be able to watch me interpret your favorite module in a very different way than you might?

If so, I'd love to have you apply.

"My name is Stalî Opereniye, but you may call me Stali One-Penny. Most find it easier to pronounce.

My parents were emigrants from the old country. They settled near Lepidstadt, where they were able to set up a small shop. Perhaps you know of the area? It is to the west of here."

---OOC---

Unchained Rogue / Swordmaster 1. Only have the WB4G scenario and the Free RPG Day Toad boon on this character.

Born in Ustalov, not far from Ledipstadt. Trained in swordplay both by his father and at Ledipstadt Academy. It was at the Academy that he learned of and first started training with the Aldori blade.

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

I love a pun. Along with that, I currently have no Tengu characters. This make ten characters of nine different races.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?

Yes.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)

Flank via Acrobatics if possible.
Sap for non-lethal if humanoid and I have a reasonable doubt.
Aldori dueling sword when I intend to kill.
Light Mace if blunt damage required.

I will add

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)

Yes.

That sounds eminently reasonable :-)

Righto, definitely will be submitting a character, probably no later than Tuesday. I'd love to see your interpretation of this module.

Would you have any problem if I reflavor a Raven Familiar as a Crow familiar? Somebody has to have a Corvid familiar :-)

Edit: Altered for clarity

Heh. I'm the one in society who has a Puffin familiar that I call "The Penguin." I admit that it's not a Penguin. It's a puffin that is named, "The Penguin."

1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about: Nope.

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?

Tchucko spent most of his young adulthood on the streets of Absalom, working as a fortune-teller, conman and occasional smuggler. After a smuggling assignment went wrong and Tchucko ended up spending a short time in jail, he decided to try a slightly less criminal path - joining the Pathfinder Society. So far he's only been on one mission (01-55 The Infernal Vault), which was a lot more dangerous and deadly than he had expected. He's still interested in being a Pathfinder, but hope that he gets beaten up less on his next mission.

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

I really enjoyed playing Tchucko in my last game (he's my second PFS character), and am hoping to pick up some good Tengu RP tips from watching my fellow bird folks in action.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?

Sure, although I'm a pretty fast and frequent poster, so hopefully it won't come up.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)

I have a Tactics section on my character sheet, but Tchucko's go to attack at this point is to use his Painful Stare on an opponent and shoot them with his crossbow.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)

I look forward to a game with frequent posts. :-)

I'll need to burn my GM star if I play this as I've already received
credit for a level 2 PC.

Applying the Student of Scroll GM boon to this PC for hopefully obvious reasons.

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?

Pre-Society Background:
The Convoluted Chronicles of the Ignominious General Chak

General Chak was born Chak Yun Chen, in the metropolis of Goka. His racial curiosity caused him to seek out tidbits of the myriad cultures all around him, especially anything in writing, even magical writing, though to this day the key to unlocking its secrets still vexes him. As a young boy, Chak came upon the greatest treasure of his childhood. A slightly moldy copy of the complete adventures of General Lin Xien Tsung, also known as "The Magpie". It is an epic tale of brazen exploits of a crime lord turned peasant hero turned brutal tyrant. (Mostly a complete collection, the final volume, one if Chak had read, where the General finally got his just desserts from a vengeful deity, might have sent him in a completely different direction, was completely ruined.) From that moment, Chak knew he would eventually become like the general in those books, complete with a pilfered piecemeal outfit that resembled the one in the slightly smudged lithograph reproduction artwork used in the pages of the tales, to a fake Fu Manchu mustache to complete the look.

Chak sought out the criminal element of the Undermarket to learn the early trade of his idol. Most of his attempts at insinuating himself into the often insular gangs were usually rebuffed with a beating, but eventually he fell in with a small Tian-Sing gang. The Eagle Talons as they called themselves were a group of ruffians known for their favoring the claw-like tekko-kagi. It was Chak's natural claw weapons and appreciation for bawdy turns of phrase that earned the acceptance of the group. However, his time in the gang however was rocky at best. Chak wanted to be the boss, but the Tien-Sing saw him more as a mascot, only slightly higher in station than a pet, alternating between patronizing approval and mocking scorn. Eventually the Eagle Talons gang disbanded, weakened by law enforcement, they were wiped out by rival gangs. As would become a pattern with him and all his illegal activities, Chak found himself able to wriggle out of trouble unscathed. He drifted from one group of alley bashers to another, but often times his delusions of grandeur led to mistakes which imperiled his gang.

Finally Chak decided he'd done more than enough to be considered a crime lord, or more likely got bored, so he'd carefully worked out a plan to get to the next stage of emulating his idol. He practically led his gang into capture so that he could be arrested and imprisoned. From his prison, he would not just labor hard, but use the to observe the disciplined order and tactical precision of the guards, just as General Lin had done in Volume 4, Watchful Magpie Nests in Bamboo. In prison, his former gang mates had figured out that Chak had them captured on purpose and planned their revenge. Chak had gotten wind of the plan by deciphering encoded messages that were being passed through the prison, and before his former partners in crime could carry out their attack, Chak escaped from prison and fled Goka for the Inner Sea.

He eventually made his way to the River Kingdoms, where he made a name for himself as a vigilante, sometimes mercenary, generally like by the people though hardly trusted by the authorities. This too, was all according to plan.

Society Adventures:
Chak joined the Pathfinder Society for two reasons. First, to meet many potential recruits for his personal army (he one day hopes to become a venture captain) second, to peruse the large collection of writings, both mundane and magical that the Society has accrued.

Chak explored the first level of the Emerald Spire before returning to Absalom, where, knowing his love of all writing, Kreighton Shane tasked him with rescuing some tomes and scrolls from a flooded archive. Remaining on Kortos, he then helped to secure the cooperation of a rogue Aspis Consortium agent.

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

Somehow I think Chak's special brand of crazy is less likely to be lost on a flock of Tengu.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?
Of course.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)

In melee: Claw/Claw/Bite with power attack.
At range: Shoot with my longbow.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)

During the week, most likely, during weekends, not so much.

Liberty's Edge

Okay, here's my submission! He's not 100% complete, but I should have the last details finished (and checked against the PFS guidelines) within the next two or three days. Mostly it's just equipment left now.

Player's forum handle: Almonihah
Character name: Takashi Tanaka
PFS# 221420-1
Race/Class(es)/Level(s): Tengu Cleric of Desna 1
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job Roll, if any: None

____

1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about:
I don't think so. He's a pretty standard cleric, save for being fairly dexterous.

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?

The young tengu gives a quick bow. "Greetings! I am Takashi Tanaka, Devotee of Desna and lover of wonders!" He looks about curiously as he speaks, taking in the new people and sights gladly.

Takashi is a pretty classic Desnan, a lover of travel and new sights. He joined the Pathfinders as a way to get out of his family's dead-end life and see the world, and thus far doesn't take it that seriously. With a bit of experience, however, he'll likely mature into an earnest warrior for liberty for the oppressed and prosperity for all. His fairly hardscrabble past predisposes him to be sympathetic to the plight of those trapped by circumstance.

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

Oh, there's so many reasons! I love how Pathfinder borrows from all kinds of mythologies but makes them its own, and the tengu are a prime example of that. Not only that, but I also enjoy playing non-human-like characters. It's fun to come up with their mannerisms (do tengu tap their beaks when they're thinking? Do they clack instead of 'tsk'ing?) and to think about how their outlook would be different.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?
Certainly, though I intend to keep that from being necessary.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)
Takashi has his starknife for a ranged attack, then he'll close in with his rapier. His few spells he reserves for difficult fights, using them before closing to help even the party's odds.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)
I won't post on Sundays, but the rest of the week I generally check the boards several times a day, so I should be able to post that frequently.

Oh, so you decided to apply after all, Almonihah! Welcome to PFS!

I really liked that you put a personality and a backstory into your character sheet. I've noticed that several others of you did, too. I've been appreciative of some of the details I've seen in your backstories on your character sheets! It's been fun reading them all.

Zach, thanks for updating Pazacku's sheet!

Just as an aside for new people who are making up characters, you do not need to put in all the mini-spoilers into your statblock as far as this GM is concerned. I'd rather see the whole stat block without them, but if you've done it already, you don't have to change it. It's a minor preference on my part.

It's okay to spoiler background / fluff / bot tactics if you wish to do so for length.

Oh, speaking of bot-tactics, I noticed that Stali One-Penny actually has dice rolls ready to go for botting on his sheet. Nice touch!

Liberty's Edge

I un-spoilered Takashi's stats and picked out his basic equipment. I may still make a few tweaks to his sheet going forward, but it's largely complete now, unless I've made a mistake.

Hello MeowGod!

Welcome to the PFS PbP community. What I would recommend if you have never done a PbP before is signing up for a run of a shorter PFS scenario as your first adventure. Have you discovered the Flaxseed Lodge yet? There are ton of GMs with signup sheets there. Most of them start games as soon as they fill.

It's much rarer to run a PFS recruitment, but I'm doing a very odd experiment here and want the right team to do it. Most PFS games take whatever characters sign up first and just go. I'm doing a single race game so that I can see what a flock of tengu can do. It'll be very weird.

Still, you're welcome to apply here as well. Have you ever played PFS live? Are you familiar with how Pathfinder Society works?

Hmm

Hey Gang --

Can you guys indulge me in an experiment? I'd like to see how you guys interact as a group, so I opened up discussion for some pre-selection RP. I wanted to give you a chance to roleplay with each other for a bit, and so that I can get a better sense of what your characters are like, both as individuals and as part of a flock.

Yes, I realize I've given you a blank canvas setting here. Feel free to improvise weather, natural features, whatever you want. I just want to see you guys RP.

Thanks so much!

Sovereign Court

Player's forum handle: pauljathome
Character name: Gallako Tenkarlyion
PFS# 16221-30
Race/Class(es)/Level(s): Tengu L1 Unsworn Shaman
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job Roll, if any: None

1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about:
As an unsworn shaman I get to chose one hex when I prepare spells. By default this will be Feral Speech. I plan to do the Dr Dolittle thing as much as you will let me :-). And I hope to make Vralk (my crow familiar) a memorable character in his own right

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?

Description:
Gallako is a very well dressed Tengu with well tailored clothing covering his breastplate, a crow perched on his shoulder. Both the Tengu and the Crow wear several small but quite glittery pieces of jewelry carefully embedded in their feathers for maximum visibility.

He is a friend to animals and a peacemaker with some healing capability.

He and his Crow familiar Vralk have a very close relationship, with Gallako thinking of Vralk almost as his younger, mischievous brother.

He is used to letting others think that they are in charge and leading from the rear, without their knowledge. He knows that he is far superior to most other Tengu but is smart enough to hide that fact.

He really likes shiny things.

Character History:
"I have a somewhat unusual background for a Tengu as I was born into a middle class merchant family in Taldor and didn't have to survive on the streets like so many of our kind.

My family has always had a very strong bond with other animals, especially with birds and even more strongly with Corvids. In fact, family legend claims that we are descended from a Crow that decided that it wanted to be a person. It has become my personal quest to determine to what extent that legend is true.

Like the rest of my family, I give lip service to whatever Gods the locals worship but my true allegiance is to the spirits, especially to the natural spirits that I suspect are my true ancestors. Joining the Pathfinder Society was an obvious first step in determining the truth of my ancestry. They have access to the greatest libraries and scholars in all of Golarion. And, of course, I also get to have immense fun going to new places, meeting new people, and hopefully getting filthy rich in the process.

The combination of my Tengu and Taldane heritages made me quite appealing to the Sovereign Court. As a non human I can potentially make inroads with races suspicious of humans, as a Taldane I am quite aware of the ways of nobles.

After my adventure finding out more of the Societies history in the basement of the Wounded Whisp and across Absalom I was Confirmed as a Pathfinder field Agent in a Confirmation Ceremony that was more dangerous than perhaps intended. This will be my first REAL adventure as a Pathfinder field agent"

Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

I've always been fascinated by the history and legends of shapeshifting trickster creatures such as Tengu and Kitsune. I am very curious to see both multiple interpretations of Tengu and to see if having a party consisting entirely of Tengu will make the characters more deep than just the stereotypes as hopefully we'll all play a little against type.

Mechanically, I'm also curious whether a group with the same limitiations can be effective. As Tengu, we will all be somewhat frail, none of us will be all that strong, etc.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?

Absolutely.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)

A mixture of daze on humanoids, shooting somebody with a crossbow, or getting into a flank position and hoping to do a bit of damage with my claws.

Vralk will tend to fly overhead keeping an eye out for new threats and dangers.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)s, etc?)

I should be able to do that with no problems. Some days there will be several hours between posts, of course. But will always check in the morning and evening and most days more often than that

It never hurts to ask, but yes, sometimes it can even save a party when everyone has the 'derp' moment (including the GM)...

Hey Gang --

If you're still looking to get in an application, I'd love to see those final applications come in today.

Thanks!

I think I'm also at my PbP limit, so I'll withdraw my interest as well. I was more interested in seeing what Hmm's games were like based on her other forum posts than I am in this experiment. So I'll just leave it to the people who are more excited about Tengus. Maybe I'll catch you some other time, have fun y'all! ;D

Mechapoet, I'm really flattered at all this interest in my games. I will have other ones, I promise. Ones that are open to the whole racial palette of PFS! This was an experiment that I wanted to do, just for fun, but I agree that I primarily want players who want to play tengus for this one.

If you want to see what one of my games is like and you've already played Ironbound Schism, I recommend looking at my run through of that scenario. Or I see that you are running a non-PFS game of Risen from the Sands (a good call -- you can fix all the mistakes in that badly designed module and keep the good stuff!)

You can see what happened with the mimic from that module with me running it. The one saving grace of the module was almost no monster tactics, which meant that I could have a blast with that mimic. It was my very first PbP that I GMed, and so my GM style was still a bit clunky, but it turned out surprisingly well.

Silver Crusade

Player's forum handle: caps
Character name: Andoliesa
PFS# #137974-15
Race/Class(es)/Level(s): Tengu Warpriest/2
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job Roll, if any: profession, scribe +7

1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about:

None come to mind.

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?

Out of character: I made Andoliesa as my token Tengu character. She has been through a series of evergreens and I have played around with her characterization in those somewhat but did not really delve into her before preparing for this submission. I'm glad you put this recruitment together as it has pushed me to flesh her out more. I've put a fair bit of out of character description in her profile page, but can repeat it here:

character depth:

Personality traits:
Mothering
Doesn't know when to rein in mothering instincts
Graceful in movement (probably not socially gracious)
Protective
Thoughtful
Patient; not easily roused
Quick to correct, chastise, critique, censure

Goal:
Become a paragon of battle in the name of protecting the weak and persecuting the unrighteous as grandmother crow would

Background:
An orphan raised by a cleric of Andoletta. Became a pathfinder to explore and as a means to achieving her goal. In her downtime she returns to her adoptive mother and helps her transcribe sermons and religious texts.

Some NPCs from her background:
The now-elderly cleric of Andoletta, Dorabetta, that raised her.
Alvar, her Dwarven "brother," who is now a well-settled and non-wandering cleric of Torag.

A Memory:
Her parents being captured by hellknights for scavenging while she watched from the place they hid her. The hellknights ultimately executed her parents for thievery, but Andoliesa believes the charges were trumped up. She is not a fan of hellknights, but she is still not easily roused by them.

A Quirk:
It is not at all uncommon for her to end sentences in "you know" regardless of whether the audience would know.

A Mannerism:
Although she is very patient and not riled easily, she is not afraid to criticize or chastise others. Not everyone finds this endearing, particularly as Andoliesa does not have the old age one might respect or endure such behavior from.

"Oh, the poor thing. We found that bard trapped in a tower, just hours before those putrid troglodytes were going to sacrifice him in some foul ritual. Then there were the children in the orphanage, you know. That old caretaker woman was drinking much more alcohol than was good for her, I tell you! We discovered she was sending the children out to work and using the money to keep the orphanage running." she shakes her head. "We reported her to one of the Silver Crusaders." She pauses to lift her head higher than usual and seems to preen her feathers, "I am a Silver Crusader myself, you know." She pauses again, as if to bask in that statement, then sniffs "On our next mission we stopped those Aspis--" she spits on the ground "--from experimenting on the poor with a new, awf drug they invented. Then we stopped them from spreading the drug all throughout the inner sea, you know." She gives another pause, then concludes "So that is why I am a Pathfinder. There is so much good I can do; so many places I will find myself able to help that I would never find myself in if I just stayed home and scribed all the time."

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?

I want to see Andoliesa mothering all the others of her kind. I also think this is going to be a great experience and have heard great things about you as a GM.

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?

Yes, please do.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)

In combat Andoliesa focuses on taking the bad guys down first and healing allies later. She'll use Fervor to heal herself if she feels it's necessary to stay in the fight, but she prefers to save it for swift action castings of Divine Favor, which she in turn saves for fights that don't look easy.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)

Yeah. I will hopefully be starting a new job in July, but I have not historically had an issue with 2-3 posts a day. I keep up with almost a dozen games of varying paces, including several that lead to multiple posts a day (currently the Shadow Lodge special as Fingalad, By Way of Bloodcove as Kelsier, and Phantom Phenomena as Mavaro).

Silver Crusade

Unfortunately I am pretty busy the next couple of days with getting a rental house ready, visiting with family, and traveling. I am going to try to get involved in the rp thread but it will be tough over these few days.

Do what you need to do to get your house ready! Participation in the RP thread is not 100% required. I'm mainly using it to get a sense of character personalities and see how some of you interact -- especially since so many of the applicants were freshly minted for this occasion. Andoliesa, you have a post history with this character that I can happily mine for information.

Silver Crusade

Player's Forum Handle: bigrig107
Character name: Dekarin Ironclad, Knight of Iron.
PFS# 138385-14
Race/Class(es)/Level(s): Bloodrager (Id Rager-Anger) 1/Cleric (Mendevian Crusader) 1.
Faction: Silver Crusade (but only because their name contains the word "Crusade").
Day Job Roll, if any: none; not enough skill points.

____

1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about:
The Anger focus, from the Id Rager archetype, makes my rage give me +2 Strength and -2 Dexterity as well as Power Attack, in addition to the normal benefits of Bloodrage.

2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?
Well, the chronicles he has applied are The Confirmation, The Half-Dead City, and We B4 Goblins (from Free RPG Day). So, he's a "low-level experienced" Pathfinder, and has had some encounters with undead. Other than that, just your average Tengu in full plate.
As to why he's in the Society? Personal glory, fighting stuff, wealth. That kind of stuff.

3) Why do you want to be in a wacky all-Tengu game? What makes you want to be part of the flock?
It's simple: "battle chicken".

4) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?
Yes, you may. I have no problem with you doing so.

5) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)
Cast either Shield of Faith or Divine Favor if able to, then rage and charge. If on his next turn his opponent isn't dead, he will hit it again. Will put this in a spoiler on his sheet.

6) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)
Yep. Can, and will, do.

Hey Gang --

There have been so many wonderful submissions so far. We do have two pieces of news.

1) Slothsy has agreed to GM a second Tengu table of Murder’s Mark. I've been talking with them about this and they have agreed to run a fast-paced game, running with the same expectations as the ones I laid out in my first recruitment post.

2) We’re closing recruitment a day early to everyone but PhUnbalanced and TheOrcNextDoor. Since you two expressed interest, you still may submit an application. Keep in mind though that we’re already selecting right now, so any submissions past this point will have to knock it out of the park.

Those that keep track of such things will realize that we have potentially 15 applications for 12 seats, which means that a few of you may get designated as alternates. This means that Slothsy and I still have a few hard decisions to make.

We’ll be balancing a number of elements in our choices, trying to get two great tables together. Thanks so much for submitting.

You, ah, seem to be missing a letter from my forum handle in your list of applicants, and I only now noticed. XD

Hello everyone! I wanted to quickly drop in and introduce myself. I'm Slothsy (though I'll be using my Lunar Sloth tag as my GM alias) and I'll be running the second table. Hmm asked me to do so when she had so much interest. We've been talking about the game ever since. I look forward to this as a fast-paced, engaging Murder's Mark!

Oh, dang!
I seem to have missed out on the discussion roleplay scene.

That doesn't hurt my chances too much, does it?

Almonihah, oops. I dropped that "l" pretty consistently, didn't I? I'll have it fixed in the final listing.

Dekarin, I didn't want people to stress out too much, trying to impress me with a flurry of last minute RP after I closed the recruitment. There were a number of people who missed out on the discussion roleplay scene. Like Andoliesa, you have a fairly rich posting history elsewhere that I can look at. So I have some idea of what you can bring to a table.

That said, if you guys wanted to keep going with the discussion roleplay scene, I'm willing to reopen if it'll give you a chance to feel more comfortable with your characters.

It's not a problem. I just thought it was funny that you did it so consistently and I never noticed until today.

Silver Crusade

Hello! I made some minor changes in Chack-Qetchack's battle skills. First, now he's wielding claws instead of kukris. And now claws are his sacred weapon (which I think is more logical for human-bird who worships the God-like Owl). Secondly, he is now much more accurate and more dangerous because of this, although the number of attacks remained the same - two claws plus bite instead of two kukris plus bite (battle tactics are also not changed). It was a game-mechanical part. And thirdly, I have added the formulas for dice rolls in my character's description.

Thanks for your attention! )

Oh! That sounds like it would be fun to watch. I hope to read the progress of both groups to see all you awesome tengu in action.
