FYI, running chronicle sheets tonight. Will have the intro to part 2 up tomorrow. Sorry for the wait, but thank you for the patience. We've had 4 days straight of internet up. Been getting caught up with work. Now to get caught up with gaming.
Woooo! I'm with Fate. c: I'm just glad your regular life has reorganized itself - it means we can guiltlessly drag you back into the fold~ Return to the glory of pbp! \o/
yes, but Gillii will be 2nd lvl after this chronicle... and I'm playing him still at 1st til I get that chronicle... I hate the idea of levelling up mid-scenario.
Soooo, here's a question. I received my chronicle sheet, but it hasn't been reported to Paizo yet. Is that the same for everyone else? o: I wasn't sure if maybe I'd accidentally derped my input. @_@
Slightly random question - Lunevi wrote on one of her sheets of parchment in that attempt to trick Lazlo. Should I assume that she's down one of 'em and adjust my character sheet accordingly or would she have maybe... I dunno, drawn in the parchment version of margins?
Lunevi has a bluff of +3 and a disguise of +3 with the potential to bump both of 'em up by on (yay, charming)! I just didn't think it made sense to pretend to be people that they're... Well. Not? At least, not without some preparation. I mean, if the plan is to place someone under 'arrest' from an undercover perspective, that's one thing, but I figured we'd just be disrupting whatever's going on during the day and that'd require some make up or extra costumes so whoever is there can't be all, Hmmmm, these people look familiar - weren't they here yesterday? since I thought we were trying to keep from exposing ourselves and our motives?
To be blunt, I'm not particularly bothered over which way we go or how we handle it - if we think we can bluff our way through the mess, I'll happily have Lunevi sit back and let the bluffing commence! It saves me 50gp and as a 1st level character, yeah, I'll totally take that gp and shove it right back into my pocket - being poor suuuuuucks! If they want to dress the part, Lunevi's willing to shell out for it for the success of the mission (Grand Lodge and all that).
If we're better off with the flat bluffing, then we can totally do that! I don't want to bog the game down because I got a bit too into the roleplay, orz. If anything, I feel bad that I accidentally threw a loop into the works!
I will be traveling from Saturday morning until Weds. night (driving up north to see the eclipse). I will try to check in at least once a day, but if I miss a post time, please feel free to bot me to keep the flow going. I don't want to hold up the game.
I'm looking forward to it! My fiance and I normally go in a tiny lil' Rialta, but since the engine went down, we're going to be bunking in cabins and tents with the rest of 'em! Plus, since I missed out on the last event, I've got a lot to catch up on. c:
I will be attending Strategicon from Friday through Monday... Will be able to make limited posts, but not reliably nor frequently... I will try to keep up with at least one post a day, but no guarantees. Please bot me as needed to keep up the pace of the game, thanks.
Thanks for the heads up. BTW, we are closing in on the end of part 2 of our trilogy, with the big part (the module) yet to come. I think we'll likely finish this part next week.
BTW, awesome posting rate this past week everyone. We've been getting through rounds of combat really well. The dice are just making this last more rounds than expected. Getting very close now with half of the enemies down and the two casters basically out of spells.
I'll get the debrief up, chronicles filled, and get part 3 of our trilogy launched next week. Going to take the weekend off posting for my daughter's 4th birthday party (lots of setup and then a house full of 3 and 4 year olds.) You will get an additional 430 GP and 2PP (hit all objectives, I'll cover details in the debrief). Please post any dayjobs, and I'll get paperwork caught up and the next adventure going next week.
One question I want to put out there. Has anyone played Murder's Mark before? It's an evergreen, but I find there are far more people who don't know it than the other old evergreen mods. I still plan to change the fluff to give a reason why Guaril is sending a bunch of pathfinders into the mess, but other than giving you an additional mission to finish on the adventure, I plan to run most of it pretty straight up from the mod. It's a really good investigation/mystery. If we have people who have played, I'll try to twist things a bit on the fluff, leaving all the mechanics the same.
Female Human Empiricist Investigator / Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) 2/1 | HP 28/28 | AC 18 (22), T 14, FF 14 CMD 17 | Fort +3, Ref +10, Will +2 | Init +4 | Perc +9(10) | Sense Motive +10 | Panache 3/4 | Inspiration 2/4
Just as a heads up, Ella leveled up after Consortium (which was expected and stated at the outset of this trio), but since I'm currently out of town I won't have her leveled up for a couple of days. Still able to post, she'll just be operating at level 1 'til Thursday night.
Not a problem. The action won't start right away on this one. Travel will be hand waved, and you'll arrive to see the circus in town and be able to start playing games and investigating while you take in the local scene.
Going to be on a cruise from the 30th to the 7th! (Grandpa's 80th on the 8th, so I'll be out then, too.) I'll be trying to check in 1/day, but please feel free to bot my character while I'm out.
Default copy/paste message aside, I'm just waiting on my chronicle sheet. Hmmm, let's just retcon whatever Lunevi's buying so we don't get stuck in a rut?
Apologies. Biggest quarter ever at work, which meant ridiculous number of contracts going through last minute, so Friday through Monday was working all weekend. I didn't get to even check PbP for 4 days. Sorry I didn't give any notice or updates. It was busy leading up to that, so I was delaying slightly kicking back off again, but this weekend was more ridiculous than normal. Now with the new quarter, everything slows down again, and we can get this thing running.
Hiyami shouldn't miss too much as we have all the prelims of learning the town. I'll autoroll all knowledge checks for Hiyame so that won't slow anything down. Fixing the chronicle issue as well. About the 7th is where things should get interesting again.
glad to know you are okay... and still with us... and that things are slowing down at work for you... busy is cool, but sometimes it can get overwhelming. Take your time and post when you can....
I will get things started back up for part 3, really! Spent this week sick and getting behind on games, since my limited computer time has been catching up on work I wasn't getting done while in bed.
Sorry if I'm a few posts behind... Husband is in surgery today and probably won't be able to post again til late tonight or tomorrow... Again, sorry for any delay - feel free to bot me to keep the action moving...thanks.
