Here we go, this is my submission. In a perfect world I’d be building an Herbalist (Mycologist), but I have a feeling that’s a pretty popular class and I’d be willing to switch to a similar kind of class. I know that Alchemists and Witches have a decent herbalist build, so I don’t mind switching if need be.

Spoiler:
Name: Trinn
Race: Goblin (of course)
Alignment: CN
Role: This one seems like it could be up in the air. I’m only just reading through the Herbalism stuff now, but it seems like the Mycologist is an insanely chaotic master-of-none type of class. I enjoy support-type builds, so hopefully that’s where I’ll end up gravitating towards.
Picture: I’m using the character Vial-Smasher the Fierce from Magic: The Gathering as my inspiration for how Trinn would look. Not sure if there are any red-haired goblins in the Paizo avatar bin though, so my alias would look different. Note that this is how Trinn sees herself, not how she really looks-that might change over the course of the campaign, who knows?
Personality: Trinn is a younger goblin, who took over the position of “Head Plant Grower and also Healy Person” after the previous Head Plant Grower and also Healy Person Marta choked to death on an apple. As Marta’s apprentice, Trinn got the job, even though she had only been apprenticing for about 2 weeks and had shown little interest in actually learning how plants worked. Trinn preferred instead to just eat pretty much anything she came across and hope she remembered later on what happened afterwards. When she has to actually help someone out with a remedy, she often seems indecisive, offering one plant and then at the last minute throwing it away, saying that actually “it was THIS plant you should take, the other one would probably have killed you”. This isn’t to say that Trinn isn’t talented-she is. While Marta was good at keeping an organized (for a goblin, anyway) garden, Trinn goes out into the woods for hours on end and then returns later, pockets overflowing with weird mushrooms and herbs that people were sure had never grown in the area before. Trinn is also weird for a goblin in that she is actually pretty quiet. She has a weird talent for actually listening to what other people are saying, which also has the unintended consequence of being talked over when she finally has something to say.
Virtue: Trinn’s a pretty smart cookie, and doesn’t often rush into things. Instead, she usually takes like...at least a second or two to make sure that her immediate plan of action won’t kill her horribly. And for someone who eats mushrooms for a living, that’s a REALLY good thing.
Vice: She’s shy. Like, really really shy. You don’t become someone who eats mushrooms for a living out in the woods by yourself unless you’re painfully afraid of talking to other people. To everyone else's’ credit, they’re trying to get her to come out of her shell a little. Throwing someone in the deep end and forcing them to cover for an entire goblin tribe’s worth of herbalism and plant based remedies is a fantastic way of forcing someone to interact with people and not just plants/fungi. She's still pretty prone to getting walked over by other goblins, and she's not much of a leader. Definitely a bit more of a follower.
Theme Song: I’m thinking the Trailer Park Boys theme. It’s kind of calm, but if you know anything about the show (or goblins) you know that it’s just kind of masking the chaos that can happen.

I think that’s it! Let me know if you have any questions or anything.

This is GM RelicBlackOUT. This is a rough draft of the goblin I would be interested in.

Answers to your questions:

Phase Two
Now that I know a bit about you, I'd like to hear a bit about your proposed character. We're keeping the crunchy bits to a minimum right now, as that's honestly the least important part of your submission.
- Name Stab Stab I hit them with the pointy end!
- Alignment (all allowed, but Chaotic is preferred) CN But not CN as an excurse to do crazy things that doesn’t fall in my real alignment.
- Role/s (melee damage, ranged damage, magic support, healer, trapmonkey, skills, face, etc) Focuses on traps and skills.
- Picture (for map use - and so I know what you look like) I liked the picture I put as his image
- Personality (including a specific Drawback and/or weird quirk) He is loyal until the coin runs out or his life is at risk. Until one of those two things happen, he has your back until the end... well sort of.
- Virtue/Vice (what's your best quality, and what typically trips you up) He is CN, does not care for organized leadership within humanoid society. He also does not want to be the leader within his tribe.
- Theme Song (Goblin song preferred, but I'll accept any type of music)see below

If you have a class in mind, feel free to let me know during this time. Normally I give a rather lengthy list of approved classes, but I'm being a lot more flexible for this campaign due to its inherently crazy nature. Class is Unchained Rogue, if allowed. When I prebuilt this character I went with a 15 point buy. I would adjust accordingly to whatever build structure you would use.

The Sneaking Song:

Goblins sneak and goblins hide,
Goblins hunt when dark outside,
Out the forest, through the trees,
Goblins quiet in the leaves
Goblins sneak and goblins harm,
Goblins find a lonely farm,
Badger stink and poison bone,
Kill the dog away from home
Goblins sneak and goblins hide,
Goblins know how get inside,
Down the chimney, up the loo,
Goblins know just what to do
Goblins sneak and goblins spy,
Goblins hear the baby’s cry,
Find the crib and climb beneath,
Draw the blade and lick your teeth
Goblins sneak and goblins hide
Goblins climb up high inside,
Must be quick with shiny knife,
Never wake-up farmer’s wife
Goblins sneak and goblins see
Goblins know now when to flee,
Stuff the baby into sack,
Run from room, don’t look back
Goblins sneak and goblins hide,
Goblins hunt when dark outside,
Deep in forest, out of sight,
Goblins eat baby tonight

Phase Two!

- Name
Scrabble

- Alignment
Neutral Evil

- Role
Scout/Trapbreaker/Melee damage dealer.

- Picture
Here's a good map picture

- Personality
Scrabble is a combination of the War Boys from Mad Max Fury Road, and Tempts Fate from the Goblins webcomic. He's a psychotic bundle of kinetic energy who likes to show off. He has two rules to live by-
1) Always try to out-do your last stunt.
2) It doesn't count if no one is watching.

Scrabble's biggest flaw is that he has zero self preservation instincts. He's past brave all the way to foolhardy. He's the terrier who thinks it can pick fights with bears.

- Virtue/Vice
Do goblins have virtues? Um... he's exciting to be around? He's always willing to be the first one to throw himself into danger? Like a paladin! Yeah! Why are you giving me that look?

As for vices, the list is long. He's greedy, spiteful, shortsighted, and proud.

- Theme Song

Well, I want Scrabble's theme song to be some speed metal anthem about climbing onto people's shoulders and riding their corpses into the dirt, but I have to be realistic. Scrabble hasn't earned that yet. He's a first level goblin with nothing but a knife and poor impulse control. His theme song is Yakkity Sax

Silver Crusade

dotting,
Who am I?: I am Rorek, I am an Eastern Standard Time-zoner, and I honestly a rather boring person!

My experience with pathfinder is pretty wide, I started playing in 2011, and have played for the large part of the time since then. I am intrigued by most 3pp, however mostly just in classes, I have found Path of War and psionics a bit distasteful as they seem "too powerful".
I enjoy anywhere from a 50/50 to a 30/80 split (either way) for role/roll play. In other words, I rather enjoy both.

As for spheres, I would rather stay away from them, It looks interesting, particularly the fact it does away with the horrible fire and forget casting, but I may not have the time to learn a new system.

I rather enjoy Inter-party conflict and believe I handle it well! (being a paladin player) That said, it can get touchy sometimes with people that get testy over the game. So I like to know who I am playing with before I try any shenanigans.

Should a game fall silent, I normally try to post something to pick it up, and I will always check back for GM updates however, when games start to fall silent for extended periods multiple times it worries me as that is normally the sign of a dead/dying game.

Scarab Sages

What sort of goblin i make depends a lot on what I see others making. I mean, It will probably either be a ranged focused charector, or maybe that rite publishing luckbringer... it looks like i could make all sorts of quirky goblinly fun things with it >.> but definitely chaotic in nature hmm... and I will have a goblin song up sooner than later :)

Some questions before I make firm decisions:

Spoiler:

Pyrokineticist was, naturally, my first thought. Would you allow Fire Tamer and Flame Heart apply to a Kineticist's blasts? They're from an older source that came before Kineticists were a thing, but would be nice to have for a pyrokineticist.

What is the gun availability like? The Goblin Gunslinger feat looks like it could be hilarious. Maybe even if guns aren't available, if you'd allow it to apply to crossbows and I could take the Bolt Ace archetype.

Edit: Oh, one more thing. How do you feel about Leadership? Kingmaker seems like the perfect AP for it, but I know a lot of GMs ban it outright.

TheWaskally's submission
Name Kraleck

With a name like mine, why I should be all but guaranteed to get in!!
But, well... There is a slight chance of failure. Sabotage. Sabotage is good!
Hey! Mdt, come here... squeak!
Ignore that. That was just the sounds of the Internet Goblins stealing the imahjunations from Mdt's hopes and dreams... >->

Phase One:

Short and sweet version
Who are you? Hi! My name is Cameron :)
I am currently unemployed but I am self-teaching myself programming in my spare time, which I seem to have lots of.
Where are you located? Cowtown, Alberta. The place with the igloos. Mountain Standard time.
What's an interesting fact about yourself? I have a cat. This cat loves the heck out of me, for some reason (and I am loving it!!! Its a new thing for me...) However, this cat has a destructive streak a mile wide and is constantly trashing my room :/
How experienced are you with Pathfinder? Very experienced. I know Loooots of things about this game. For example, Vulnerable to Eggs is a thing. Water Elementals deal 1/2 damage underwater and Fire Elementals can get heat stroke. One day I was an idiot and built This Guy, a lvl 20 Gestalt Rhino Rider. His first (and only) attack took 56 lines to write out. Fifty-Six. And I was supposed to attack 4 more people!
How about 3pp? I also know a lot about different 3pp material such as SoP, Psioncs, Path of War and most of the additional rules in the Gamemasters tab.
Additionally, I absorb new rules like a sponge and can easily learn whatever is required :)
However, Pathfinder is the only "chassis" that I play using. My joy is in figuring out how to make my crazy ideas work within the confines of Pathfinder, rather then just any other game out there.
What's your ideal roleplay/rollplay balance? Honestly, its leans quite heavily towards the role-playing side. I know I can create clever combinations, however they simply don't create staying power. I get invested in characters that I can empathize with, and if I get invested in them then I am a lot more likely to enjoy/stick with them.
How do you handle inter-party conflict? Avoid it whenever I can. Text is not a great medium to convey emotion or intent (without a smiley face :/) and "humor" is in the ears of the listener, not the speaker. Its too easy for light-hearted jabs to turn into personal attacks. Instead, I'll just play pranks on myself! Or do stupid things to get people to laugh :) If I am the only victim then there is no victim.
How familiar are you with the PbP format? Very familiar. I could probably make these posts sing...
What's your preferred posting frequency? "Aim for 2, hit 1." I view the boards multiple times per day, but I usually only end up posting once, maybe twice.
What do you do if things appear to be slowing down or fall silent? Well, I usually try to create options for myself when I create the character (the Eidolon Twins will ALWAYS have something for them to get into, for example) so that I can usually do SOMETHING in a slow spot. That said, I also try pretty hard not to hog the spotlight, so that may mean keeping silent sometimes. Its a hard act to balance. :/
Failing that, I will often try to write a leading post, which might give another person a hook to chime in on. Personally, I hate writing sentence closers and will almost always try to write my posts in a way that allows someone else to continue from. Rarely will I write a hard stop on a topic.
Better then Mr. "Hmm. 1: I Power Attack. 2: I Intimidate. 3: I leave it to the noisy Bard." kind of character ^_^
Is there anything else you'd like me to know? Well, I do take medication :( They are mood stabilizers, and sometimes they stabilize a little TOO well (aka flatlined), which can affect my posting. Will do my best to keep it well handled however!

You said that you normally don't post novels, and I agree with you, I normally keep it to a few paragraphs as is necessary. However, I decided to go in-depth with this one, I actually have the time to! So here is the long-winded version. Its purely extra, the above should suffice :)

Phase One: the Novel

Spoiler:
Hi! My name is Cameron! I am a bit over 20 years... and a bit, and a bit, and a bit more... and living in the middle of Cowtown, Alberta. For those of you who don't know where that is, its the place where people live in igloos up North of the States. I think that's Mountain time :/
I am currently unemployed and have been for quite some time due to illness, on the positive side that does mean I have a lot of free time on my hands, and I have often used a lot of that time on Pathfinder :3 Additionally, I am self-teaching myself how to program, as it seems to be something I can do and I seem rather good at picking it up! ^_^
One day being able to design and program a game spawned from the depths of my imagination and call it my own is a goal of mine :)
An interesting fact about me? Hmmm. Well my landlord has this cat named Benny and for whatever reason this cat has stuck with me like glue :/ Its friggen awesome! He sleeps with me at nights, takes naps with me, sits on my lap while I program, howls at my door at 6AM each morning and just... Likes me :/ I have never had a cat that likes me like that before and it warms my heart every night :,)
That and he is Bound and Determined to destroy everything he can in my room... Everything...

As for my experience with Pathfinder, well simply, I am very experienced. I have a mind that is good at storing all sorts of random facts and rules and then taking these random bits of knowledge and combining them together in clever ways :/
Its just pretty natural for me and I have had quite a few years of practice doing so :/
So initially I was naturally a very strong Min-Maxer and enjoyed doing that for quite a few years. I could create powerful things, so I did. Over time however, I slowly came to realize that "big numbers" or contrived combinations had a strong initial excitement, but that quickly faded. It was something else that acted as the glue for a character or campaign. I also came to realize that mechanically "strong" characters often relied on that mechanical strength to support them in other areas of the game like a crutch, and often created an inferiority complex about that often fragile and all too important strength.
Now, as time progresses I have searched for a different, more engaging way to play, and that has often stuck me pretty squarely in the role-player camp. I like using my very good knowledge expertise to create as many different engagement opportunities as I can, rather then just purely powerful but binary options.
As for 3pp, there are a good few different systems that I know, and know well. SoP, Psionics, Path of War, and a most of the additional rules in the Other Rules in the Gamemastering tab. That and a whole slew of Homebrew rules :/
Also, anything that I may not know about, I am a quick study and can usually pick it up extremely fast >:D
As for inter-party conflict, I usually avoid it as hard as I can, which can be a lost opportunity sometimes as I have an inner jokester just waiting to play pranks on someone :p
The way I view it, Piazo Pathfinder is not an easy medium to convey emotions or intent (without ham-fisting a smiley face into it :/), and its too easy to mix up a personal attack with a light-hearted jab. Additionally, humor is in the ears of the listener, not the speaker. Many people don't understand that while *I* find something funny, that does not guarantee that someone else will as well.
My solution? Play a character like the Goblin Twins I was talking about and just prank the crap out of myself >:D
At least that's the safer thing to do :) And I would rather do the safer approach to a game then risk ruining someone else's fun, even if I lose out on some chances to be clever >_>

How familiar am I? Well I am pretty sure I could make these forums sing if I wanted. Or trot out a tap-dance :/
I have figured out many neat little tricks that I can do beyond the basic and more well known ones.
Preferred posting frequency is "aim twice, hit once". I check the boards a couple times a day but I can usually only get a good 1 post in, sometimes 2.
My preferred posting length is always above a 1-2 liner, I like to add some amount of depth to my posts and always try to create leading posts (posts that invite another character to add something, vs a conversation closer that ends a topic) if I am able to. That said, I don't usually write novels (this one here being the exception :p).
As part of how I often try to design my characters, I try to give them at least a variety of different options so that I am more likely to have something to do, rather then just "1: Power Attack. 2: Intimidate. 3: Let yappy-yap Bard do it." That way, when things are slow I actually have the ability to poke and prod a bit.
I can drive things forwards from time to time :)

As for myself, well I do take medication. It's mood-altering medication for a mood disorder and it has cost me some games in the past :(
It's hard to stay motivated and driven for a game when your motivation suddenly gets cut off :(
That said, I keep trying and constantly push back and engage with people however I do have off periods from time to time :(
Will do my best to keep caught up and on top of it tho!

Well that's Part One for now!!! I will get to Part 2 tomorrow.
And if you are a little lucky, I might be able to whip up a Submissions project of mine that you might quite enjoy ;)

Edit: Did someone say 52pb? I'll just leave this shameless 80pb laying here... (man, that was a while ago!)

Tschabba:

- Name Tschabba Three chins
- Alignment (all allowed, but Chaotic is preferred) Chaotic Evil
- Role/s (melee damage, ranged damage, magic support, healer, trapmonkey, skills, face, etc) Face (Intimimancer) and melee, a bit tank
- Picture (for map use - and so I know what you look like) Picture
- Personality (including a specific Drawback and/or weird quirk)
Tschabba is a firm believer in Taking his share.
Like having a good meal. Good means LOADS of food.
If he were not quite strong he would be rolling piece of fat.
His considerable bulk help with leading, or scaring the heck out of others.
Groomsh absolutely hates elfes and he has quite a collection (three) of elf ears hanging around his neck.
- Virtue/Vice (what's your best quality, and what typically trips you up)
Tschabba would seem lazy, but he is anything but. Whenever there is battle he craves to be there, bash in heads, collect ears and have a bloody good time. But he is not reckless.
And he is rather intimidating, if he wants to.
He goes ballistic if someone eats part of his share.
- Theme Song (Goblin song preferred, but I'll accept any type of music)

Character type oversized goblin antipaladin intimimancer

Name: Dys Thunderclaw
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Role/s: Ranged damage with a bit of skills. Thinking a Musket Master Gunslinger.

PEEKSHUR

Personality (including a specific Drawback and/or weird quirk):
Dys grew up a bit of a runt, being bullied and made fun of by the other goblin kids (and many of the adults). When she gets her hands on a weird longshank boomstick, all those carefully plotted revenge plans suddenly seem within reach. More, she can now make others respect her and finally acknowledge her awesomeness. She is not as impulsive as other goblins, being instead inclined to long sessions of musing and grumbling to herself, watching and biding her time. She has an overly inflated opinion of herself, exaggerating her accomplishments and minimizing or overlooking her shortcomings. She tends to hold on to grudges for a long time, but you will become her instant friend if you praise her. She talks about herself in third person - "Did yah tink Dys wazza fool? Dys one iz gunna show yah!". She wants to appear very knowledgeable about boomsticks, so she invents words to use for the different parts, ammunition etc. They are not always the same words, but you shouldn't point out that inconsistency to her. After all, who's holding the boomstick? Eh? EH!? That's what I thought.

Virtue/Vice (what's your best quality, and what typically trips you up):
Pride. Pride is both. Dys puts so much importance on being awesome (especially in front of others), that failure is not an option and she will go to great lengths to ensure success. This can also mean that she will persist in a task long before it's time to give up and try something else.

She is also a big fan of spicy food and will constantly pester the tribe herbalist for plants, berries, mushrooms, herbs and pretty much anything that adds a lot of kick to the food.

Theme song

Potential relationships:
- Scrabble: constant competition on who shows off more/better
- Trinn: spice supplier, so Dys tries to maintain a good relationship there
- Radisok: tries to tinker with Dys's gun, Dys is always trying to fend him off

Goblin Madness:
Name - Croaker

Alignment - Chaotic Neutral (likes causing chaos and spreading fire, whether its right or wrong)

Roles - Thinking of Bard at the moment. Will focus on fire and illusionary spells while singing goblin songs at the top of his lungs. (Specifically looking at the Flamesinger & Flame Dancer archetype combo for a fire-fighting performer. :D)

Picture - Pic

Personality - Croaker has been meshing and mashing songs since he was a little tyke, not that he's much bigger now. He was given his name after learning to harmonize with a pet frog that he uses to add to his singing. His current frog is his fifth one now, since the mortality rate of squeezing such creatures for music is high.

Croaker loves fire as well, and his natural ability to set things on fire delights him to no end. He also loves to play pranks using his spells on others and generally cause mayhem everywhere.

Croaker is particularly scared of letters, since he is afraid of all the words in his head falling out and leaving him without his ability to throw insults or invent clever songs. To counteract this possibility, Croaker uses the well-known goblin tradition of speaking to his food before eating it to add words into his head. As he has yet to fail to sing, he knows it works completely.

Virtue/Vice - Virtue: Can harmonize with a frog. Vice: Frogs don't last long enough.

Personal Song - Though he has many songs, his favorite is his song for himself:

Sing like frog, croak on log.
Set on fire and kill the dog.
No goblin can sing like me.
Me can sing farther than see.

Me make fakes and noisies too,
While me make froggie croak in tune.
Me be strongest, this you'll see,
For me a goblin hero be.

Scarab Sages

I would love this, but a reflection on my schedule reveals that I can't. I withdraw.

Phase Two

Name: Toofgric Toeswallow
Alignment Chaotic Neutral

Picture:

Role: Sneaky-killer -- sniper/flanker type who loves to Kill it with Fire! -- was thinking it's be snazzy to go Pyrokineticist, possibly the Elemental Annhilator archetype -- so ranged blasting plus up-close-and-personal fiery blade -- with possible dips to help with the stealthing and the killing (a few dice of sneak attack damage never hurt anyone.. Well, except the people I'm burning to death, that is...) If not a Kineticist, would maybe go magus or similar to get access to fire -- again, with a touch of the sneak attack dips (though that doesn't work as well with spells)

Personality/Quirks:
Toofgric is small, even for a goblin, but just coming into his power. So, like most smaller goblins, he spent most of his life appeasing bigger, stronger ones -- basically getting by on the scraps they let him have (which, invariably, were smaller than the scraps they promised him) -- which, eventually, evolved into him getting to eat the toes of whatever was killed.

Until, one day, what was killed was a pyromaniac fire sorcerer gnome -- and that night, after eating the toes, when one of the stronger goblins tried to bully Toofgric for one that he was saving for later... well, the bully died a fiery death. Toofgric waited a few days to see if the powers would fade, or anyone else would get them -- until he realized that only he knew the secret. Enemy's powers live in their toes! He could become even stronger if he kept it up.

Since that day, Toofgric is still a talky-friendly goblin who asks for what he wants and is willing to make deals as to how things should be split or what he should get.... However, unlike before, people who don't give him what he thinks is a fair share -- or worse, people who weasel out of the deal and don't give him what he was promised, well, their charred corpses tend to turn up within a few days.

Basically, as a result of a number of "bullies" ending up unexpectedly charred and dead, Toofgric eventually won a measure of respect from the tribe, though the leadership does tend to eye him carefully and would probably be delighted to have an opportunity to send him off to do something dangerous.

Toofgric tends to downplay his power -- knowing that striking unexpectedly is far more effective (and so, he's even patient - for a goblin -- people who cross him sometimes live up to a whole week). That said, like many who have been bullied for a long time who suddenly get power, Toofgric's views on things have changed -- while he's a friendly sort (for a goblin) who'll go along with the group and even act somewhat meek... well, if you cross him or mock him, he keeps a (mental) list -- and is as vengeful as a mite -- which is to say, there will be a fiery reckoning in their future.

Toofgric's relationship with fire is different than most goblins -- which is to say, he still loves it as they do, but now that it's a part of him, he doesn't just throw it around to watch things burn for the sake of it (well, not very often...) -- rather, fire is there to protect and defend him, to help him hunt and kill the badbrains and the longshanks and anything else with toes that might make him strong -- and he'll strike from the shadows, generally only lashing out at horses or evil writings that try to steal his words. Those burn. Immediately.

Toofgric still take the toes from all the kills -- and, in fact, he keeps a small sack of toes on his belt, charred to preserve them -- generally, now that he has better access to food, these are trail snacks for him (though he always eats one while it's fresh, just in case there's some new power to be had).

Virtue/Vice
Toofgric's vice would probably be his vengeful nature -- he's got a list, and those debts will all come due... and it'll take a fair amount of work for that debt to paid with something other than a charred corpse.

Toofgric's two virtues are related to how he grew up. One, his patience and ability to plan. He spent many years needing to find any advantage he could when he was weak and had nothing -- and he's smart enough to realize that it's even more effective to do that when you have strength and power you can apply from an unexpected direction, in secret. Two, because he had to negotiate for everything (well, beg really, but shhh), Toofgric is actually almost diplomatic (again, for a goblin) and willing to make deals instead of just killing and taking things.

I'll work up a song later today or tomorrow. ;) I'm sure it will contain a lot of fire and absolutely not mention toes.

Goblin Concept:

Name - Ribtz

Alignment - NE

Role - Majiks, Healing, Face - Currently looking at witch with traits to use Int instead of CHA for face skills.

Personality/Background - Ribtz has always known better than the other goblins in his tribe. Most of them were stupid and greedy, only worried about getting their next shiny. Ribtz had plans, he and Mr. Jumpy would one day rule the world! Sadly things have been slow going. It’s hard to become chief when you are one of the weaker goblins. The only thing that has kept him out of trouble is his knack for nature and ability to keep his brethren alive, sometimes. While he has no following or real word in the tribe, at least sometimes people consult him for things and he knows that one day the chief will die and then he can make his move. First step take over the tribe, next step take over the world! Ribtz is wiser and generally more intelligent than the average goblin, but due to his power-crazy nature and the lack of power he has he comes off a bit harsh. The goblins put up with him because he has “majiks” and he has provided aid to the tribe, but he generally sticks to himself. He almost always has his over-sized toad Mr. Jumpy with him.

Vice - Pride - He thinks he is smarter than all the other goblins, which is usually true, but he is also one of the weakest and smaller in stature so he often gets ignored in a tribe that values size and strength over smarts.

Virtue - Diligence - He has a goal and always keeps that in mind. While most of the other goblins are to busy seeking their next thing to kill burn or steal, Ribtz has the vision to carry out a long term plan.

Theme Song -
Goblins kick and goblins bite
but Ribtz goin' ta have all the might.
Mr. Jumpy will lead the way
so all the gobos follow Ribtz one day.
Plants and animals are my friends
'cause other stupid gobos follow stupid trends.
One day Ribtz gonna have so much power
all the gobos bring presents for me ever hour.

Kobold Concept:
Name - Clizzax

Alignment - NE

Role - Magic, Face - Currently looking at Sorcerer.

Picture

Personality/Background - Clizzax, even when hatched, had a regal air about himself. Standing out, especially with his shimmering white scales. As Clizzax grew, his draconic heritage became more evident. This combined with his natural charm allowed him to wield more influence in the tribe. This made him a threat to the current Chief. Although the Chief could not get rid of him outright, he played on Clizzax's vanity asking him to do a great service for the tribe. Clizzax was to go into the wilds and find other monstrous humanoids that he could recruit to cleanse the lands of the recent influx of larger humanoids. Clizzax uses his charm and intellect to get what he wants, and when that doesn't work he always has his magic to fall back on.

Vice & Virtue - Vanity - Aside from being attractive, in kobold standards, Clizzax believes himself superior to the other kobolds. This can sometimes cause issues with the other kobolds. On the flip side, his vanity provides him a great deal of confidence in how he approaches life.

Theme Song - Clizzax doesn't sing.

I'm fine with both feats applying. I'll discuss guns at the end of this post. I don't allow Leadership as-written, but there are two alternates from Rogue Genius Games that are permitted. One gives you influence and bonuses (that extend to party members) within a specific region; the other gives you a trio of helpful NPCs that add functionality to your base of operations.

Gobbo Horde:
Hello again! I had a quick question (that can be answered over PM if you prefer): whatever happened to Boreas Summers in our WotW campaign? He dropped off the face of the earth without warning.

Kineticists
I'm not particularly familiar with the material from Occult Adventures, but I'm willing to allow Kineticists since it's a great thematic fit for a Goblin. I'll ask, though, that if you submit one, to be completely comfortable with its mechanics. My understanding is that it's one of the more complicated classes to play, and I don't have the time or patience to police you. If you're unsure if you're up for it, I'd recommend the Elementalist from Spheres of Power as it fills a similar niche but is much simpler mechanically.

Guns
I'm not fond of Paizo's firearm rules, and the campaign doesn't take place in Alkenstar, so no enemies will be using them. Generally, I ban Gunslingers (except for the Bolt Ace archetype). That being said, the Goblin Gunslinger feat exists, and I wouldn't mind blowing up a PC through a poorly-timed misfire at some point. *evil grin* Here's the compromise I've decided upon: guns targeting touch AC is too unbalancing, so I've removed that feature. Instead, they target flat-footed AC inside the first range increment. Also, nobody around is going to be familiar with firearms, so if you need ammo, repairs, or upgrades, you'll have to do it yourself.

I so want to see a goblin attempting to make 'their' version of bullets and gunpowder. How many fingers will they already be missing?

Just to make sure I understand, would I be allowed to make a non-Bolt Ace Gunslinger? My thought was that one of the adventurers that the goblins slaughter had a musket, but I am also fine with waiting for a few levels before acquiring a gun. The compromise seems fair, I picked the class more for the hijinks potential rather than actual power. And because the weapon is one of its kind, there will be lots of experimentation and hilarious failure.

I also wrote a little song:

Da BOOM-stick, da BOOM-stick,
Hits ya wif da hardest kick!
Spit da fire, spit da smoke,
Watch dem run an' fall an' choke!
Spicy majiks make it work,
But don't just dive fo' yer fork!
Lissen well, dis is no drill,
Da BOOM-stick was made to kill!

@Kittenmancer: That's correct. I normally don't allow Gunslingers (or Kineticists), but I'm making an exception for this campaign for comedic/thematic reasons.

Scarab Sages

If i choose a class with a mount/animal companion is their any one of them that would fit thematically in your mind or can i ask and see what you okay?

Dinos aren't native to the area, and aquatic creatures won't be a good fit, either. Other than that, most things should be okay. There's a lot of forests, some swamps, some grasslands, etc.

London:
Yeah as a country boy, I was lucky enough to get Westminster as my first fire brigade posting and got to visit all the sights, beyond the usual visitor bits. (Buckingham palace, Number 10 Downing Street, Westminster Abbey etc) Which was very cool. I've yet to make to anywhere on the American continent (barring a stopover at LAX where we didn't have time to leave the airport) but is definitely in the plan once the kids are older.

Mutty:

- Name: Mutty
- Alignment:CN
- Role/s: mobile melee damage, with a bit of magic support and healing.
I am thinking Wild Rider from necromancers of the northwest, but I am not experienced enough with Pathfinder to know if this is overpowered (I don't think so), so if you aren't happy I would port him across into a Warpriest of Zarongel (Wolf-like Goblin hero/god of dog-killing, fire and mounted combat), possibly taking the divine commander archetype to give the goblin-dog riding and then would become more 'leader' as well.
- Picture: This guy!
- Personality: Being born hairy for a goblin, it was assumed by the goblins raising him, that Mutty was one of the tribe's pack of Goblin dogs (well probably, and at least part goblin dog and well if not, they would raise him and not eat him right!) As a result, Mutty considers himself a Goblin Dog and Stinky (his goblin dog) to be family. Mutty therefore tends to run round on all fours where possible and greets you with bum sniffing to decide who/what you are. Mutty is determined to be fastest in everything: eating (generally gets bad indigestion as a result); going anywhere (he tends to run or ride everywhere); sleeping (always tries to be first to fall asleep, pretending if necessary.
- Virtue/Vice: Surprisingly team/pack orientated, Mutty's best virtue is his protectiveness of his tribe, however this comes at the price of constant internal jockeying for position in the pack (note, this isn't intended to run to full combat, just making others look silly/boasting. Lots of
'Oi, no hit him'
'Youse just did'
'Yep, but he is my tribe, you ain't!'
This also leads to an obsession to be fastest and first, which has nearly got him killed, (almost as dangerous as volunteering)
- Theme Song:
Prowly, Pouncy, Goblin Dog
Scratchy, Smelly, Goblin Dog
Sniffy, Snarly, Goblin Dog
Stinky, my Goblin Doooooggg

Barky, Biter, Goblin Dog
Runny, Raider, Goblin Dog
Chompy, Chaser, Goblin Dog
I ride my Goblin Doooooggg

Spiky, Spelly on my Goblin Dog
Hairy, Hungry on my Goblin Dog
Grouchy, Growly on my Goblin Dog
I'm Mutty, owwwwwwooooooo!

Name: Mogawg Rippa-Fist
Feral Warpriest of Zarongel. Mogawg is a fanatic worshipper of Zarongel, the evil Barghest god of animals and nature. He has been burning farms and freeing cows for the last six months. Farm dogs have been his natural enemies.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Roles: Warpriest of Zarongel - Melee Damage, Magic Support/Healing
Picture: Image
Personality: Hates dogs with an ingrained passion. Contempt for lawful-evil followers of Asmodeus that held the ancestor Barghests in chains. Worships concept of freedom and chaos in nature. Goes out of his way to free livestock from captivity by humans.

Virtue/Vice: Aside from the animals that have willingly enslaved themselves to humans (horses and dogs), Mogawg wants to see animals run free in nature.

Theme Song:
Goblins burn and goblins bash,
Turn the dogses into ash!
Fire spread on humie plight,
Flash and flare and scare them right!
Longshanks run and longshanks flee,
Goblins slice and scream with glee!
Fire burn, hot and bright,
Lock youse doors, cower, fright!
Burn the houses, nice and hot,
Put the peoples in a pot!
Fire dance and fire smite,
Tie them, stake them, wrap them tight!
Chop them, slice them, burn them well,
Fire is our sacred spell!

ok Tune wise here is hers but I really want to make a goblin song when I get more time and creativity.

To be honest, the base Kineticist isn't too rough -- the burn mechanic is the only messy bit.

Kineticists are weird because their primary power (the blast) doesn't have a limit to how many times it can used -- but then, to make it more effective, you're usually facing some burn (or using another ability to avoid burn).

However, before in sound too much like I know what in taking about, I'll confess to just now noticing that a pyrokinetic can't go Annihilator - it requires your blast to be physical, and fire is only energy.

What I'm working on at the moment: map prep. Obviously, hexploration is a major part of Kingmaker, but as-written, there's a lot of empty hexes. I've taken it upon myself to make sure there's something at least semi-interesting everywhere the party goes. Here's the area you'll be exploring (or burning down) for the first seven levels or so.

Name: Thorny Scratchback

Herbalist who protects the gobbos preciouses secrets.
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Roles: Healing stupid Gobbos who get hurt then hitting them with big stick for being stupid and getting hurt.
Personality: Cantankerous old b@@%% who will heal her bretheren and then box their ears for doing whatever stupid thing got them hurt, even if she'd have done the same.

Picture: https://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO9500-5-Vorka.jpg

Virtue/Vice: Loves her tribe deeply and will do her best to heal their ills no matter what it costs her personally. She really f%+%ing hates how stupid they are and often gets s#!$faced drunk on whatever concoction she's recently made.

Theme Song:
Stupid Gobbos go get scrapes,
Thorny makes the same mistakes,
covers bruises fix em up,
watch Gobbos go climb, yup,
he try climb tree, learn to fly,
maybe Thorny let him die?
Thorny goes and sees
how stupid gobbo breaks his knees,
When all healed Thorny smack
hoping gobbo don't come back.

Current thoughts

Chompy the Dragon

A pet "dragon" one goblin shaman brought home. What she thought was a dragon egg, turned out to be a kobold. Still, she thought it was just an undersized dragon that she raised and nurtured as if he was a pet. Alas, his owner dead (Unless someone wants to play his owner!), he must now prove his worth to the tribe.
Concept: Ranger (Shapeshifter), natural weapon combatant.
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Roles: Damage dealer/Pet/Nature person
Personality: Considers himself a small dragon but feels that the Goblins are his masters and protectors for now. Perhaps one day the tables will turn when he is large dragon and the Goblins will worship him instead. A bit meek, easily intimidated, but curious and proud.

Picture: Chompy

Vice/Virtue: Pride and Envy (His pride in his nonexistent draconic heritage and envy of the freedom of the goblins he keeps company with.)/Loyal and fiercely protective of his mistress.

Theme:
Chompy bites
Chompy eats
Chompy doesn't like stinky feets
Chompy stalk
Chompy hunt
Chompy is a dragon runt
Chompy fight
Chompy bleed
Chompy always come home with deer to feed

Not sure I’m going to submit something. I’ve looked at a few ideas, but nothing looks quite right. Or else it competes directly with something someone’s already submitting, and I’m not sure I want that. Maybe something will come to me.

Edit: Ok, now I'm thinking about a Mindblade Magus. Spontaneously-cast psychic spells means no need for a spellbook with icky words.

Phase 1:

Your Benevolent Dictator wrote:
- Who are you? Where are you located (aka your time zone)? What's an interesting fact about yourself?

I am an amateur musician (choral singing only, at the moment--I think my days playing bassoon, cello, and saxophone are behind me). Professionally I sit behind a computer moving data around for a telecommunications company. I live and work in Chicago (Central Time) currently, but I'm from Iowa.

Your Benevolent Dictator wrote:
- How experienced are you with Pathfinder? How about 3pp? What's your ideal roleplay/rollplay balance? How do you handle inter-party conflict?

I've been playing Pathfinder for about 5 years. My 3pp experience is limited to the Spheres systems by Drop Dead Studios--I joined their Spheres of Power kickstarter and have gobbled up the stuff since then.

Over the years my ideal roleplay/rollplay balance has adjusted from something like 20/80 to 60/40. I think the rollplay becomes much more meaningful when it has adequate roleplay supporting it.
I haven't engaged in much character-character conflict, and when I have it's been pretty light-hearted banter. See here for an example.
Your Benevolent Dictator wrote:
- How familiar are you with the PbP format? If so, is there a particular campaign you're particularly proud of? What's your preferred posting frequency? What do you do if things appear to be slowing down or fall silent?

My first PbP experience was on RPGCrossing a few years ago, and I think I've been playing on these boards for a little over a year. I prefer the 1/day + 1/weekend frequency. When things slow down I look for ways I can inject a couple new posts between Discussion and Gameplay.

@YBD you’ve got some work cut out for you when it comes to the selection process. I am feeling overwhelmed for you. - GM RelicBlackOUT

This could be fun

Phase 1:
I'm a 30 year old molecular biologist from the Netherlands (so GMT+1, +2 atm due to daylight savings). I have suffered from severe depression in the past which has resulted in me still working on my MSc and having a crappy job. While the worst is behind me I still have bad days/weeks every once in a while.

I've been playing PF for 8 years now (had to check my copy of the APG for that as that one just released when I started). I'm less experienced with 3pp beyond Psionics and Path of War (played with their 3.5 incarnations). I've read up on Spheres of Magic in the past but I'm not at all what I'd consider familiar with it.
As for role vs roll, I prefer a decent balance, maybe leaning a bit towards role.
When it comes to inter-party conflict, that depends on whether it's IC or OOC. For starters the two should remain separated at all times. I dislike "real" pvp but am fine with role-played fights and squabbles. As for OOC issues, those should be resolved as soon as possible and in a civil way.

I've been playing PBP for 12 orso years now. First in 3.5, then 4e and now PF (as well as the occasional freeform game in the past). Initially I played mostly on RPol but left that site when I discovered the pbp on the Paizo forums. Still my best game was probably a 4e game on the RPol forums that eventually died when the GM became a dad and couldn't spare the time anymore. In it I played a Hybrid Rogue/Sorcerer who functioned as a damage dealer and a pseudo tank due to a combination of abilities and high mobility.
As for slowing down, that depends. If I could sensible say something in game I will, otherwise I'll wait. It also depends on how long those silences tend to last and how often they happen.
Oh and posting speed, aiming for once a day is good but I'm loath to make nonsense/empty posts just to meet a quota.

Phase 2:

Name Peekins
Alignment CN
Role Melee with spell support and some heals
Picture Just the goblin, not the mount. would need to crop for map.
Personality Takes immense pride in his mount/animal companion and loves it dearly. Takes every opportunity to prove 'Uni' is superior to other beasts. Gets very frustrated when companion doesn't listen, which happens on a regular basis (when they don't have a shared focus, like in combat). Balks at people treating Uni as less than a full tribe member.
Virtue/Vice Peekins earned his name. he likes to spy on others and uses Uni as a vantage point. On the other side, he usually is the first to spot danger to the tribe and one of the first to come to it's defense.
Theme Song Peekins will settle for anything containing heavy drums. Over that he'll shout things like "Peekins and Uni!!", "Uni and Peekins!!" "Uni be best beast of all!" and other similar phrases yet it's too incoherent to be truly called a song (which probably is another weak point from a goblin point of view).

I'd be looking at making Peekins a Hunter with the Totem-Bonded archetype. Uni would be his Elasmotherium companion, though Peekins insists she is a unicorn.

Name- Shakau, Scaled Mistress, Most Holy Prioress of the Dinosaur Order, Envenomed Fang in the All Consuming Maw of the Mother of Monsters

Alignment Neutral Evil

Role/s- magic support, healer,

Picture is at- www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FAQw79sR.jpg& ;imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mmo-champion.c

A brief excerpt from the abbreviated version of "The Chronicles of Most Holy Shakau, Vol I" by Professor Bloodink

"Shakau found her vocation as an adolescent when she took a large quantity of peyote to get totally out of her mind and boog..., I beg your pardon, pursue a vision quest in search of wisdom. Shakau woke from her trance nearly a day later, far from where she began, with her mind swimming with wondrous and dreadful revelations. But her true epiphany came when she recalled not only preying to Urgathoa, the Mother of Monsters, but recieving answers, and answers where Urgathoa spoke with Shakau's voice.

Shakau's life was changed by these revelations which led her to becoming a Druid, Saurian Shaman archetype. From that moment she has dedicated herself to the worship of Urgathoa and her spiritual ministry to her fellow goblins.

Not only does Shakau differ from most Goblins in her piety and spirituality, her mindset is also atypical. She is deeply intellectual, visionairy, innovative and a subtle, careful planner. One example of this is Shakau's ability to see beyond typical Goblin hatred of dogs and horses and dependance on Goblin Dogs as mounts. Shakau has urged her fellows to follow her example and embrace dinosaurs and reptiles as mounts. This seminal idea will eventually pay great dividends for the Goblin nation. In the future, Goblin tyranosaurus cavalry, aerial pterodactyl units and amphibious crocodilian marines will spearhead their conquests. Of course there have been a few unfortunate incidents as there will be when launching any new idea. Some Goblins who have not properly followed Shakau's instructions have been thrown, trampled or devoured."

Editor's note- This description is supposed to detail Shakau's drawbacks, quirks and personality traits which inhibit her. Fortunately, there are no such imperfections to list, in their place only competence and dedication. To quote from The Heart Sutra "The bodhisattva dwells in the excellence of wisdom and has a mind free of hindrances."

Theme Song

Celebration of the Lizard by The Doors

The snake was pale gold
Glazed and shrunken
We were afraid to touch it
The sheets were hot dead prisons
And she was beside me
Old, she's no, young
Her dark white hair
The white soft skin

Now, run to the mirror in the bathroom
Look!
Shes coming in here
I can't live thru each slow century of her moving
I let my cheek slide down
The cool smooth tile
Feel the good cold stinging blood
The smooth hissing snakes of rain

YBD:

Just out of curiosity, while I am fine with playing paizo's kobold as it is...any chance it could be a little better? The 5 RP build paizo went with is just plan rude to these noble and majestic creatures. I mean at least they made Goblins a 10 RP value creature.

Toofgric's Song

Gobbies chop and gobbies hack,
Turning longshanks into snack,
Gobbies slash and gobbies burn,
Stoopit longshanks never learn,
They don't see us in the dark,
'Til we burn 'em with sudden spark,
Take the longshanks with no fight,
'Cause we jump out of the night!
Quiet darkness turns to flame,
Crafty gobbies are to blame,
Stoopit longshanks, the fire's hot,
Now you're boiling in our pot!
Munch their ears and chomp the nose,
Eat the fingers and their toes!
Hobbies may war and orcies brawl,
But sneaky gobbies best of all!

Timeline Update
I think we have more than enough interest at this point, so I'm closing recruitment to new submissions. If your name isn't listed on my previous post, you're too late. This means I'm waiting on six people to get a concept submission finalized.

For everyone who's completed Phase Two thus far, I'm going to have some really tough choices to make. As of this moment, I have four submissions that I absolutely love and quite a few others that I really like. Overall, there's a distinct shortage of full casters, so those of you still settling on a concept, that's probably a good niche to shoot for.

Silver Crusade

Heheh, in or out, either way, this'll be a blast.

This is Ouachitonian's rough submission

- Name
Burny

- Alignment (all allowed, but Chaotic is preferred)
CE

- Role/s (melee damage, ranged damage, magic support, healer, trapmonkey, skills, face, etc)
Fire Blaster/other full divine casting stuff.

- Picture (for map use - and so I know what you look like)
The one this alias is using.

- Personality (including a specific Drawback and/or weird quirk)
Burny has been a fanatical devotee of Zarongel ever since he fell into a campfire as a child. Sure, he almost burned to death, and still carries scars from the incident, but he saw something in the flames. A call to devotion to the Bark Breaker. Now he isn't happy unless he's setting things on fire, watching said fires burn, or killing dogs and horses (preferably with fire). He doesn't always pay attention to what (or, occasionally, who) he's setting on fire, though. Other goblins get mad about that, for some reason.

- Virtue/Vice (what's your best quality, and what typically trips you up)
He's really good at starting fires. Sometimes the things he sets on fire probably shouldn't have been ("Pillage, then burn", as Maxim 1 states).

- Theme Song (Goblin song preferred, but I'll accept any type of music)
I'm no good at rhymes. For now "Seraphim" by For Today will do.

By the way, since I didn't see anything about actual class stuff, I'm planning on a Flames Oracle with the Blackened curse.

Edit: Would you allow the 3PP Wildfire Druid archetype? I think that might work even better for what I want to do. I’d need to shift to a Neutral alignment, but Zarongel’s NE, so that fits.

How do you feel about us being of middle age or older? I was thinking of Thorny as being an older goblin

@Burny: Wildfire Druid is fine.

@DJ TPK: I'd prefer if we didn't mess with age categories.

*sigh* I'll just have to be satisfied with a cantankerous b!#~* instead of an old cantankerous b@%@~.
