Ivan steps slightly to the side to try and get from inbetween the two vine piles and brings his hammer down on the vine before slamming his shield straight down in front of him.

Towering over the battlefield Daseem brought his now outrageously big sword up high before letting it fall like an ax upon the bramble! It glinted as it sunk deep into the soil throwing up clods of dirt.

After looking for flowers, Bupkis remembers that Ivan is hurt, and heals him.

Menrozzar doesn't get much in the way while Bupkis searches, and indeed, the goblin finds a false bottom. Clawing it out the real treassure comes to light.

The chest contains a +1 ironwood breastplate, Gorum’s thorn (1+ keen greatsword), a +1 flaming scimitar, 10 +1 orc bane arrows, a single orc slaying arrow, a scroll of barkskin, a scroll of call lightning, a scroll of summon nature’s ally IV, a wand of flaming sphere (9 charges), a wand of greater magic fang (12 charges), an ironwood crown with a stylized thorn motif (worth 250 gp), a ceremonial gem-encrusted cudgel (worth 150 gp), 6 pp and 238 gp.
Of course you know nothing but "ooooh magic" and "ooooh shiny" before someone makes the appropriete rolls.

While all stare into the chest to see if the detour was worth it, the elf druid comes in. "You have found it? What's in it?" she asks.

Ivan looks through the weapons found, wishing again he knew a bit more about magic. He tries to make his best guess about what the best peice in the lot is.

I'm guessing this is an entangle spell of some variety, so the area counts as difficult terrain. I rolled an attack in case I can hit her this round. If I can't, that's fine.

So everything within the circle is difficult terrain (i.e takes 2x the usual movement).

Daseem slogs through the entangled area hoping to close the distance to the hag! Double move. He will double move again to close to melee range next found if possible.

If you don't make it out, you have to save again. But the spell tells nothing about difficult terrain. I say just no charge. If you get caught, you take 1 point of damage from the thorns.

Menrozzar couldn't get clear of the entangling vines the first time, but he shrugged them off as he continued moving towards her. His armor began to grow hot, but he ignored it as he roared in rage, his hands warping into red-scaled claws around his lucerne hammer. Breaking free, he moved to within reach of her and attacked.

Using my rolls from last round, reposted below. I have 5 fire resistance, cause red dragon bloodline. Taking a move action, which carries me clear of the entangle, and then takes me into melee range of the hag.

Scrabbler struggled against the grasping plants but found himself thoroughly trapped. "ME HATE STUPID PLANTS!" he screeched.

Pulling out a vial of alchemist's fire, he threw it at the awful longshanks lady.

Menrozzar cuts into the hag, and Scrabbler sets her aflame. The others work on surrounding the ugly monster. If they are not stuck in the undergrowth.

As Ivan offers himself with his reckless movement, the hag claws at him. And as he cuts off her retreat options she continues the attacks.

Frustrated by the entangling plants, when he finally reaches her Daseem bellows "GOOORRRUUM!"

Ivan ignores the burning armor, trusting in his families work and runes to keep it from completely melting around him.

He takes a step back and swigs one of the remaining potions he had with him and it helps soothe some of burning.
