Okay, then. The lucerne hammer has the same modifier as the +1 longbow, so I'll keep the d20 roll and roll different damage.

Menrozzar drops the bow, pulls out the lucerne hammer and swings it at the dragonfly.

Daseem grunts his agreement with Ivan and steps smartly into melee range. A giant fey dragonfly was an unusual opponent, one he felt our lord in iron would approve of. So with out ceremony he tried to spit it upon the end of his sword!

Ideally he'll try to flank with Ivan if possible.

Somehow I got skipped last turn. I was Staggered, but I still should have gotten an action (not that it probably would have helped)

Again, Scrabbler was knocked flying through the air, this time hitting the wall with the force of the blow. He slid to the ground, holding his ringing head, sprawled on the ground.

Scrabbler crawled beneath Ivan's legs, crouching and taking cover behind the dwarf's massive shield.

It gets a bit crowded around around the dragonfly. Ivan doesn't manage to do more than irritate it. But Daseem cuts into its... yellow gooey innards.

Getting battered about and grabbed and eaten by a giant insect wasn't quite the glorious combat Daseem had in mind. Still one had to make the best of the situation. So he did the only thing he could which was to whisper the word that activated his armor and then having grown to twice his height, he prepares to wrestle his way out!

He now got DR 5/evil.
I realize I forgot to update his HP line, I think he had 1 point of burn right? So 34 hp, less 20 now - owie!

One point of burn means you have one times your level of non-lethal damage: 4 non-lethal. So you are 11 damage away from being staggered, and 12 away from dropping unconscious. Non-lethal damage doesn't count towards death, of course.

Ivan lets out an irritated grunt, before bring his hammer back with a backhand stroke, and then using the momentum of the swing to follow up by slamming his metal plated head into the annoying buzzing thing.

That shimmering insect is really hard to hit. But at least Ivan in his rage manages to deliver the pain to it. Breaking the exoskeleton with his hammer, Ivan adds insult to injury, by headbutting into the broken chitin.

The fey lets go of daseem, moves back and with a piercing look casts glitterdust over the party. Who look now like sparkling unicorns. At least for the sparkling part.

Daseem ignores the strange goop but he briefly gives Bupkis a feral grin, he was back in business!

Dassem currently has AC 20, DR5/Evil and 5' reach - maybe he can hit the dragonfly? (if it moved more than 5' don't some of us get AOOs?)

Towering over the battlefield and glowing like a chritmass tree like Gorum intended, Daseem strides towards the dragonfly and brings his newly huge greatsword round in a gigantic arc - hoping to slice the little nuisance into pieces! Righteous might improves his to hit and damage slightly.

Ivan is hit by the dusty glitter but manages to keep just enough out of his eyes to not have it adversely effect him. Though his precious beard now glitters in the light, Ivan is unsure whether or not he approves, but quickly decides that no one touches the beard and swings his bug squashin' mallet again.

The large insect is hit with the flames and catches fire. Losing the interest in the fight, the dragonfly takes a dive into the black depths, lighting them up on the way. And it is really deep. A moment later the fire goes out and it is dark again.

In front of you still lie the lily pads with the disgusting - or tasty - swarm of fat, opalescent flies hovering over them.

Arms crossed, Daseem watched the dragonfly burn. He noted the flames where pretty and he was almost sorry when they guttered out. Glancing at the lillypads and the gap to the other side Daseem felt the earlier plan wasn't such a bad idea...

Pointing to the rope he asked, "R-round two?"

I wonder if its safe to rest anywhere here? Daseem is just about tapped out as is Bupkis.

Ivan nods as the bug leaves, barely stopping himself from throwing an axe down at it out of spite. Then, once bupkis gets rid of the swarm, he chuckles.

Taking 10 on Acro to hop from pad to pad. Once on the other side Bupkis can TK the rope to me and I'll find a place to anchor it.

Bupkis is dubious about going much further right now. "Ewigga says many evil fey. Bupkis needs rest before much more fighting."

Nevertheless, he ties one end of the rope to the door handle, and, once Scrabbler is 20 ft ahead of him, hops across the pads to the middle of the gap. He gets ready to use his telekinetic powers to send the other end to Scrabbler.

Acrobatics, taking 10: 10 + 11 = 21

Bupkis can move 5 lbs/2 kineticist levels with Basic Telekinesis. I don't think we have enough silk rope for the entire distance; Bupkis can only move 50 ft of hemp rope, which is not enough for the entire distance.

Menrozzar looked across the gap, then sighed. "I don't see anything to tie the other end of the rope off to. There's no set of doors over there, anyway. Bupkis may be right - we may need to rest before continuing on."

Ivan gives a look to scrabbler at the question before grunting as he sits down.
In a sense I suppose ye right. Though likely not in tha' physical way. He looks around.

If'n we are bunkerin' down, I'll take tha' last watch, or two, sense one of our goblin friends seems ta' be sufferin' somethin'.

Also, if we are settling in for a rest, Ivan would happily take some goblin healing haha. I'll take the burn.

As it is settled, that a rest is the next thing to do the group takes a scarce meal of trail rations and then decides to take the tool shed, next to the elven woman's 'throne room' as a shelter for the night. It's dry, warm, a closed space with a door and no hostile creatures in it. Which is more than can be said of all other options.

The rest passes uneventful, if one ignores the snoring of the dwarf. But as he registered for two watches even those with a light sleep get some rest.
