Doubtful |
Is the halfling alive or dead?
Doubtful makes sure to relieve the unconscious Faroon of the key to the odd machine that got her in here.
"Don't think she's gonna be too happy to wake up in here." He adds, looking around at the decrepit boat in the strange extra-dimensional sea.
"Do we leave her to it, or drag her out with us?" He adds. "Probably come back to haunt us either way."
"Should probably torch this too." He continues, giving the troll another kick. "Will be up and angry before too long otherwise."
Make sure its not still regenerating!
"That strange fellow outside ain't gonna be happy." He intones, when it looks like Hrethnar's coming with them.
Could we disguise him? Or it won't much matter?
He'll make sure they drag the priestess lady they found on the way in, back out again.
"Will probably end up some sort of angry revenant if we leave her here." He mutters with a sigh. "For the next time they shove us back in this cursed place."
Forlorn Zamoros |
Forlorn grins even as the team makes their way back out. "Yeah, we should probably take that lady back with us, should she cooperate."
The little Pathfinder looks most awed by Hrethnar himself, something of a living relic that the man is. He seems barely able to control his mouth around him. "So, what's in Sevenfingers' tomb? What was he like? Think he's still alive? Are we going to fight him?"
"That wasn't nearly as bad as you guys made it out to be. Sure, it got pretty weird an' creepy, maybe I just found it better 'cause you've been through two more of these things. Can't say I'm sad to leave, though."
Jair Whisper |
I agree, she will be thankful that we save her from here. She could be of use and tell us what she saw that put her in this state.
Says Jair speaking about the woman without wits.
Turning to Hrethnar he says How could we use you to get to Sevenfinfer tomb ? Are you able to follow us outside this place ?
GM Z..D.. |
Looking down at Forlorn, he gives a smirk and shakes his head. "Well, you could say that I am some kind of key. These markings on my body are not by choice." He pauses and looks around his "Throne room", "Unfortunately, I can not leave. If I leave this magical place, the years will catch up to me, and eventually die. And then your key to Sevenfinger's tomb will be lost. No. I will remain here until that time you need me."
Helping the woman outside of the tombs instantly breaks whatever enchantment that was on her. She shakes her head, trying to loosen the cob webs. "Thank you very much. That traitorous Faroon must of left me here to die."
Any questions for the cleric of Asmodeus
Jair Whisper |
Know. (arcana): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
We will need to study your tattoo, as it seems they are the key to a door who opens only in a certain date or a particular event... But if you stay here, I'm sure Venture Captain Benari will send some Pathfinders to study your tattoo and help you catch up the event of the world that happens since your entombment.
I'm sure we will catch up soon Lord Hrethnar.
========= once outside ==========
We are not mindless assassin, and we care for our onw. As you can see, Pathfinders are better than Pirate, join us and the Dark Archive and you will see a life of adventure with allies and friends my dear !
But, since you ask, you can do something for us. Tel us how Faroon was able to get to the Spire ? Nothing we now can do such thing if not for an artifact or a certain date.

Dunkel Diggerson |
OK, so if I understand this, Hrenthar's our key, but we don't take him with us, we just leave him to stand here until we sail back in a future scenario?
Dunkel sighs as the Lengizen disappears.
"Ah truly did think ah wasn't gonna let 'im out."
Shrugging, he clasps Doubtful on the shoulders, urging him out.
"Nae too bad ah day, eh? Nobody died. No curs--.."
Dunkel sighs.
"Ah blast, ah did get cursed dinnae 'ah?"
GM Z..D.. |
Hrethnar nods at Jair, "And here I shall remain until that day comes. As I told you before I can not leave the spire."
---------------------------------------------------------------
The cleric pulls out a pouch full of herbs. "We had to drink this bitter tea. I do not know how Faroon go this stuff. But it made the pillars stop shifting for us after we drank it. She called it Gloomspire Tisane"
Dunkel Diggerson |
Dunkel nods, absentmindedly chewing a dirty nail from one of his stubby fingers.
"Aye, ah could go fer some..."
Dunkel pauses for a moment.
"Doubtful? Jair?"
He pauses for a moment, allowing his expression to fall blank.
"Ahhh! Ah'm not gonna eat ye both. Ah don't think 'ts awoken those urges again."
Dunkel does seem interested about the tea, but moreso about Hrenthar.
"Say, ah don't suppose ye can lift curses n' such?"
GM Z..D.. |
Remember it is both a curse and disease. So both have to be cured.
Jair Whisper |
I hope so my Dear! Says a smiling Jair to Dunkel before adding.
About curses, If we have time, I could try to save you my Dear Dunkel from the one you get fighting the mummies. But you will need to do some prayer to my Master.
After a day, Jair could change her spells to get remove curse and remove disease to try to cure Dunkel.
GM Z..D.. |
I am ok with that. It does something once per day. and he should be able to last a day with it. You are looking to beat CL 15 for both
Dunkel Diggerson |
"Aye, th' father o' buried secrets and acquirin' shiny objects form 'th earth, 'innit?"
Dunkel grins, his interpretation of Norgorber one that suits his dwarven sensibilities.
Some saves fighting the effects each day. These don't include heroism or any other non-innate bonuses.

Jair Whisper |
Jair follows the Reaper of Reputation aspect of Norgorber ;-)
After Dunkel pray with her, Jair calls for the knowledge of Curses and Disease of her Master to cure the dwarf from the Mummy's curse.
Remove Curse: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Remove Disease: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
At her first attempt, she manages to remove both curse and disease.
You had Faith Dunkel, and my Master answers your prayer.
Says with a smile Jaïr.
