I am making a preemptive apology to everyone with whom I am involved in games. My posting for the next month or so will be sporadic. For games I am playing, I will try to check in once a day. For games I am running, there may be gaps of a few days between moves. I ask that folks not give up on me.
This is convention season for me. I am scheduled to attend four conventions in the next month, one as staff. This means a LOT of prep time (as I am running at least three games at each convention, all of which I need to actually write).
Anyway, this is just a heads-up to let you know what is happening. If you must drop me, I understand. I would prefer that if I get behind, you just have my character do what seems logical. Thanks.

SO, we'll let the NPCs do what we think is logical?
Captain hands over the ship to me!! :D

Good luck with the CONs!
I am enjoying the campaign, so I will be happy to wait it out until your schedule returns to normal.
Just do me a favor and post a brief, "Hi, I'm still here" post every few days. Even if you don't have time to leave a full post, just knowing that you're still there helps maintain crew morale.

Satinder will just look at you funnily, seeing as you haven't gotten any crabs yet ;)

No, go ahead and post. If someone gets grappled or downed, we'll adjust. Should have a map up tomorrow.

Still here, waiting!
Alwen Gaelarean
Also still around. Remember, Whtknt did say his posting would be sporadic this month.
That said, no reason we can't have a discussion about our characters are developing the party dynamic. For example, though Alwen isn't actually trying to become a leader, he's been on a roll with his diplomacy checks with the crew. And pretty much making a large presence of himself on the boat. If and when we get a boat of our own, I'd think he'd make a decent first mate.
Satinder Morne
I don't necessarily want to become "captain", but I don't see Satinder stepping aside easily when the thing would come up.
That being said, Alwen as first mate and Chumtooth as bodyguard, she can live with that ;)
Satinder Morne
Satinder, captain!
Alwen, first mate
Chumtooth, boatswain (bosun)
Bangkha, sailing master
Dantes, Quarter Master
Ayaki, Ship's Entertainment (:p)
First Mate
Boatswain
Master Gunner
Ship’s Cook
Quartermaster
Sailing Master
Surgeon/Carpenter
...
Satinder Morne
Topless woman as captain, exactly ;)
And you are better at being the spymaster on the ship, the eyes and ears. Let the woman with the wooden leg be captain, you can have all the sex you want. ;)

Will pick up on Monday, as I am going to Pensacon (Pensacola, FL) for the weekend.

Two days to go before we put on CoastCon. This is the big one for me (as I am the Game Room Director). I will try to check in on games I am involved with tomorrow and Thursday, but may not be able to do so. I will not be on at all Friday through Sunday. I should be able to resume normal posting on Monday. Please bot me as necessary.
If you are in one of the games I am running, I ask that you remain patient and we will resume on Monday with a more regular schedule. And, of course, if you are in the Mississippi area, feel free to stop by CoastCon in Biloxi this weekend. We are a sci-fi/fantasy convention in our 37th year and our Gaming Guest of Honor is none other than Mike Brock (our Media Guest of Honor is John de Lancie)!

It was an awesome con! This was my wife's first year as Con Director, and for the most part, everything went smoothly. Everyone I've spoken to seemed to enjoy it.
Mike Brock (yes, THAT Mike Brock) was our Gaming Guest of Honor and spent every free moment at the Pathfinder tables, playing with the gamers. He was nothing short of fantastic! Terrific guy, as well. He had some great stories about GenCon and PaizoCon.
My wife, Gods bless her, put her money where her mouth is. Our charity is the Pink Hearts Fund, a group that provides wigs, breast prostheses, and other medical supplies to those recovering or suffering from various diseases, free of charge.
My lovely and kind wife stepped up and put her hair into our charity auction, taking bids to allow it to be cut. In the end, she raised $500 for the charity AND then donated the cut hair to make a child's wig! Since FB wants to be stupid, I have provided a few photos:
My wife in Starfleet uniform (we are members of Starfleet International, U.S.S. Neptune chapter, my wife is the one in the middle)

Yeah, glad to see they didn't take it all off.. That would have been a sight to behold :)
How much money was raised in general, if you don't mind me asking?

Side note: We waiting for players or the dm to continue?

With regard to the question of who gets their stuff back:
Chumtooth can manage without, so as a player, I am not worried about getting my gear back immediately.
Chumtooth may, on the other hand, argue differently. ;-)
Satinder Morne
Yeah, the rest can get by on their own. Well, except for poor Satinder. She needs a healbot :-p

Been very busy of late, but we are not dead. I will be posting a new day tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there.

I know it is a lot of work to run a PbP game, and I appreciate you doing it. By all means, take whatever time you need and we'll see you here when you are ready.
Satinder Morne
Satinder, still ready to go (again) :)
