Sheesh, this got bad fast.
I’m running under the assumption Thaddeus would have told Mors about the bludgeoning thing.

Mors finally shakes off his surprise. With a echoing bellow, his blade clatters to the ground as he rushes past Carson around the pit, drawing the morningstar from his belt as he weaves a prayer into his war-cry. Then he lowers his shoulder and slams the damnable snake-thing backwards around the pit.

I think I can accomplish this. Let me know if it’s not possible, but it's the only way I can think to get Carson out of immediate danger and Mors into position to be a threat.
Free action to drop bastard sword. Swift action to use Fervor to cast Protection from Evil on self. Then move up into melee (drawing cold iron morningstar as part of the move) and Bullrush the thing backwards, following it so that Mors can stay in melee with it.
Bull Rush, vs CMD: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

If that’s successful, I want to push it to the right (on the map). if the roll is good enough, I want to push it 2 squares right, with Mors following it to stay in melee range.

This provokes an AoO from it, and Mors’s AC is 20 (from Prot from Evil).

It occurs to me that an Overrun attempt may be more rules-appropriate (though less tactically sound because it still leaves Carson exposed). So if the Bullruush isn't possible, could i use that roll for an Overrun, instead?

Heading to Florida for the weekend. So my posting will be in the late evening until Tuesday

Similar with me. I'm leaving tomorrow to head to the in-laws place. Posting will be sporadic at best, but I'll do my best to check in as possible.

You guys enjoy yourselves!

@Mors: Let me know if my Carson rhetoric is too much; I don't want to dominate things with silliness, especially before the adventure really begins! Although I am a fan of the Aww, Hells.

Lol. No, it's awesome. Mors just has no idea what to do with it.

As a minor addendum, my PC is very inspired by Will Farrell's cheerleader SNL character with a hint of Buddy the Elf; just not too naïve to be a useless adventurer. That being said, I won't really hit my stride until levels 3 and 5 (when my dancing can actually Inspire Courage, then the Close Weapon mastery improving my otherwise low damage weapons).

And about attacking the one on Mors .. nah, let's see if we can keep one alive for information. The fact that he yelled about "spawn" and they were barricaded in makes me think they might know something we'd find useful. :)

So, what does this being a module have to do with you friendly-firing with AoE bombs?

Honestly, I am relatively confortable assuming Zerika just managed to cut the first tengu in half, and Mors has the second bound up nicely. There is little need to throw a bomb at all. You only have so many, so keep them until needed.

Agreed. Other than Zakon possibly being able to re-prep his one 1st level spell slot into Burning Hands or something (not saying he should), Demo Master is our groups only source of blasterosity. That's definitely a resource we want to use smartly. :)

Sorry, I haven't looked in Discussion for a while. Pretty much all it changes is that I have to suffer not having Precise Bombs for 1 longer adventure instead of three shorter ones. And yeah, I'll save my Bombs for special occasions.

Yes Friendly Fire is not allowed in PFS ruling unless the party agrees to it which complicates a bit of the abilities. Though you are close to precise bombs which mitigates a lot.

Demo Masta actually has my permission to Friendly Fire as long as he's being smart about it. Dropping them every chance he gets isn't exactly being smart, but there are any number of circumstances where it'd be the smart tactical move. (Mors is surrounded by baddies that a bomb is likely to soften up, Mors is tanking on something with awesome AC that we need to focus down quickly, etc).

I'm confident we'll work into a good rhythm among the characters. :)

Just like in real life, it takes teams a while to get a rhythm. We will all be fine, just have to adjust tactics to take into account what everyone is best at. I can channel after combat to take care of some of the damage, I just am not really a healer who can compensate for much damage. As a 0 xp, I don't have any wands. As a low int, I will never identify a wand. So, I have some major tactical limitations.

Given that we're now down 2 characters from our original team. We may need to reconsider our approach to combat. As in be WAY more careful.

Or can we have bot Zerika to follow behind and use healing wands as we fight? Cause ouch.

Poop, Carson got nerfed; the Exemplar Call to Arms ability (a fairly weak ability overall) now also replaces Close Combat mastery that would have boosted my weapon damage. Making me think of rebuilding him after this mission.
