"May the snows of the north knock you silly you malodorous git!" He holds out his hand, palm up. The air swirls into ice crystals and forms a snowball. Davosh then hurls it with an unpracticed hand at the witch. if it hits, she takes . She needs a DC 17 FORT save or be staggered for one round.

Vojtek attacks amidst too much cackling. He is a bit shocked to see a snowball sail through the air and makes a note to speak to the group about horseplay during combat. He assumes someone mistook the cackles for standard giggles.
Power Attack with Greatsword: for damage with for damage.
Davosh never finds out if his snowball staggers the crone or not, as the damage from it combined with Vojtek's fury end the threat!
Davosh pokes the witch a few times... Then he looks at the staff. His eyes grow wide. "Ali! A staff of weal this is! I know it's not your style, but it's an incredible find!"
He then holds up the ring, "Might any of you steel wielding people like a ring to provide a modicum of protection?"
He looks over the witch again, "Good riddance. You are a shame to your line, or rather you were!"
Kappi suggests Voytek takes the Ring of Protection +1. (his AC is pretty low for as much melee that he does)
The rogue starts checking out the double doors.
When everyone is ready Kappi will open them.
Be careful my friend... Cast Guidance.
Kappi checks the unlocked door and opens it.
Three tables occupy the northern half of this room. A five-foot-square extrusion with a small access door on its western face runs from floor to ceiling just south of the door Kappi has opened; just barely visible is a gigantic cast-iron cauldron in the southeast corner with wood stacked beneath it. A large iron stove with twin flue pipes running into the walls fills the southwest corner.
"Ah, I am rather peckish. Hopefully she wasn't cooking children...."
Davosh begins to search the room, checking for crunchins' and munchins'.
oooOOOOoooo nice! Too bad it won't double as a sword, but I'll still give it a go!

Kappi, learning from his past, does not let Davosh enter the room alone.
As the pair move in, the massive stove lurches to life, pulling away from the wall with its flue pipes dangling behind, belching smoke into the room!

The oven on the stove opens to reveal a fiery maw as it bites at Kappi!
The Varisian lad cries out as the oven door snaps onto him!
"GAH! The stove! It's going to cook us! We've got to hit it hard or do something else! Weapons won't work well."
With no useful spells, Davosh opens the big eye for a Misfortune Hex: DC 19
Out of all the strange and terrible things that has happened to young Kappi in his adventuring life, this is somehow the least expected and possibly the most terrifying.
Out of all the threats in the room the Varisian lad did NOT think the stove would walk over and attack him. He totally expected something aweful to crawl out of the stove or maybe something would pop outof the cauldron. But the rogue was caught very off guard from the stove itself!
What the what!?!
Despite the danger Kappi is in, she smirks. Quick, quick...SKILLET!!
She pulls out the new staff, and fires off two Magic missiles at it.
Vojtek's stomach grumbles and for the briefest of moments he imagines how a Kappi stew might be pretty good. Then he comessage to his senses and becomes infuriated that this stove has taken his little buddy. Vojtek has come to think of himself as a protector of the young man, and as such he can't tolerate this affront.
He runs in and attacks!
Power Attack with Greatsword: for damage
Ali uses her new toy!
Vojtek rages and charges in but, overwhelmed by hunger, misses the stove entirely!
Davosh successfully brings misfortune down on the animated object!
Round One
Kappi screams a little (maybe a lot), then goes into "terrified animal mode" and begins squirming this way and that doing anything he can to ecape.

Kapii struggles and fights, but cannot escape from the stove's, er, embrace!
Edward casts a spell on the barbarian's blade!
The animated stove seems to be working on the rogue in its maw!
The Varisian lad gets swallowed whole into the belly of the fire-stoked construct!

Vojtek drops his blade down to his side, the point resting on the stone floor briefly. He is unsure of what to do as he watches Kappi disappear down the stove's iron gullet.
Edward takes advantage of the Barbarian's pause to cast his spell on the Greatsword, and with alacrity Vojtek takes the hint and attacks.

Ali drops the staff, and draws her sword on the move--swinging at the stove as soon as it's in RANGE (see what I did there??)
Ali's blade hits the stove, but her arm goes numb for a brief second from the impact, and her sword leaves no mark at all!
Vojtek's blade hits as well, but the blow makes a vibration through the blade that his painful — not all of his sword's force seems to penetrate the steel of the stove!
Davosh cackles and moves (or moves and cackles, if you prefer)!

Since trying to worm and wiggle free didn't seem to work. The only thing the Varisian lad can think to do is try and cut his way free. He holds his blade in a reverse grip as he is awkwardly kneeling and gives it his all.

Kappi hacks at the interior, but finds his short sword cannot overcome the construct's hardness!
Edward, feeling helpless, moves his lifelike to the rogue!
Kappi remains inside, being chewed and cooked at the same time!
The stove attacks Vojtek with both its oven door and one of its free pipes!
Davosh's Misfortune has an effect! However, the smoke in the room gets thicker!

Ali tries casting Elemental Touch, covering her blade with acid

Ali misses with her attack, though her blade continues to bubble with acid!
Vojtek's blade hits and does some damage! His toothy maw hits as well, but instead of damaging the construct, the northman chips a tooth!
Davosh cackles madly, and tries to give Ali some guidance for her next attack! Unfortunately, he neglects to cast defensively and provokes from the black stove!

Edward heals the rogue, who tries but cannot escape the iron grip of the iron stove!
Kappi remains inside the oven, baking at an even 350 degrees!
The stove continues its assault on Vojtek!
Davosh's Misfortune prevents the barbarian from being grabbed!
Davosh sputters and coughs, but turns it into a cackle. He then casts Guidance on Ali again...
