Kern has his Prey on the big one. He can use an action to give his Flurry bonus (reduced MAP to Mikhail). One action to change targets. Otherwise, Hunt Prey and focus. If it ever comes to it, he's faster than most things.

I'm not sure where Kern's dodge comes from?

I think I confused him with another character. But I also forgot that Red was Frightened, so it's not a Crit either way.

Apologies for being away so long ... contractors were ready to start renovations early, so packed up everything including the computer that I was using for turns. With everything going on, did not get around to posting on here.

Folks. I am SO SORRY for not posting sooner. Life has gotten a bit hectic for me and the fam. We're all healthy, just having to double down at work (to include building a side-hustle now...**sigh**) with the current economy and have had little time for Pathfinder. :(
I think I will have to bow out of this game (and others) for the time being, but will keep this thread bookmarked for the future.

That's a real shame, Gary. We're going to miss you.

Heyo, my name is Cody, been a player or a GM for more than 10 years now, been on the boards for a few years.

Excited to play Kingmaker, definitely one of my favorite APs and am excited to see how it adapts to PF2E.

The character I've bandied about for this is: Fizz Moonberry, an excitable Halfling Oracle. Worships/Venerates Desna and loves the open road. He likes to believe that Desna herself granted him his Oracular powers in order to keep the open road safe, especially at nights.

I had penciled in creating a Champion (Cavalier), but if that will step on someone else's build, I can do a Ranger instead.

You are cleared to build your cavalier, Camris. That's not in anyone else's wheelhouse.

A cavalier seems like a good fit for Kingmaker. We are outdoors a lot if you try mounted combat. An oracle will be good. I do great on Medicine checks, but I lack the ability to aid as much as we occasionally need in combat healing.

It would also seem that I need to read the 129 page Guide!

I think starting Andor was what I had on my list for later, how is it?

If you loved Rogue One's story style, the more gritty, down to earth rebellion with less of a focus on the big legendary names its great.

It can feel a little slow but I've really enjoyed it. Its a more traditional story telling style and has a great climax. All the pieces build up nicely and the pay off is great.

So the new guys start with one hero point?

I feel like Noble Resolve might come into play a bit more often than Cloud Gazer...but Cloud Gazer really is a nice thematic extension of Elemental Eyes, and that would be enough for me to take it.

for what it counts, one of my magic items is a fog horn (Horn of Fog) which is a 1/hour obscuring mist, so Cloud Gazer would pair well if I ever have to use my Fog Horn

Fizz, Evindyl and Sir Esteban - Why are you in the Stolen Lands? More specifically, why are in the the Sword Marches (the player's realm). Do you live here? Are you adventurers seeking fame and fortune? Are you questing for something specific?

Are you all together at the start or has fate drawn you together on invisible bands of destiny?

The Clergy of Desna in Brevoy suggested Fizz head out this way to investigate the area and help secure the roads for travelers.

Fizz isn't an official member of the Church of Desna but the clerics can't deny that Fizz is very successful at traveling rarely traveled routes and setting up wayshrines in the most bizarre and far flung places.

His contact in Brevoy told Fizz about a new budding country creating new routes through the dangerous Riverlands and suggested he check out the area and help any wayward travelers he finds and maybe set up a few wayshrines along the way.
