As first Treble, then Eyden, make well placed strikes that would have crippled (or worse) most beings, these fiery beasts just seem to flow around the wounds, despite of the howls of pain that both make when the attacks connect.

Ohm-Eran steps back, "Help would be appreciated." His tone is deadpan, though his step is taken with all alacrity.
He stops just long enough to cast another Mental Block, this time on the other one.

Apparently, the mind of both beasts are child's play for Ohm-Eran to manipulate, as his spell affects it's target with ease. The fire on Treble also stops burning, but not before searing him one last time rather seriously. The Yellow-tinged one continues to flail wildly at Ohm-Eran, but it's aim is much poorer then it's partner and misses with almost no dodging on his part.

Oh, well. Nice to know it's possible to do, even if it is the only time it ever happens. :/
Knowing that discretion is the better part of valor, Treble valiantly steps back 5 foot step, activates his spring-loaded wrist sheath swift, and taps himself with the wand contained within.

Eyden steps away from the burning green creature and realizes he has backed himself into a corner.
"I think Elemenar had the right idea!"
The sylph considers casting a spell, then thinks better of it. Anything I could do would be as likely to catch Ohm-Eran as it would the elemental. Better stick to what's worked so far.

He unhooks his silver light mace from his belt and holds it in front of him awkwardly, as he won't be able to back away any further.

Throwing one last post today, so hopefully we can finish this fight (and quest) soon enough.
Treble's respite to heal is more then enough to recover from the fight so far, as Eyden shocks one of the beasts for a third time. This lightning is too much for it, as it roars for final time, before sputtering out, leaving scorched and burning grass in it's wake.

With one of the beasts down, and the other incredibly weak, ganging up on the last threat isn't difficult for the party. It does, however, connect with a spiteful final strike at Treble before sputtering into little more then soot and scorched grass. 4 damage and one last Reflex save, but Combat's over.
Afterwards, the site is quiet. As the party leaves the ruins, they can easily spot Yue Xin near the crossroads to the site, with a simple camp stool and a telescope on a tripod. Obviously, he was watching the fireworks display from here. Gesturing upward, he says, “So the letters of green fire invoke the sign of the Dog, eh? Dogs may be vicious gluttons or friendly allies, and the wise know to be cautious until a cur’s true nature is revealed. But tell me, what does the Dog have to do with the lost palace?” he finally asks, with a gleam of interest.
Hopefully, my next post should be the last for this quest.

Eyden eyes Yue Xin suspiciously. He followed us here, let us face the danger, then expects us to spoon-feed him everything we learned? Not today!
"Nice of you to appear now that the danger is over, Yue Xin," Eyden replies in Tien. "Perhaps the sign of the Dog refers to the loyal hound kept by the master of the lost palace? As foreigners, we lack the knowledge to interpret such signs. What do you think it might refer to?"

Yue Xin sighs and simply states,“Ignorance and choke-vines strangle the unwary.” And with that, he swiftly packs up his chair and telescope, and heads down the road for Changdo.
For the final section, Influence is not checked for Constellation. That also finishes this quest.
