GM Sarainy's PFS Core Campaign Season 5

Game Master Sarah Brogan

An open table for completing Pathfinder Society Core Campaign scenarios in a campaign format. This campaign focuses on Season 5 - The Year of the Demon.

Current Scenario: Scenario 1: #S5-08 The Confirmation

1 to 50 of 64 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | next > last >>

Hello all,

I am currently a player in a Play by Post (PbP) game here on the Paizo boards since the start of the year, as well as a weekly GM for a few real life friends via Roll20.net who have played together for 2 years.

However, I am looking to GM some more! Also interested in starting Pathfinder Society (PFS) play, specifically Core Campaign. Never done any PFS play before, either as a player or GM but would like to get my feet wet!

It makes sense to explain my plans:

PFS: This will be legit Pathfinder Society characters, with Chronicle sheets and the like.

Core Campaign: As I've never GM'd a Play by Post game before, and my knowledge of all the splat books is very sporadic, this will be a Core Campaign. This Paizo blog post explains the rules.

PFS Campaign: As you may know PFS works in a very fixed way regarding levelling and when scenarios can be attempted. Every 3 scenarios completed levels you up. This means you can totally plan out a series of interlinked scenarios, creating a sort of campaign of scenarios that work well together.

Open Table: We all know that PbP campaigns start with the best of intentions, but eventually people can't keep playing forever. Real life happens, things come up and players have to drop out. As such players will only be expected to commit for a single scenario.

At the end of each scenario recruitment will be opened up to cover any empty slots, but ongoing players who gel well will be given preferential placements.

I'm thinking of doing a blind "Yes/No" vote for each player by each player, both on current group placements and new group placements, so that the group can really be in charge of who they enjoy playing with.

Overall this will help to provide the ongoing campaign feel, without forcing people to commit to an incredibly lengthy campaign.

Posting Frequency: I am looking for people who are able to post pretty much every day at least once. If for whatever reason you can't, expect to be either 'quiet' in the scene or have a generic action taken for you in combat. Obviously longer absences should be explained in the Discussion thread.

I am based in the UK, so my timezone is GMT. I don't mind players from other timezones of course, but it is worth noting that most of my posting is done around 21:00-00:00 GMT.

Player Experience: Ideally I am looking for people who at least know the rules enough to feel comfortable playing. System mastery is not a requirement, and running Core Campaign should help with that.

My key requirement is a willingness to roleplay. I'm not interested in players who simply want to tick off scenarios and do nothing but roll dice. PbP has the massive advantage over live play that you can spend time crafting a planned and well put together post. I'm not asking for War and Peace, but I am expecting actual dialogue and in character banter.

I'm torn whether people should be allowed to join who have already completed a scenario. On one hand, it sucks that experienced players don't get to give some old scenarios a second chance. On the other, the open campaign means they could easily drop out for the scenarios they have done before, and pick up once we move on to something else.

Season 5: Known as The Year of the Demon the campaign structure will be built off using mostly Season 5 scenarios. We will be using the excellent campaign path provided by VanceMadrox.

20 King Xeros of Old Azlant (ALTERNATE)

This post has become long enough. Is this something that people would be interested in? Please do let me know!

I would be interested in doing something like this. The only issue I would have is I have characters that have completed The Prince of Augustana and the Slave Pits of Absalom campaigns.

*edit* Just realized, I haven't played any of these as CORE, if that matters.

I'd be pretty down for this as well. I've played a bit of core and have been enjoying it quite a bit, and have had an idea for a druid kicking around for a while.

In terms of scenario conflicts, I've played Frozen Fingers of Midnight in Core Mode before, so I'd have to drop for that one. I've played a small handful of the other ones on that list in 'Classic' campaign, but overall most of Season 5 is completely new for me and I'd be glad to let you know when those would come up and drop out for them if needed.

Sovereign Court

I'm interested in playing them as CORE though I admit that some of the adventures would have being played already or Earmarked by another character......

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Pathfinder Maps Subscriber

I'm interested. None of my core characters have done any of the fifth season scenarios.

Grand Lodge

I am interested in playing this as core, am an active player/gm so have run and played a portion of this but that is the point of core, to be able to do so again! I would most likely go with a core wizard or paladin depending on party needs and desires, but heck I enjoy playing just about anything!

I think as long as people haven't played like a sizeable number of the scenarios there isn't a problem.

The whole idea of an open table was to allow for a rotation of players as and when necessary.

The distinction between playing them Core or non-Core wasn't really the concern, I was more worried about spoilers or trivialising the content due to prior knowledge. It's impossible to tell how well people will keep player and character knowledge separate and it's something I would rather just avoid entirely if possible.

I have a couple of players from outside the forums interested in this, who are new to both pbp and PFS. One is in my Way of the Wicked campaign, and other previous campaigns. The second player has literally run through the Godsmouth Heresy with me and previous to that hasn't roleplayed in 15 years since we played Rifts...

The more experienced player is looking to play a Barbarian.
The novice player is looking to play an archer, possibly Ranger.

XenoCide78 what class/role was your character?

Zoomba what role is your druid?

I had planned on a druid. Mostly being a support caster/healer with capable damage. Going to continue thinking it over though. Might do an Aberrant or Fey bloodline sorceror instead. Leaning towards Fey.

Oh nice new posts while I got distracted mid way posting!

Thanks for the interest everyone.

Ira Kroll, what scenarios have you done non-core? Also what characters would you be putting forward to play with?

Alister de Mori, same question really! What have you not done period?

Wizard or Paladin both seem fine at this point, we have a prospective Barbarian, Ranger and Druid.

I've played about a fourth of those with standard characters. I am quite good at partitioning that off from my current PC, so no problems. But if you would rather I could just not play during those scenarios.

The only one of those I've played in Core is Confirmation. But it is evergreen so no issue.

I would start a new Core PC for this if selected. For some reason, I'm actually leaning toward a paladin dragon disciple since I've never done one of those before.
Or hmm... maybe a bard skill monkey.

Jonathan Hunt wrote:

I was thinking a caster-focused druid, likely more of a battlefield control type with a bit of summoning thrown in. Leaning towards domain over Animal Companion to try something I don't see as much.

With this type of campaign he could even be from a family of Sarkoris exiles, playing up his connection with nature and summons as a manifestation of communing with the spirits. And with a Worldwound focus, he might even be able to strike some blows for the homeland! :)

I've played 1 through 4, 6, 8 through 12, and 15. But, I'm pretty good at compartmentalizing and would be careful to avoid spoilering.

Currently I've got a Monk 1, a Bard 1, and a Monk 1/Fighter 1 hybrid wrestler. But, I'd be happy to start a fresh alias -- Perhaps a cleric.

Sovereign Court

IRL friend signing up with my unplayed ranger.

I am interesting on this idea as well.

From Core I have only played level 0 scenarios, and most season 5 scenarios I haven't played even on Normal (just Confirmation and Port Godless).

I am also interested on the Open table concept as it let you step aside for a time to get some rest.

And rather than a character based recruitment I would be interested at a Campaign start based on gathering a good group of players (this is a good mixture of personalities, experience and noob enthusiasm), and then come up with the proper roles for each player, this is, making a balanced party composition. A concept rarely exploited in PFS which can give a very nice 'pathfinder unit' feeling.

I'm interested... And have not played any season 5 adventures.
I'll have to build a Core character, I'm thinking a skill monkey which means a Rogue in core.

As for me I'm a long time D&D player who's GMed and played every version of D&D and some Pathfinder. I've played a few Pathfinder PbP games already, and am currently working though season 0 of PFS in PbP here.
I'll throw together a Core Rogue and post it here.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Switching over to the new GM alias.

ElterEgo: I'd prefer if possible to have people new to scenarios, especially as it appears there are already quite a few people who have not had an opportunity to run them at all.

The exception to this would be The Confirmation as it's such a commonly played scenario I don't think it's really fair to gate people out because of playing it.

Love the idea of a dragon disciple paladin, not something I have seen before!

Zoomba: Been itching to play a druid myself, and with a Barbarian and a Ranger a caster type would be good for the group so far.

The Sarkoris exile background is a really cool angle, it would be great to have it built into your backstory. Obviously the start of the campaign focuses around Absalom so as long as your character isn't itching to get back instantly all is good.

Ira Kroll If I understand you correctly that means the following are the 'campaign' scenarios you have yet to play?

Spoiler:

2nd Level:
8 Slave Pits of Absalom (ALTERNATE)
5-04 The Stolen Heir

4th Level:
5-22 Scars of the Third Crusade

5th Level:
5-03 The Hellknight's Feast
5-15 Destiny of the Sands, Part 2 - Race to Seeker's Folly

6th Level: Everything beyond this point

Is this correct? You've played all the scenarios I have removed? If so I think you would be a valuable addition once we have got to level 2 :)

Little Tom: IRL player signing up. Hope you guys understand that Tom and my other friend have guaranteed places for Scenarios... they are one of the main reasons for this happening.

Yet I'm okay with a party size of 6, so there are still a number of slots available and it doesn't shut down anyone looking to play similar roles!

Balacertar: Thank you for the interest. Yes the open table concept is something I am excited about. Justin Alexander of The Alexandrian blog talked about the idea and it interested me greatly.

The idea of character based recruitment and a group of skill levels and classes, with the party voting on who to keep or bring into the fold of characters looks to be really positive. I'm going to ensure it's a blind voting (because I think it's friendly that way) but it should really help to ensure a stable group of players to drop in and out of scenarios as necessary.

ScrubKai: Thank you too for your interest. I'll be interested to see your rogue, they can be tricky to create well in Core it seems.

Hi guys,

IRL friend here playing a barbarian. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to this so I do hope you can bear with me. Played some pathfinder before but never in a play by post so it should be interesting!

Yes, I can wait until level 2, since my wrestler is there now. Just make sure to PM me then if there is space at that level.

Mami: Hi! And don't worry about PbP. It's definitely a different way to play, but a pretty fun one, and Paizo's forums are the best I've seen for it

Ira Kroll: No worries I'm making a spreadsheet of people interested and will keep you in mind for the level 2 scenarios!

Zoomba: You're totally right, this is a very friendly community... play by post is a bit odd at first but it's so freeing in a lot of ways.

Okay so it looks like this has really taken off. I am pleased.

Character Name: Oktavian Valdemar
My Character Sheet
Race & Class: Human / Barbarian
Roles for this story: Melee dps / semi-tank

Character Backstory:

Backstory:

Oktavian Valdemar was once a noble son from a relatively minor but wealthy household favored by the royalty of the land. While out on an archaeological expedition one day however he stumbled across an ancient cursed artifact that drained the sanity from whomsoever touched it, leaving them as a crazed husk whose limited intelligence led them to fiercely defend the tomb until their death. Upon touching the artifact, Oktavian killed the rest of the archaeological crew in a mindless frenzy.

Awakening several days later, Oktavian found he had regained his sanity thanks to the passing of a priest of Desna who attempted to break the magical hold over him. It took many weeks of meditation, divine treatment and solitary confinement to truly break the hold of the curse over Oktavian and he felt comfortable walking the streets again.

Oktavian's noble family however had been informed of the massacre of their archaeological team. Upon his return to their household, he was apprehended by the guardsmen and thrown into the jail beneath their basement to await judgement.

Furious at the injustice yet wracked with guilt, Oktavian was horrified to feel the raging beast within him rise up and fill him with the unnatural strength he had been afflicted with from the curse. This time however, thanks to the mental training of the Priest of Desna, Oktavian was able to maintain a semblance of self-control.

With his newfound strength he easily broke the shackles binding him and fled the manor, disappearing into the wilderness to never be seen in civilization again for some time.

Oktavian despaired at the level of guilt he suffered - though he was not aware at the time, the memories of the murders he committed came back to him in horrific nightmares. Years passed while he lived among the trees with a solitary shack to call home, where he found his inner rage a powerful weapon against any creatures that would dare to cross him.

The Pathfinder society caught wind of the hermit living within the forest and his strange behaviour, eventually dispatching a member to investigate. Upon finding Oktavian, the Pathfinder representative was surprised to find him a cultured and civilized individual, talented with the violin and compassionate towards those whose lives were threatened.

An invitation to potentially join the society was extended, which Oktavian was happy to accept. He reasoned, after some thought, that perhaps this 'curse' that led him to kill those innocents several years ago could finally be used to do some good. In fact, he hoped that perhaps this could redeem him and finally free him from the nightmares that plagued his dreams.

Arriving at the Pathfinder headquarters still wearing the tattered remnants of the nobles outfit he once proudly wore, Oktavian returned to civilization once more to begin his long road to repentance. Though a monster still lived within him - a bloodthirsty and merciless creature - Oktavian had tamed it well enough that he could prevent it from doing evil. He hoped it would prove a powerful weapon for the Pathfinders - he now bore the curse willingly, seeing it as his comeuppance for his previous misdeeds.

I have not played this campaign either core or non-core before.

Confirmation you have read and agreed to the rules: Yes

Just a note, if you have ran The Confirmation before, that doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. I just wanted to get a feel for how many of the party had done it or not!

Grand Lodge

alright looking at the list honestly I have played the majority of it, however having gmd and played living greyhawk and been a coordinator and being a four star gm having run alot at gencon for twenty plus years I think I can keep player knowledge to a minimum and rp to the max

Okay sounds good! Please post an application if you wish to be considered for the first scenario, The Confirmation.

Since he graduated the first level classes he has returned to Absolam where he continues to work as an alchemist in his parents shop as well as look for a new adventure to take when a person wearing a strange device called a wayfinder walked into the shop and did some recruiting Alister thought that sounded just fine and agreed to take their test.

I would submit this for consideration

Character Name: Hootie Bell
Link to Character Sheet: Hootie Bell Char Sheet
Race + Class: Halfling Barbarian
Roles for this scenario: Tank/DPS/Comic Relief
Character backstory:

Have GMed and played Confirmation before. Both Classic and CORE mode.
--------------------
Background Story
--------------------

Hootie Bell :

Small in Size. Big in Heart. Bigger on the Chest size. Even Bigger in Temper is Hootie Bell. She doesn't take well to insults and is likely to fly off the handle on the smallest of things though she's learnt to curb her excesses since joining the Pathfinders.
Make no mistake, her heart is bigger than what her size would suggest, her care and concern for her fellow companions is something one wouldn't make a mistake though she loves battle as well. She considers them fun and yet can't explain them for lack of better word.

Nevertheless, one would find a fine companion in her. She does have an interest in Ancient History and their long almost forgotten languages.

--------------------
Appearance
--------------------

Hootie Bell Appearance:

Small in Size but her chest challenges her best efforts to restrain it and her striking red hair makes Hootie a standout even amongst her fellow kind.
Tight vest over her considerable assets with long leather pants that do nothing but accentuate her slender legs. Red hair groomed but with the ocassional feather marks her exotic good looks. Her iris reflects red sparkles but it seems natural almost draconic.......
A small backpack over her back, morning star and sling attached to her backpack within easy reach with greataxe being carried in one hand. A long travelling coat tied around her waist, covering the back of her legs yet not so much to entangle in case of fast movement.

Grand Lodge

Character Name: Vetis Istul
Character Sheet: In this profile!! (Pending)

Race & Class: Human (Kellid) Druid
Roles for this story: Battlefield support/Healing.
Character Backstory:

Spoiler:
At the beginning of his years-long training with the Pathfinder Society, Vetis Istul was not exactly ecstatic at the prospect. Actually, that was putting it mildly. While some young lads and ladies in his class had grown up dreaming of joining the infamous Society, for Vetis the thought of it had never been more than yet another family tradition he could not understand.

His grandmother had been the first Pathfinder in his family. A pair of agents had escorted her and her sisters out of Sarkoris right before the first crusade, sparing them whatever fate ultimately befell their village as the ‘Wound’ marched across their land. The young girl never grew out of her starry-eyed awe of her saviors, and marched to join the Ustalavan lodge as soon as she was strong enough to wield an axe. That same zeal was passed down to Vetis’ father and older sister, with both seeking their wayfinders once they came of age.

But Vetis diverged from his clan, taking more to his Taldan mother’s culture and temperament. The young man grew up roaming the forests and gardens around Oppara, nurturing some latent talent with spellcraft he had discovered inside him. His father and sister were good people – at least the increasingly scant amount of time they were home – but their drive to fight and roam was something he himself could never quite understand. No, a more contemplative life suited Vetis just fine.

And then the letter came. It was brief, consoling but simple. Vehtis supposed that in the end there were only so many ways one could say a person had died, no matter how fantastical the mission they had been on might have been. His family’s death did not surprise Vetis. Not overly much. Pathfindering was, after all, a “dangerous profession”. But what did give him pause was the size of the support that emerged in its aftermath. Food made, bills paid, a funeral attended by hundreds in a crowd that spilled out of the small chapel in their neighborhood. Hells, even the funeral itself was a minor miracle, for his father and sister’s fellow adventurers had managed to bring their bodies home for burial (from Jalmeray of all places!)

Through that night, Vetis received condolences from men and women he had never even heard of before, much yet met. Yet each of them had their own story to tell about his kin. The time his father had fought off a werewolf trying to maul their bard. How his sister once was so eager to explore an unearthed tomb she almost tripped over a napping basilisk. Each mourner had a tale, and each tale was filled with genuine love and friendship and loss. It was an eye-opening experience for young Vetis: for the first time he was exposed to a side of the Pathfinder Society that was not all about battles or grave-robbing or vague adventures but was instead about teamwork, cooperation, and mutual growth.

It was an intriguing revelation. And yet even still Vetis was as surprised as anyone when he approached the Opparan lodge weeks later and found himself inquiring about becoming a Pathfinder Agent. He told himself at the time it was simply a good deal to receive some training and explore new glades and vistas across the Inner Sea. But deep down he sensed that this could be a chance to be a part of something, and Vetis was curious to see how such a thing would go.

Rules read and understood :)

Wow it really is hard to make an effective rouge out of core. I am probably going to change to a bard/archer.

Grand Lodge

The best rogue core wise usually goes str and a big two handed weapon and then takes weapon focus second lv rogue talent along w power attack 3rd or 5

Thank you all for the interest and the characters.

Here is a link to my spreadsheet of interested players. If you see anything wrong for you, please do let me know.

Also we can't run Siege of the Diamond City, the introduction scenario to Season 5. Pretty lame, it requires 5 playing tables which is obviously impossible for us :(

ScrubKai:Yeah, as I said above they can be really tricky to get right in Core. I made a Core character myself of each class (in HeroLab only) just to see what worked and Rogue was so hard to not suck with.

Playing a bard archer in an Iron Gods non-PFS pbp at the moment. Only level 5 but it's really fun!

Alister de Mori: I can't see on your character sheet any spells picked. Have you not decided yet, or simply overlooked them?

Also I'm assuming you have done The Confirmation before, right?

I have played Confirmation.

I will have my paladin that is heading for dragon disciple posted by saturday morning. I like to post in the forums for build advice.

I'd be interested in this as well. Is there a deadline for submitting characters?

ElterAgo: Brilliant, glad to see you apply :)

Rakh Rubina: Yes the deadline is the end of Sunday (12th July).

Here's my character submission for the confirmation.
Link to Character Sheet
Race & Class: Halfling Bard
Role in the story: Support/ Party Face

Backstory:

Come around the campfire. come ye persons all
Sit and hear the tale of peculiar fellow small
Born and raised in yonder lands of street performers numerous
Had to make it by his own ( by being rather humorous)
skilled in swanky and beat and rhyme
raised in song, it was only a matter of time
before the path came calling

be a bard!
be a bard!
Succumb to wanderlust and walk your way around the world
be a bard!
be a bard!
Record your times of joy, sorrow, fear and courage

And thus he put on his walking shoes and trod up to the lodge
a life of boring confinement now he would dodge
"sign me up, i'm itching for an adventure!"
"hold on now i'll take you to a captain most venture."
And as the halfling finished his application
a document upon which was written "YOUR NEW LOCATION"
and thus this bard is now around, now in absalom!

Alister de Mori: Brilliant, thanks for letting me know - and for picking your spells :)

orionbasher: Ooo a bard, nice. Another halfling too! Really love your backstory song, very nice. You have an armour bonus listed, but no armour mentioned... assuming you purchased leather armour?

Yea I'm using leather armor. I'll put it in later.also I've played confirmation before, but in non-core.

Liberty's Edge

Character Name: Jerry Laseten
Posted as the alias
Race + Class: Half-Orc Cleric
Roles for this scenario: Healer and tank
Character backstory: Born to an Iomedean, Jerr, although looking very orcish, was gentle and was brought up in a way that he wants only to help others. His large size and general fitness made him perfect for front-line duty, but his general temperment made him unfit for the more militant paladins of Iomedae.

Have you played The Confirmation before, Core or Non-Core?: Non-Core
Confirmation you have read and agree to the rules: Yes

Orionbasher: Yep no problem! Changed your info on the sheet

Ira Kroll (Jerry Laseten): Nice thank you for the character, have updated you on the sheet. I see you have a Wand of CLW 50/50 listed. How were you able to get one at level 1, has this character played other scenarios?

Rakh Rubina wrote:

The deadline of Sunday 12th is only for people interested in joining The Confirmation.

You can apply to join for future scenarios, and I'll message you as and when games start to see if you are still interested. That applies to everyone :)

Grand Lodge

And now for a very different take on a Bard. Something I want to try out.

Character Name: Narnel
Race + Class: Elf Bard
Roles for this scenario: Scout/Archer

Description:

In the shadowy corner of an inn a figure sits quietly drinking his ale. Most people pass by not even noticing him for he seems to have the knack for sitting and not doing anything out of the ordinary. Those that do notice him pass him off as just another traveler as he is an average looking humanoid in travel stained clothing.

For hours he sits just watching the crowd.

Only when the Towers game across the common room threatened to turn violent did he leave that table. As the argument grew more heated he calmly walked to the bar and started drumming his fingers on the bar and playing with a wad of wool. The sound of ghostly drums suddenly filled the inn and brought the argument to an abrupt stop.
As people looked around in confusion the elf began to sing. He sang a song of homelands lost and battles forgotten. Of friends left behind and dreams forsaken. The song drew every eye to his young form. How long he sang most could not say, but by the time he retired to his table the argument had been forgotten.

As the blonde elf grabbed his backpack and bow stave his song had turned to a haunting hum that somehow reminded each person there of love lost. By the time the young elf exited there was not a dry eye in the house.

It was only much later that the innkeeper realized the elf had never paid.

Age 116
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 121 lbs

History:

"Focus Youngling!" The sharp retort brought Narnel back from his daydream of being one of the Tangleguards.

He looked up and saw his father staring intently at him.

"How will you ever carry on the Tradition of preserving our ancient lore unless you Focus?"

Narnel lowered his gaze in shame.
"I cannot Sir." He mumbled.

"Do not mumble. You must always speak firmly if you are to teach our kin the lost lore.
Now attend: The artifacts looted by the human Barbarians before the founding of Kyonin are as follows....."

Narnel tried to focus, he really did, but the sun just looked so inviting outside the bower. If he listened closely he could hear the thrum of the bowstrings from the guards practicing far below.

Oh to join them he thought wistfully as he unconsciously reached down and felt his short bow hidden beneath his seat.
Soon the lesson would be over and he could quietly sneak away to "study". Although he had to be more careful, two moons ago his brother had almost caught him as he tried to place a second arrow in the upper knot in the tree.
It was only by the thinnest of margins that he had hidden the bow and gotten back to his books before Elros had entered the clearing.

The writing desk in his hand was suddenly thrown to the floor.
“What exactly are you doing!”
His father was standing over him with his pointer raised poised to strike again. His eyes immediately locked on the hand that was resting under his seat.

“What is this?!” his father exclaimed yanking his unstrung shortbow out from under the seat.
“You dare bring the tool of a mere warrior into this home! Not to mention one made by a talentless Human Barbarian?”
He cracks the bow stave against the wall to emphasize each point. “How many times have I told you that will not be tolerated! Our family has a long tradition of archine exalance. I will not see our honor sullied by having a common thug in our midst.” Unnoticed by the older elf, the stave snaps near the grip as he continues to pound it against the wall.

“Get out of my sight, and do not return until the morning. At which point we will speak of this never again. “

Narnel ran from the room with tears in his eyes.

Hours later Narnel’s face was still red from the tears he had shed.
All of his life savings had been shattered in one moment with the careless swings of his father’s hands.
It wasn’t fair, he should leave, just run away and hide he should….

Narnel stopped for a moment and a thought suddenly occurred to him. In one fell swoop he would hurt his father back for everything he had done. He could break the family tradition and sully his father’s precious honor in one fell swoop. If he took an outfit from the guards and became a lowly merchant guard, his family would never live it down.

And so that night he visited the guards again. It wasn’t uncommon for him to be there so they thought nothing of is visit. It was not until the next morning that they noticed the missing, short sword, Longbow and training armor.
By that point Narnel had been on the road for hours.

Over the course of the next few months he made his way across the world, having hired himself out as a caravan guard, a scout, an entertainer or simply stealing a meal and sneaking into a barn for the night. Life was rough but he was free and always moving farther from Kyonin and the prison that that his life would have been.

It was only years later that he realized that being totally alone is not much of a way to live. Moving from place to place with only his bow for a companion was empty. He needed direction and a way to gain access to the teachers who could truly teach him how to use his bow as it was intended to be used.

As he wandered the city of Absalom he came upon the Pathfinder lodge, and realized he had finally found what he had unconsciously been looking for. A place to belong, a place to Explore, a place to learn but most of all a place to be free.

Grand Lodge

Confirmation I have read the rules: yep

Thanks for the character ScrubKai :)

For everyone else, you have about a day and a half to submit your character for 5-08 The Confirmation.

We currently have 8 applicants, and I'll be running a game of 6 players. Should you not be picked for this game, we will soon after be running 4 The Frozen Fingers of Midnight and the party is likely to shift around a bit.

@GM Sarainy

Hey, just curious about character sheets,

I usually tend to use a Google.doc sheet for them. Would you prefer them typed out here on the Paizo character pages?

Thanks. Sorry for all the questions.

Asarnil would like to join in if at all possible. He completed one pathfinder mission (The silent tide) and is a core character.

Edit: I don't seem to be able to write anything on the spreadsheet, is this just my problem or does it mean there are no more places avaiable?
