Kaeso? Bingo? You guys still around? We're about to see some action, and we sure could use you!
Dris won't get a silver weapon for herself.
Are there options to make Purrcy's claws count as silver or magical?
And can I get them done "in time"?

I was thinking this would come up soon.
First of all, I must congratulate...us....for what is probably the second longest running Pathfinder PbF I have participated on. And if not, certainly one of the most colorful (in a good way).
Second, in the past some players have approached me quietly and I must say very nicely about perhaps exiting the campaign at a non-disruptive point, when a suitable replacement can be found. I am not noting that this is what has happened now, but we are kinda at a slow point where people may go and come.
Posting rates are down, and while that happens in PbF games as RL jumps in, it seems to be a sustained table-wide effect right now.
So, I thought I'd check--is everyone still having fun, really?
I take no offense at all if you aren't anymore. I'm a sensible GM, you are good players, but we may have hit a "meh" point in the campaign that I think requires a moment of thought. I personally am still having fun, but it does take time to build everything out.
My perspective: we have so very little time to have fun and game. I believe that when the game has become less fun, it's time to pick up the pieces and get out something new to play.
All that said, if y'all are still having fun, we'll carry right along, and the low-posting lull will eventually give way again. There's a long road ahead for the characters, and it gets pretty weird before it's all over. Sadly, most of the great story doesn't occur until books 4-6.
But if you are not having as much fun as you once were, just pipe up here (or just PM me, and I'll keep it anonymous) and I suggest we stop the campaign, shake virtual hands, and carry on in new adventures in other threads.
Also--if the only thing keeping you in the game is the "what happens?" for the plot, I'd be happy to just abandon the Pathfinder rules altogether and go diceless for the remainder, a choose-your-own-adventure style. That would speed it up considerably.
Thoughts?

I really enjoy this game, and I really enjoy you as a Gamemaster. I miss our friends who've stopped playing too. I was hoping Bingo was going to be able to stay in. And I really like Drispeera, who I've played before and ended shortly into book 2...
I can actually play faster, I just didn't want to bulldoze everyone else.
I also really like the Kingdom Building aspect, but I thought it was bogging things down.
I think if I had my druthers it would go like this...
We recruit 2 more players.
We play combat as normal.
But for things like searching and knowledge checks maybe we get a handwave if we say we're searching thoroughly, or checking with knowledgable NPC's. A few times I felt like we were close to something but we rolled poorly, or no one had the necessary check.
And for Kingdom Building, we handle it separately on the discussion page. People can just give the jist of the things their characters want and we figure out the details outside of play time.
So, yes, I wanna move the game forward, and I want our characters to grow, and I wanna see what happens.

Yes Kaeso is back!!!!!!
As for the above question yes I live this Rp. I wanna see it through to the end. As for recruitment maybe we need just 1 more player.
As for the kingdom building its fun, and lets us see the fruits of our labor. Plus we do get to do more stuff right! Cause I want to see Ionnia grow and get her faith going strong and make her a powerful religious force to be reconded with

Hello All!
I'm Apocalypso/Drispeera's friend, Doug. I just wanted to drop a quick note introducing myself and assure you all I've been hard at work milling through character concepts.
I think I've settled on something workable and will do my best to quickly finalize a character outline for GM Nel's clearance.
Hope to be joining you all soon!

Hi Doug, Welcome!
I'm in Florida with wife and kids, and so might be slow to be respond. If we get in combat, just have me do something impetuous and noble, if you get tired of waiting for me.

Hey all,
So as stupid as this sounds, I was out on vacation for a week, three weeks ago, and literally forgot about this for the past few weeks after getting back. This got me thinking, and honestly with all I have going on right now it's probably for the best that I bow out as GM for this campaign.
My wife recently finished her nursing degree, and we are in a whirlwind tour of finding her a job which may or may not be in our local area. So lots of things going on, and some extracurricular activities have to be cut. I've already cut my f2f PFS games quite a lot for the same reason.
I am very, very sorry for the silence these past weeks.
I had some great times, from playing for a bit to having to step up and run it. I learned a ton about PBF, and I did have a great time when I was able to keep up the pace. To Dris and Kaeso especially, thanks for staying strong with me. To Ionnia and Doug, sorry we didn't get to play longer.
Hopefully the time we had together was fun, and I do not see it as "wasted time" at all. I had some great laughs, and hopefully provided some entertainment, which was what this is all about.
If a GM is found and wants to take over, please be my guest.
Thanks again,
Carlos
