No, but there are listings from Adamant Entertainment that appear to be PF conversions of several 3.5 base classes.

I'd like to post interest with a Peri-Blooded Arcanist.

Background:

"...And that's how the principles of expansion work in the confines of Jagambe Theory. I believe this indicates a new flaw in the armor of that theory and is something to be further pursued."

Kayle bowed with a smirk before the board of three. There was a thundering round of applause. Professor Cladius had a tear in her eye. It was the most profound advancement in magical theory since the re-discovery of Sheriliea's Formula. It would force current magical theorists to consider their ideas in a new light, one where the traditional magical theorems were no longer true.

Of course, that was the dream. Kayle was, in reality, still just a Journeyman. Her last paper on Pre-Starfall Magickal Formulas had been laughed at. Of course her research was thorough. Of course she had double and triple-checked everything and yet...so much was speculation. That, however, would be the last laugh she'd listen to at the damned academy.

She leaned over the ship railing and smelled the ocean air. Soon, she would be in the Expanse and from there..well from there she would start learning first-hand. She was a scholar, but there was a time for every student to look into magic first hand.

Here's my submission, let me know if there's anything I need to add or add to :)

Background:

Born in Kalsgard in the fridged north Greer grew up a half breed, son of an Ulften and a Tian prostitute. Barely cared for by his mother and never knowing his father, he found the cold wastes warmer than his house. He left that cold home to live in the wilds, climbing the cliffs around to scouring them for rare herbs and treasure. One day, while climbing, he noticed a young women walking alone, behind her was a wolf stalking her for a meal. Rushing his way down he slipped and slid his way to her only to be attacked by the wolf. Her animal friend he found out later.

They married two years later.

She was struck down by fever a year after.

Greer keeps their plain copper wedding bands with him, one his finger the other on a strong cord around his neck.

Greer is going as far from his home as his money will take him, leaving the sadness behind him for a fresh start. Somewhere warm, some where that snow never falls and ice is distant image.

Description:

Just under six feet tall, Greer is powerfully built with corded iron for muscles and stone for bones. Years of rock climbing have developed thick scars on his hands, making them almost as tough as the stones they grasp.

Greer makes friends slowly, but is loyal to all. Unless given a reason not to trust someone, he takes things at face value, his word is bond and he expects the same of others. Greer often steps into the middle of things to slow them down, often with a variation of “why don’t you pick on someone your own size!”

Greer uses few words, often answering with a nod, grunt or a single word. Some things do not need an epic poem to say. Reared as much by the wilds as his mother, he doesn’t care to speak until he has “the lay of the land” so to speak, weighing other’s words, like a miller with the grain.

I'm going to bow out -- unfortunately, the character isn't quite coming together in my mind as much as I was hoping (though I suspect I'm primarily feeling that way because I was taking too long and the alias crashed out, losing the backstory I'd been typing up...)

Good luck everyone and have fun!

@ Kayle Inkblood: Seems that everything's in order, added to the list.

@ Aleris Somciel: Also added!

@ Scott Williams 16: Added as well!

@ Tilnar: Sorry to hear that! I know I should type up my background stuff in notepad or something, or at least ctrl+c before submitting, but it happens. If you get a sudden burst of regained creativity before Sunday night, feel free to submit something! Otherwise, good luck in the future. :)

Dark Archive

I was thinking of submitting a ninja to use as a character raised by Red Mantis but determined unsuitable because of his lack of E-vil (thinking LN as his actual alignment). Would that concept be acceptable? I ask because if not I also have an idea for a Mwangi Oracle that I could submit as well.

@ rooboy: Either sounds fine to me!

This is Deliverance from way earlier. Ive yet to hash out personality and the like, but if it helps to get an idea about the character, he is very loosely inspired by Udyr from League of Legends.

He will take equal levels of Monk and Fighter for the first 8 or so levels, before continuing pure Fighter from there. The Monk levels will be with the Master of many Styles Archetype, aquiring Crane Style and Dragon Style.

Thats it for now, will try to get the fluff done before the deadline.

Changed race to human, modified feats, still working on some of the crunch but fluff is all done.

"Mmph," the elf groans as he rolls over after his short nap aboard the Jenivere. He looks over at the small sapling standing in the corner of the room. "What do you think, Sticky? Almost there?" The treant simply cocks his woody head to the side and blinks. "No, I suppose not," Silmarye answers himself. Ah, but it is often said the journey and not the destination holds the most excitement and value. But I am certainly looking forward to the destination; all this water and not a single green thing around!

You didn't respond to my post, just wondering wether the caharacter has been noticed and is alright (this is the character, so you can check everything in the profile)

@ Lionel Russ: Cool, I'll add you to the partially completed list. Do get a background written out, but in the meantime I'll go remind myself of what Udyr's lore says. Crane style seems like a good (and equally annoying to fight against; EDIT: oh, I guess except for the recent nerf to crane style...) representation of that turtle shield. ;)

@ Masabi Honokami: Sorry, I missed you in my response post, but I do have you down on my Word-doc list. Everything looks in order. :)

@ Kayle Inkblood: I know you said you're still working on the crunch, so maybe you're aware of this already, but you appear to be using the first version of the Arcanist, rather than the revised one. That said, I'm already considering 3rd-party classes, so feel free to use whichever one you want.

Oh dont worry, I dont currently intent to take more than the basic style really. Since I dont expect to get power attack until very late, taking the -2 to hit for +4 AC seemed worth it...and also a bit reminiscent of Udyr :)

GM can you post a current list of the applicants? I think you had one listed by class.

The current applicant list:

I haven't included interest dots this time, but y'all still have until Sunday evening to submit something.

EDIT: I forgot to add Nosgrim, I saw that you added the background and such earlier. You're there now, sorry!

Rabble rabble rabble!
Meh, still need to finish inventory either way. That 300gp trait is allowing for a lot he didn't have before.

I don't know about you, but I think every party needs a Bard....think of the buffs you'll get, not to mention free entertainment after a hard day killing beasties.

With my Zest for Battle I'd say a bard and their morale bonuses are indeed always needed.

GM mechaPoet-> After losing my last entry and being just too frustrated to go back to it, I'm repurposing a character that I loved from another campaign that died -- originally, the goal was to make him a rage prophet, but with the new playtest classes, I'm shifting him over toward bloodrager.

Here's a link

Have I been forgotten from the list?

@ Tilnar: Looks good, you've been added to the list. Sorry about your frustration earlier, but I'm glad you were interested enough to get something else in!

@ Viluki: No, I just listed "Jenthia" instead of "Viluki." Well, technically I listed "Jenthis," but I realized that was a typo on my part and have corrected it on my side.

No worries gm

Sovereign Court

And now we wait in anticipation.

Would it be possible to get a a deadline? Preferably one counting hours from the reply post (due to time differences and such)

Would be kinda sad to sit here typing out alot of background, only to miss the deadline.

Thank you. What is the party size going to be again? How will people know if they are chosen?

Sovereign Court

I'm guessing the GM will post up a list of the players he's selected or he'll announce results and PM the players selected. There maybe other ways but we'll just have to wait for the announcement.

Also I'm wishing everyone good luck in being selected and should I fail to get in, a hearty congratuations to everyone who did get in.

We might be able to play in a game together, Nightdeath! :)

I can provide a deadline, sure.
Deadline: Have your application posted (crunch optional) by 6pm PST. (~8 hours remain)

I will send out PMs ASAP after the deadline, and will post my selections in the thread.

8 hours, hopefully I can get it done.

Also, we don't have a roleplay test, you just select people based off of their feel?

Yikes, this weekend ended up being far busier than I'd expected. I'll see if I can get my character together in the next 6 hours :)

All done, except for appearance, because honestly, I don't know what a typical undine looks like and the website I like to use does not give a picture.

Im all done etc.. Good luck to all the entry's..

All done, even appearance, though google shows mermaids instead of undine, not very helpful, I just read up on what their appearance should be.

The D20 PFSRD lists the Undine stuff from the Advanced Race Guide, which include a physical description section, if you want to take a look at that. Anything that indicates a humanoid with water elemental influence will probably be fine, though. Undine

so do we just head over to the discussion on a completed submission? Or is the discussion for the chosen?

Discussion is generally the OOC for the active campaign. So yes.

Nosgrim is correct, please do not post in the Discussion thread unless you are selected for the game.

Okay, Ridge here. Not sure if I made the deadline or not, I had guests and plague both visit so I got a might delayed.

Adular is an Inquisitor of Shelyn. Full story is in the profile under the crunch

Looks like I will be a little too tied up to finish off a submission to my satisfaction.

Good gaming everyone, I wish you a long and epic campaign!

Liking most of the characters, and for those of you who I won't see, regardless if it's because you don't get in or I don't get in, wouldn't mind seeing the characters in another campaign or another serpents skull.

And have fun.

Whew, mostly done now. Havnt quite hashed out a personality description, but basically he likes fighting. He patiently waits for a good reason to do so, but once the gloves come off, watch out! His Lawful alignment is mostly descriptive of a "keeps to his word." and "follow the code." more than any regard for the laws of nations.

Just thought I should throw in a little bit, until I can get in a proper description.

All right, recruitment is now closed. Due to the high interest, I have decided to run two tables. They are as follows:

Group 1:
Siri Quinray
Paulinus Ratarian
Aleris Somciel
Kenton Blackridge

Group 2:
Gathien Toran
Kayle Inkblood
Silmayre Leafwalker
Lionel Russ

I will also be sending out PMs.
Group 1 will use the gameplay and discussion threads attached to this recruitment.
Group 2 will use a separate campaign, which can be found Here.

Thank you all for applying! If any of the players I have selected decline or no longer wish to participate at some later date, I will extend invitations as necessary to the applicants here first.

Grats to those who made it. Have fun!

Congrats to those who made it!

And darn nice of GM Mechapoet to run two.

Quoted for truth.

Congrats everyone.

Happy gaming!

Good luck and have fun!

Gratz to those who made it. Please don't PM me if someone drops out.
