WRONG ALIAS

I forgot to mention, we already have a scroll of Restoration. We can go ahead and use that on Valaria now and then scrounge up some money for Isilme's restoration when we get a chance.

That awkward moment when your browser eats your needlessly large recap post. :|

Summarizing the bulk of the story it is!

Also, I think we should have enough for Isilme's restoration as well.

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Per the cash spreadsheet (which is up-to-date!) you guys have 3050 gp in commendation and appraised valuables- so 50 gp short for diamond dust for a Restoration.

You could of course sell something to make the difference.

---

In addition, Sosiel only has 2 spell slots for level 4 spells, so I'm assuming you're going to restore Ary and Ehren tomorrow morning. You can of course, pay for spellcasting from a different cleric for Hinagiku. This would cost 360 gp.

If I'm not wrong, we can sell my wand of magic missile for 180 gold. That'll afford me 130 spare gold and allow us to restore Valaria and Isilme's Con drain, plus one negative level on everybody.

Why can't we just wait to go anywhere until morning on the third day? You know, so Sosiel can restore us all he can?

Just making sure you guys didn't want the option to clear your stuff out faster! (in exchange for $$$... er stuff you have that you can liquidate into $$$)

Anyway, I've added a new resource to the campaign tab - I went and catalogued every single NPC in the campaign into a single reference document with a brief description of each. They're listed in alphabetical order, though ctrl-F is your friend. There's a staggering 167 NPCs listed on there - 21 pages of NPCs! Sheesh.

I've learned some stuff making that document also. For example, I have a disproportionately large number of NPCs whose names begin with the letter 'A'. Also, not a single NPC so far has a name that begins with 'P'. I suppose I'll need to fix this at some point ;)

Hm. I actually can't believe I didn't ask about this sooner, but Ary's question reminded me. If it isn't too much trouble, could a Rosetta Stone be added to the campaign tab at some point? Just so we have a reference of what languages we're using for what, for the sake of consistency.

Hahaha, that's actually a really good idea ;) Would have been a good excuse to bust out a vigilante.

Alas, the villain was conceived before the vigilante playtest was even available, so I didn't even consider that :p

Work-related update:
Hours last week: 11, 11, 11, 10, 10, 8, 8. For a running total of 69 hours. No day off until maybe this sunday. I won't know until wednesday or thursday... I think.

Feet are better. Got clog shoes (specifically crocs), which are helping that and my back a -lot-.

We wouldn't have to work so much if our machines worked more often, or if we could meet quota. Another person quit in my 'cell' (what each of the small groups that do a specific thing are called), which apparently happens very often. He was selected for a random drug screening and told them not to bother, he'd just quit.

This means we've been trying to train in new people... and also means that I'm doing somethign I'm bad at, which adds to stress - I can see our numbers not making anything good and it's causing an increased sense of hopelessness.

Yesterday, we worked just missing a person. We did remarkably well, considering that three of our most important machines were screwing everything up. Bright side: I got to do what I was good at. Down side: Those three machines are what work the part into the right shape, meaning I was bending every single part by hand... multiple times, until it fit properly.

As for 'downtime' we get about an hour of breaks, or something like that, so I can at least read posts and such from work during those times. If I were less scrupulous like nearly all of my coworkers and just didn't care about quota, I could very likely read all the posts.

*Mumbles something about Saturday Morning Cartoon Morality.*

Tangent to the above: I make so much money now. Not like 'went to college' money, but... two weeks is my old monthly income. I went ahead and rewarded myself for not murdering anyone by supporting this Dark Souls game.. I'm getting all the things except retailer exclusives... which I will later also get.

I blew so much money on that. And I'm not even a little sorry. So many minis.

Plus... Sif and Artorias!

Though you reminded me... I got my diploma on Sunday. I'm officially a college graduate now!

Federal US law doesn't require any mandatory breaks, so it varies from state to state. In my state, WV requires employers to give their employees at least 20 minutes of mealtime break if they've worked at least 6 hours.... and that's it. Very generous haha.

Buffs | Char. Sheet |

OMG, here its 30 min lunch plus two 15 min breaks for an 8h day with I think 15 min break every two hours above that.

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

Hahaha, yeah, most workplaces adopt something similar (though less cushy). You usually get somewhere between 30-60 mins unpaid lunch for an 8 hr shift, then 1 or 2 15 minute breaks interspersed around there.

That's not required by law it's just a decision made by the company to not hate their employees.

But, for example, it's considered normal in WV for a retail pharmacist to work 12-14 hr shifts and receive no break. Because WV law doesn't actually say you have to stop working during a break :p And according to federal law, if a pharmacist is not physically in their pharmacy, the pharmacy must be fully locked down.

@Valaria: Congratulations on diploma-cy! :) What sorts of jobs are you looking to get?

@Hina: All of those breaks are paid breaks spread throughout the day, and there's a 30 minute unpaid lunch break as well.

My old job was 8 hour shifts with an hour long lunch break, as a reference. (And lots of paid time of doing nothing, even though I could have technically been scrubbing everything ever if I wanted to just stay busy).

Also, I made a mistake in my writing last night... tired. The vivisectionist calling her 'Pathfinder', suggests that he is not a Pathfinder, and considers himself to belong to a different group.

Regardless: @Writing Majors: I don't know a ton about it, but I have seen tidbits posted on Paizo's forums about how to land a job with them. You probably have already been told most of this stuff... but it doesn't hurt to share what I do know, in case they haven't shared it.

1: Write. Then write some more. Then write some more. Do a lot of writing... and then write a little bit more. Get critiqued along the way by someone you trust. You'll get much better at writing in this way, but more importantly...

2: Portfolio. Every 'liberal arts' degree, and some technical degrees, need a portfolio. Even self-publishing something that mostly flops is better than having nothing under your belt.

3: Get your foot in the door. This applies on two fronts. Paizo tends to hire people who have a background in what they're hiring for. So... pick a smaller publishing company (remember, Paizo started as a 3pp!), and work for them. Do as much as you can and learn as much as you can. Second: Develop a rapport with someone who works at Paizo. There are several threads where writers/developers hang out and/or do AMAs. Becoming familiar to someone inside will help a lot, especially if they start liking your work.

Other than that, dunno much.

The ball of darkness flies across the room, towards the baby demon, spreading across the creature like a viscous liquid. It binds the creature's limbs and movement so that it has difficulty moving, and drips down off of the creature slowly.

I'll use binding darkness, throwing it at the dazzled baby. If it hits, the creature is entangled for 2 rounds.

WotR Global Buffs/Debuffs: ----

That's a relief <3

Anyway regular 'ol 9-5 shift today... if folks are around during the daytime please don't wait on me to resolve combat stuff before posting to keep stuff moving :x

I'm hoping Ary gets a chance to pre-roll, also :)

Then I get to see Isilme for the weekend! Whee :3

I should be around throughout the day... a bit.

I'll definitely get something up before I give up on life, though. Maybe sooner, rather than later.

Ragglefraggle. Errands complete. Bed soon...

Akshuns:
If Isilme continues to attack or states that the creatures should be killed... and there is another light source in the room, Ary will release Radiance and draw the longbow, before firing a cold iron arrow.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 9 - 1 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

If not...

"We need to find a way to subdue them." the possible scenarios didn't look good, regardless. Weapons covered in baby, souls permanently destroyed... or new demons introduced to the Abyss.

Noticing that the platform is getting crowded, he then backs away from the cauldron and slips past his allies, moving for the staircase. If I'm reading the map right, three spaces over, and one up.

Okay, so I just realized a very silly way two abilities Val's going to have interact. I have Precise Throw, which gives me level to damage with my starknives, but it also allows me to spend a point of Panache to ignore all range penalties for one attack. I'm taking the limitless range mythic power that multiples my range by five and means I have no maximum range tier. That means Val can technically throw a knife at literally any range and take no penalty for the cost of only one Panache.
