Okzat Tanzan |
Okzat raises his Katana high triumphantly, having scared them all away with his mighty blow. "Are there any more?" he asks, cockily.
Directed to the last one, he moves forward and swings around the corner.
Katana, PA, IC, cover: 1d20 + 5 - 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 1 + 1 - 4 = 20
Damage, PA, IC: 1d8 + 6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 3 + 1 = 11
Confirm, PA, IC, cover: 1d20 + 5 - 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 1 + 1 - 4 = 5
Damage, PA, IC: 1d8 + 6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 3 + 1 = 14
"Take that you furry bastard!"

Prizm fires a magic missile, Fhlangorn deals good damage and Okzat follows him up with an equally effective killing blow!
After healing, the party continues to search the complex. they find an office.
Two desks facing each other occupy the center of this room; each covered with stacks of reports, maps, and other pieces of paperwork. A large map of Nirmathas hangs from the north wall.
After investigating the piles of paperwork on the desk, you find enough evidence in the theft of Guaril Karela’s goods, as well as in the rumor campaign against the Pathfinder Society in Tamran. The PCs also find a thick bundle of bloodstained faction mission notes written by Guaril Karela and taken from members of the now-defunct Sczarni faction.
You also find a couple letters see slide 9.
Guaril is thrilled with the party's success. He asks "What did you find out about the Aspis plot?"
Prizm |
"They were framing us! And people didn't like the pathfinders much to start with - but their actions made them pretty mad".
Prizm will show Guaril some of the letters that were recovered.
Having a hard time reading the slides due to my mobile.. sorry
Poncho Rodriguez |
"You want the whole enchilada? Those documents tell the story of how the Aspis have been disguising themselves as pathfinders and meeting with the Molthuni. They've also been using the church of Razmir to prop up this mysterious "MG" as some sort of religious hero. From the detailed information, it's possible that there may be an Aspis mole within the society. Does the name Zurnzal ring a bell to you?"
Poncho turns to his allies:
"Did we find any....badges?"
Slides are hard to read on desktop too. Hope I read the signatures right.
Prizm |
"Badges? Badges? We don't need no steenkin badges!" says Prizm as he giggles out loud.
GM.Kashka |
"excellent work! This will be exceptionally helpful.
Now - I know many of your instincts are to hand this over to Tolal... but if you give it to me, I can make much more use of it beyond clearing the society's good name. I am certainly better connected to track down Zurnzal and Madreki.
What do you say?"
essentially it is a vote - give the evidence to Guaril, or VC Tolal.
Fhlangorn Spiritrock |
"I think that Pathfinders are uniquely qualified to track down further info Mr. Karel a. After all you needed us for this mission. Therefore I vote for handing the info to our VC Tolal."
Zavra Tuskless |
"You seem to be the one that has the most invested in this region, I am sure you will put the info to good use." Zavra is happy to help the smuggler.
Prizm |
Okie dokie!" - Prizm nods up at Zavra.
Okzat Tanzan |
"The information should be handed directly to the proper authorities - within the Pathfinder society. They will do with it as they please. If you choose to be amenable to assist the Pathfinder Society in this - so be it. But it is the Societies choice whether to take advantage of your extensive network, not ours"
GM.Kashka |
vote is tied 2-2. Next vote breaks the tie and ends the scenario.
Fhlangorn Spiritrock |
"I heard Bert say he's for the VC!'
Bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
GM.Kashka |
Guaril Karela thanks you for handing the information over.
He uses it to blackmail Captain Vaylorne and gain a powerful contact within the church of the living god. He provides Venture-Captain Tolal with enough evidence to clear the Pathfinder Society’s name. The people of Tamran mostly blame Molthune, but a few remain suspicious of the Society.
