Prizm |
Prizm moves around the building and nods at Bert with a stoic yet gnomey look. Reaching to his belt, he retrieves a wand and waves it at the militia.

Prizm watches at the tall human shoots his new half-orc friend.
Frowning inwardly he climbs over Okzat's body while invisibility cloaks his tiny form. The gnome raises one finger and covers his eyes looking slightly away.
"رذاذ اللون"
As a blinding shower of rainbow hues envelopes the militia man.
Prizm then blinks his eyes rapidly as he snaps into visibility.
"Oh I hate the way that spell makes my eyes blink...."

"Nicely done Bert! First you bag a wolf in the jungle, and now an evil priest? You should teach these burly types some of your moves! Oh and Poncho, can you tie up that militiaman?"
GM.Kashka |
Between Augusta, Poncho and Prism, cure light wound wands are pulled and cast on each person. if you have one feel free to start rolling them. Okzat doesnt have one yet
The party finds a masterwork chainshirt, masterwork quarterstaff, an iron Razmiri mask and an unholy symbol of razmir on the priest... as well as a potion of cure light wounds and potion of invisibility.
On the militiaman there are 2 smokesticks, a potion of cure light wounds, tindertwigs, a longbow, arrows and a Razmirian religious pamphlet.

"That sure was fun! I got to disappear! Did anyone see that?" realizing too late the irony the gnome laughs inwardly to himself while petting the combat veteran bird.
GM.Kashka |
Everyone is full except Augusta
Poncho: you recall that Prizm heard that Ramizan worship is banned in Tamran.
what will the party do with the militiaman?
Prizm finds no clues to the location.
Augusta Undermountain |
"Could someone heal me please?" Augusta says in the most polite tone she can muster.
Zavra Tuskless |
"I've got you Augusta," replies Zavra, oddly cheerful even after nearly being killed by an arrow a few moments before.
CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
She surveys the scene, concern creeping into her demeanor. "Now what do we do with these two? If we bring them to the Pathfinder lodge, we risk more problems with the local authorities. If we call in the authorities, we know they already don't like us and they may find the worst possible way to spin this story."
"I suppose if the city currently has more issue with Razmiran priests than with Pathfinders, we might as well be forward with them; though not before we question that guy."
Okzat Tanzan |
Okzat shakes the fog from his head then stands, a bit groggy. Reaching for his Katana he sheathes it then bows in thanks to his comrades for their assistance in his revival.
Poncho Rodriguez |
"You're forgetting another option--we leave these two tied up in the town square for Tamran to find in the morning. We leave them with their masks and holy symbols and we leave them with a sign that says 'bandits' or 'assassins' or what have you. If we do this, then the Pathfinders aren't implicated and the authorities will have a hard time putting a spin on things."
Poncho will kick dirt at one of the tied up Razmiri.
"Or we could just kill them like the dogs they are."
GM.Kashka |
When checked, the robed priest is dead.
If questioned, the militiaman denies any knowledge of the thievery nor "secret base". He is only here to kill enemies of Nirmathas. ie. you from his perspective
Poncho Rodriguez |
To the militiamen:
"That doesn't sound very convincing. If you want out of this mess you'd best give us something useful."
Taking 10 on sense motive for 20
Zavra Tuskless |
"So are you saying this was all just a misunderstanding? We are here to kill the enemies of Nirmithas too! But I am curious why you were working with that guy toting all the Razmiran colors, aren't they also officially enemies of Nirmathas?"
Prizm |
"It really feels like we could work together and deal with the Nirmathas people. Perhaps we could talk with some of your constituents and arrange a cooperative front and resolve this quicker?"
Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Prizm smiles widely at the captive. "If we could align, we could do away with all these confines!"
The gnome shuffles slightly. "Please?"
Poncho you are totally an enforcer lol... Capone!
GM.Kashka |
The soldier refuses to negotiate with Zavra, calling her a liar. "submission to the living god is the only way to end the war with Molthune and bring peace to Nirmathas." The party gets no further information from him.
The party returns to the lodge to rest. If any healing were needed, Oraiah offers her services.
The next morning, Guaril returns to the lodge.
“I hope you uncovered some information, my friends,” says Guaril as he applies a dab of wax to his moustache, “For my investigation was only partially successful. My sources tell me that the filthy weasels stealing my cargo are hiding in an abandoned fort. Which fort, they could not say. I would have learned more, but some men…they cannot tolerate pain, eh? Sadly for us, the Nirmathi abandoned many forts after the last Molthuni invasion. These four are our best bets.”
Guaril hands the party a map see slide 6
Zavra Tuskless |
"it is most like Fort Ursoss, though we may as well cross the bay and check out Fort Drejas as well. We know they are using the river, that they are dealing with traversing some marshland, and that they are most active south of the city."
"Need another subject to practice your techniques on?" she casually motions to the militia captive as she hurries to compare his maps with her notes.
Prizm |
Prizm yawns - "If we are going to go to a fort and play with more bandits... can I get some rest and study my book?"
Zavra Tuskless |
Zavra get's excited, "I just woke up from a great night of sleep, but I help study! What are we going to read about?" She drags her bag closer to the table and starts rummaging through for note books, maps and her formulae book.
GM.Kashka |
Guaril motions to a lackey to take the prisoner.
Zavra and Prism do their book thing. Where is the party going?
Prizm |
Kn Local on the fort that makes the most sense: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 2 = 32
Looking up from his studies, Prizm yells "EUREKA!"
The gnome flips his mastercrafted book around and points at a spot on a beautiful map.
"We go THERE!"
GM.Kashka |
Prizm recalls...
"Thefts? I don’t know nothing about no thefts. I know about receiving stolen goods though, and I ain’t about t’get locked up on no fool charge like that. Some Varisian feller come by wanting to buy up mah vermin repellent, trying to barter off some potions or whatnot. But I sees the Glyph of the Open Road on ‘em, and I ain’t about to touch no Pathfinder stuffs, so I tell him to shove off. Boy that got ‘im real mad. He was itchin’ up a storm, he was! Must have been living in them marshes, where them skeeters live.”
Fhlangorn Spiritrock |
Fhlangorn pulls out his divining rod forked stick and says, "Follow me! I know the way to the swamps!"
GM.Kashka |
After further deliberation... Prizm also recalls...
“Two weeks ago, while my men and I were patrolling along the edge of the Fangwood south of the city, we spotted a group of bandits attacking a smuggler in the woods. We gave chase, and tracked them as they fled west, but lost the trail when they hit the river. I don’t think they simply forded or swam; I’d bet good money your bandits have a ship capable of sailing up the Marideth River.”
Zavra Tuskless |
Zavra puts her head in her hands, clearly frustrated with the slow minds she is working with. "Like I said hours ago, 'it is most like Fort Ursoss, though we may as well cross the bay and check out Fort Drejas as well. We know they are using the river, that they are dealing with traversing some marshland, and that they are most active south of the city."
Prizm |
"I tend to agree Zarva, I just needed to gather myself. Let's head toward Fort Ursoss first. I hope everyone has their dry socks!" says the gnome smiling.
With that Prizm starts to gather his papers and urge the languishing group toward the fort.
