Yon Li'l |
Yon helps Janira up, then watches as Vala falls before the Minotaur does too.
"Bring me the wand!" he shouts as he checks on the wounds of his companions.
Agriver Rall |
As he finishes the minotaur off and sends it to its grave, he quickly moves to give Vala the healing potion he had in his keeping.
Spyridon Andronikos Joachim |
Spyridon makes his way across the log, slowly and carefully, pulling out the wand as he makes it across.
"I've got the wand here, is everyone awake at least?"
Yon Li'l |
"Do Rbuod and Vala look awake to you?!" Yon snaps out.
Rbuod is at -2,
Vala is at -4 (I believe)
Janira the Bard |
The party heals its fallen warirrors with the resources at hand.
"Thank you so very much for saving my life! that Beastie was truly a handful. Did you manage to complete your mission? I am going to start setting up camp seeing as it is so dark. We will head back to Absalom in the morning."
Robin L'il |
"Well, not exactly. We did find a Gillian, but he weren't particularly talkative. Guess Spanky musta said sumthin' offensive to him. He was sitting in the water, in a little pond, with a model of Absalom in it. Mebbe he was praying to it, I don't now. Don't rightly care, neither. But,mi gots me some good notes, which I will share with you later. "
He walks over to Spanky, and grabs the wand. "If you ain't got a mind to use it, I will!"
clw wand: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
"There you go, little darlin', how you feeling? "
clw wand: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Rboud
He scratches the she-wolf on the head when she wakes up "There you go. You'll be right as rain soon enough. "
Robin L'il |
"Janira, here's my journal. You are welcome to take a read. I think I got everything in there. I was probably the only one who did."
Robin report:
Into Kortos Mounts.
attacked by snakes. Paladin useful there. Killed ‘emTrailblazing slowed by undergrowth. Made to caves, but Vala got tired. When at cave, attacked by bull-man… probably a minotaur.
In caves, found pit. Bad trap, could easily see. Spikes at bottom, and some sorta cloak. Spanky hasn’t told us what it is.
Remember to ask Spanky about cloak.Found cave drawings. ancient, about Aroden. Isn’t he dead?
Artist paints
Merchant trades coins
Shepard herds
Thief steals.Wow… insightful.
The paintings described rituals which made our hands tickle and stuff. Might be helpful later… dunno
You can paint the city to make it prettier… that’s an artist I guess.
Give a coin, take a coin
Herd the frogs off the city
steal stuff.That’s it. Really helpful.
There was a gillman there, he had a cloak. Agrivar gave him our cloak, which looked the same. Damned fool of a gillman didn’t say a word, and only listened to us when he was looking right at us. Idiot!
Traveled down the caves to the right. Dead fish people stood up, and attacked. Was a coupla skills, and a coupla zombies. We killed ‘em dead again. Damned pale-faced vampire-kin was trying to raise himself an army of undead, but got hisself killed by them. Fool. Maybe the gillman would like to know this. Maybe the durned fool will actually talk now.
Oh, and the dumbass necropunkass had himself some magic armor and a magic ring. Maybe he shoulda spent some of his money on a pearl of power… could a kept him alive. Then again, then we’d had to kill him too then.
Went down a corridor on the opposite side. Ran into a couple of kobolds or something. They had a trap, of course, but it didn’t do much. They died. Gotta tell my brother not to block my line of fire.
Just as we heard Janira’s voice, we saw a couple of big blobs. Think they were amoebas or something. Stupid teammates kept jumping in my way, taking away my clear shots. Janira’s storytelling stopped about the time we finished off the blobs.
Ran out of the cave, saw Janira fighting the minotard. Its axe was all busted up, and smaller, evidently. She must have done something. However, the foolish halfling tried to disarm the beast, and of course failed. We started to shoot or otherwise engage, and she threw a tanglefoot bag. That was a good move!
We closed the distance, but not before Janira, Rboud, and Vala were crushed by the beast. My arrows had their effect… unfortunately that oaf of a paladin finished it off. I will never hear the end of it.
We saved everyone, which was good. Still don’t know what the gillman was doing there, but do I really care?
Vala Tinkersmith |
Vala shakes her head and stands up, seeing Robin. "Thanks" She smiles. "Bit of a headache. Couldn't say it to the horse's face. But yeah, those muscles were tanky."
Vala turns to Janira. "You're up. Good. Was worried about you. Glad you survived that beast. Not sure what exactly is going on in that cave though. One nice - but very quiet - gillman. And several... not so alive, but now re-dead, were undead, gillman."
Janira the Bard |
"I am sure Master Shaine will be very impressed Robin. Unfortunately i cannot read in the dark - so perhaps tomorrow."
Robin L'il |
"Janira, doesn't your wayfinder produce light?" Robin asks in a mocking tone.
Agriver Rall |
"If in fact it does not, my lantern is at your disposal Janira. When we are ready to proceed, please let me know."
Agriver cleans his the gore off his blade, and then drops to one knee and recites prayers to Iomadae quietly to himself.
GM..Kashka |
The party enjoys a quiet return to Absalom. Upon receiving your reports, Master Shaine compliments Robin on his note taking.
Your Confirmation, being a success, has enabled you to graduate and become Full-Fledged Pathfinders. Your respective Faction Leaders congratulate you and present you your Wayfinders as your badge of office.
Janira the Bard |
"Congratulations Pathfinders! I am so happy to have been along for your momentous ride!
I also have something for you... This note came to the Grand Lodge and Master Shaine directed me to hand it to you. Good Luck!"
Master Kreighton Shaine,A disturbance has arisen here in the Echo Wood. The Emerald Spire is abuzz with activity. The Magic auras are astounding. Please send a team of Pathfinders to me immediately - I am too old to go dungeon delving. (The usual financial arrangements will be honored of course.)
