Character background
Iolyn is wears his world-weariness beneath a cloth of hope. His scars run deep, and he’s had few friends in his life - but, to those who are true boon companions, he’ll be loyal to the death.
Iolyn’s skin is pale, beneath midnight-black hair, and the pupils of his eyes are unusually large. He’s tall, but his pose suggests discomfort, as if his full growth were not quite attained, and his eyes flicker constantly, and his body pushes beyond svelte and into sparse. A small, brightly-coloured thrush stands on his shoulder, chittering quietly, comfortingly.
Born in the Mieranni Forests of Varisa, not far from the forbidden, drow-infested city of Celwynvian. Drawn, perhaps, by the taint of drow blood running in his veins - Iolyn as a young elf once played too close to that ancient ruin, and for a time became their prisoner. He was lucky, at first, not to be sacrificed in some dark ritual, then sold into the slavery of a not-unusually cruel drow wizard. In the decades that followed, Iolyn learned much of magic as he cleaned his master’s chambers, prepared his meals… enough, in time, with a little luck, to escape.
His long-simmering hatred of drow led him into the academy of arcane arts, a path to great power and the destruction of the drow - rejecting utterly his former master’s interest in foul necromancy and beguiling enchantments. His past, his hatred, the taint in his blood and the foul brand he bears on the back of his hand… these things made him unwelcome, and his time there was lonely. After, he joined the forestwatch, keeping guard on the forlorn city, sometimes fighting, more often watching empty walls. In time, he began to accept his own ancestry, to deal with the terrible things that had befallen him, to grow weary of the long war between drow and elf… and so to leave, to seek a new life on a new frontier, on the far side of the continent, where the trouble nation of Brevoy seeks to open new frontiers…

Hi Helio
Here is Den, the ultimate generalist druid with a love of community and the strength to protect it, sent by his gnomish mentor to help the fey.
I have deliberately left him as an open book so that his gentle and kind personality can grow with or be tainted by the campaign and actions of the rest of the party. Myself I play in several games, just started a 5E game set in Greyhawk and try to post daily where I can.
I see Den as best suited to act as a secondary warrior, healer and wilderness expert. Long term he could continue as druid providing nature's spells, which should be useful in this adventure?

Graduating from under Master Cairsson's tutelage, Meredith moved back to Eagle's Watch, but felt uncomfortable. She'd been called a noble for her entire life, but never felt as if she were one. Living in New Stetven during her training had only reinforced those feelings as she was able to openly see how the ruling family lived on occasion. Learning of an expedition into the Stolen Lands, she has decided to see if she is worthy of her "noble" lineage, and perhaps carve a name out for herself, as well.

There actually isnt that much competition its more the list isnt as specific as it should be. IE no support, Ranged, Melee (Yadda, Yadda). So it looks inflated, considering Skald is included even though it has buff spells and Versatile Performance with Bardic Knowledge for Skilled. As wEll as Magus, which is clearly a caster.

For DM reference, I'm probably going to be changing the Inquisition that I gave to Khargol. Not any major change; it's still going to be one that allows me to use my Wis instead of my Cha for the social skills and the number of those are very limited (Conversion, Heresy, and Reformation I think) but I haven't completely decided Heresy fits the character the best. At first glance I think it might but I want some more time to think about it. Either way, the build would be the same as it is now. Thematically Khargol is still going to be a half-orc who values law and order above all other things.

Type: Skinscarred Elves are humanoids with both the Elf and Orc subtypes.
Size: Skinscarred Elves are Medium creatures and thus have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Languages: Skinscarred Elves begin play speaking Common and Elven. Skinscarred Elves with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Draconic, Dwarven, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, or Sylvan.
Offensive Racial Traits
Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a Skinscarred Elf is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, he can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins dying.

Elven Immunities: Skinscarred Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

A talented monk takes a number of abilities from many sources. These are known as Edges and Talents.
Monk Edges x 3
Basics: The monk’s martial arts training has emphasized many of the basics of combat training. The monk may select a combat feat for which he meets the prerequisites, and receive this as a bonus feat. A monk may take this edge more than once. Each time, it grants a new feat as a bonus feat (Armour Proficiency, Light).
Light Armor Kata (Ex): The monk has learned to use light armor with his martial arts training. The monk may use his monk edges and monk talents when wearing light armor. (Normally monk edges and talents only work when wearing no armor.)
A monk must be proficient in light armor to take this edge.
Unfettered Kata (Ex):Many monks learn a fighting style the focuses on being free of needing any weapon or armor in combat.
When unarmored and unencumbered, the monk adds his Wisdom bonus (if any) to his AC and his CMD. In addition, a monk gains a +1 bonus to AC and CMD at 4th level.
This bonus increases by 1 for every four monk levels thereafter, up to a maximum of +5 at 20th level.
These bonuses to AC apply even against touch attacks or when the monk is flatfooted. He loses these bonuses when he is immobilized or helpless, when he wears any armor, when he carries a shield, or when he carries a medium or heavy load. This is true even if he has an edge or talent that allows him to use other monk edges and monk talents when wearing armor.
A monk that selects this edge also gains the Improved Unarmed Strike feat as a bonus feat, and is treated as having the fighting style edge with his unarmed strikes (but not other natural attacks he may have). His unarmed strike is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons.
Fighting Style (unarmed only)(Ex):Most monks are trained in one of more fighting styles, a specific way of using a set of similar weapons to perform martial arts maneuvers.
Offensive edges and talents marked with an asterisk* can only be performed with weapons in a weapon group the monk has selected with this edge.
Select one weapon group below. This list is identical to the weapon group list from The Genius Guide to the Talented Fighter, with the exception of excluding the Siege Weapon Group (no matter how good a monk is, he cannot deliver a stunning fist attack through a catapult) and the addition of the improvised weapon group (which includes anything the GM would allow to be used as an improvised weapon). The monk is proficient with all weapons in the selected group, and may use his specialty attack bonus (essentially full base attack) when making an attack or combat maneuver with one of these weapons, and treats them all as if they had the ki focus ability (allowing him to use abilities and attacks that normally work with unarmed attacks, such as Stunning fist and Punishing Kick, with these weapons).
The monk may also deal lethal or nonlethal damage with any weapons in a group he has selected without penalty.
Monk Talents x 2
Style Master (Ex)*:[Master of Many Styles] The monk may select a bonus style feat that is the first feat in a style path, even if he does not meet that feat’s prerequisites.
Alternatively, he may choose a feat in that style’s feat path (such as Earth Child Topple) as a bonus feat if he already has the appropriate style feat (such as Earth Child Style). The monk does not need to meet any other prerequisite of the feat in the style’s feat path.
This talent may be taken more than once. Each time, it grants the monk an additional bonus feat (Pummelling Style).
Deadly Strikes* (Ex): The monk is a master of using his superior body control to deal surprising amounts of damage with weapons. The monk may be able to replace its base
damage dice, depending on the weapon and the monk’s level.
Deadly strikes depends on the monk to easily adapt his own superior body control through
weapon blows, and thus is easier to use with more basic weapons. When using a weapon that only threatens a critical hit on a natural 20 and that has only a x2 crit multiple (including unarmed attacks), the monk compares the die listed on Deadly Strikes Table 1 for a monk of his level and size to the weapon’s base damage die. If the table’s die is superior, the monk uses it instead of the weapon’s normal damage die whenever the monk deals damage with that weapon.
Typically dressed in simple clothes that partially cover her light armour, Tilaria also often goes barefoot to allow more precise strikes when she uses a kick rather than a blow. On special occasions she has the knowledge to dress up more elegantly, but despite her upbringing finds it less than comfortable. One of the handful of things that almost never changes is a simply pendant of Irori
Tilaria has a messo-soprano voice and dark blue eyes. She tends to take fastidious care of her body and clothing when she can, but doesn’t fear dirt when it comes to it.
Despite this, Tilaria is a deeply spiritual person, dedicated to the God Irori, and seeks to bring about her own spiritual perfection combined with perfecting her body and the world around her. Determined, driven and capable she fully intends to make the world a better place.
Tilaria grew up knowing she was less. She was told that almost constantly. She would make a poor bride - no one would want a one armed wife - and could never make the swordmasters her family adored, even though she showed all the signs of speed and grace the sword required. As she grew older, however, she began to think them wrong. That rather than a crippling deficiency the lack of an arm could be a blessing.
Casting aside the idea of using a sword, she focused on the idea of perfecting herself. Most unarmed fighters used a storm of blows to fight, but that wasn’t an option for Tilaria. So she decided instead she would use one blow - one perfect blow, in the perfect place to do the most harm to the her target.
Her parents, more curious than anything to see what she could do and without a better idea as to what to do with her, agreed to allow her to travel to Quain, well known for being a martial arts mecca even in Brevoy. There, the young girl grew into a young woman, slowly developing in the the potent Pummelling Style and focusing on the brutal speed and grace she was naturally inclined towards.
On her return Tilaria was told of the attempt to bring law and order to the Stolen Lands. The discipline she had learned during her training was strong, and it appealed to her to bring that same level of law to those who didn’t have. Plus, even as she had developed her body she had developed her spirituality. She had come to believe that by creating perfection in the world around her, she would in turn perfect herself.
Tilaria packed her simple possessions and left.

This is Karina Orlovsky, a human inquisitor of mixed Taldan and Issian descent. She is all about skills, from a selection of Knowledges, to Disable Device, Perception, and Sleight of Hand, to Social Skills, Disguise and Sense Motive. At 3rd level I'll be taking the discoveries to add my inspiration dice to Bluff, DD, SoH, Diplo, Sense Motive, and more without spending points. The general idea for the character is to be a master spy, and all that entails.

Karina Orlovsky has light brown hair, brown eyes, and the tanned complexion common to her Taldan ancestry. Her features, while pretty, are rather unremarkable. She wears plain, if well made, traveling clothes, and a leather cuirass. She bears only a plain belt knife for weapons.
Outwardly, Karina is outgoing, friendly, and personable. She has long practice telling people what they want to hear, true or not. Inwardly, she is paranoid of those around her, a feeling brought about by her long training in subterfuge. As a result, Karina has learned to watch others for clues as to their motives and intentions. She is careful in all things, but ready to put it on the line when required.
Karina Orlovsky is the seventh daughter of Boris Orlovsky, fourth son of the head of House Orlovsky, and Ionnia Tavala, Boris's third wife, and a Taldan bard trained in Oppara at the Kitharodian Academy. Karina grew up mostly ignored by her father, but not by her mother. Ionnia taught her daughter many of her own skills, such as speechcraft, stringed instruments, reading people, figuring out puzzles and cyphers, as well as other other skills that are taught to the bards of the Kith. As a teenager, Karina was sent by Ionnia to Oppara to learn from her mother's old master, Tenebrio Palazzo. Karina acquitted her self well enough to graduate from the Kith, though she failed her test to join the Lion Blades. Upon Karina's return to Brevoy Ionnia greeted her daughter with open arms, though she was a bit disappointed with Karina's failure to become a Lion Blade. When Karina heard about the expeditions to the Stolen Lands, she resolved to go and prove to her mother that she had the mettle to be greater than a mere Lion Blade.
Ideally I'd be the Spymaster, but any of the intelligence based roles would work fine. With 14 Charisma I could be ruler if there's no one better to fill that role.

But before any of the creatures could attack, a valiant animal unlike any Evmus ever saw came bounding forth, catching the closest wolf in it's antlers and slinging the thing a good 30 feet away. Taking advantage of his new found ally, Evmus and the mighty stag held off the wolf assault.
After the fight, the stag, which he later determined to be a megaloceros, stayed by his side, bringing him deeper and deeper into the wood until led to a mighty clearing with a single holly tree with mistletoe about it. There, three people in animal furs and with a countenance unlike he'd ever encountered brought him in and taught him the ways of the Druid.
Evmus has been a defender of the River Kingdoms forests ever since. But even he needs supplies on occasion. He has made his way to Restov to resupply when he learns of the call for adventurers into the Stolen Lands to help tame it. Untrustworthy of how the taming will proceed, he has volunteered his services, hoping to preserve as much of the forested land as possible, though even he uses the wood from it on occasion.

Ive had an interest in this campaign for a while, and getting into a game only for it to never start, hasnt exactly made that interest fade.
So I present to you Gregory, for consideration.
Gregory was made with the assumption that trading Brew Potion for Extra Bombs is allowed (The trade Alchemists get in PFS where crafting isnt allowed). Given that 3rd party stuff is being considered, im hoping this swap is on the table.

Afanasi Medvyed |

I've already mentioned this to Helio, but I thought I'd add a little more about this character here in the thread:
While technically evil, Afanasi isn't a psychopath. He's uninterested in mindless violence or illegal activities. He's mostly evil because he's interested in the greater good over personal good. Or, at the moment, just not interested in individuals much at all. He's Neutral, but leans more Lawful, and Evil, but leans more Neutral. He's also completely unwilling to act against allies and family. (Kirrill Medvyed is the uncle mentioned in his background.)
As for Kingdom roles I expect him to grown into the Magister or Diplomat position.
The intent of the character is to explore the idea that sometimes "evil" people make better rulers than "good" people.

Aer'Besethir |

Dylos here, this will be my submission. I am technically 1 lb over a light load, and I do not intend to keep the normal backpack in my warpriest kit (which weighs 2 lbs) so I actually managed to stay within a light load, yay.
Crunchy parts are done, will work on fluff now, but I have the major parts in my mind already.
I will note that I went with a half orc race trait for my second trait, it seemed fitting, and technically they are half orc, just not human.
Also, the name shouldn't be taken to mean that Maiathavara is a noble house of Kyonin Especially given the meaning of the name. The only noble I could find that is named in Kyonin was the queen herself, so I don't know which names would be noble. I used an old issue of Dragon magazine Issue 251 if anyone cares to come up with an elven name, I supplied the meaning in a spoiler on the alias.

Aer'Besethir |

Korahel should be finished now, I changed her alignment a few times while writing her background before deciding on Chaotic Neutral originally she was going to be CG, then I shifted to TN before deciding that CN was the best fit, something very unlike my normal alignment choices. I typically tend towards the Lawful side of things. I also added a dagger to her gear, resulting in her being at max weight for a light load without her standard backpack.
I know that Chaotic Neutral can be a problem alignment, as many Chaotic Neutrals should actually be Chaotic Evil, but I feel it is the best alignment to fit Korahel as she isn't motivated by the desire to do good or evil, simply to follow her passions (which may involve the bloody murder of orcs and elves alike, but if it does, they had it coming). I feel satisfied with her background and I hope that it meets to your satisfaction.
