"The locals were using this as an altar, hince the statuettes, as for that" points to the crystal,"That is a data storage device, I figured one of our more computer savvy members to take the time to access it"
Handsome Gob |
Handsome will check out all the displays and murals and touchscreens, etc. "To monopolize the market, you gotta know your market!!" Watching the touchscreens and displays, he'll attempt to learn all there is to learn. He'll also search around looking for anything that can be of learning interest or of monetary value - especially the room with dusty shelves and empty hooks (gift shop?).
Culture to look around and learn: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Perception to search: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
And lastly, he'll aid with accessing the data storage device uncovered by Rover:
Computers, aid: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Dreamz's circuits glowed an unusual purple as the android began to cast a spell. "There was a 94.321% chance I was going to need this spell."
Cast Comprehend languages so I can read alien computer code without issue. System guru let's me roll twice if it is Tier 3 or less.

Much of the data is corrupted beyond repair, with the exception of a single voice message in Kishaleen.
The message begins with a loud burst of static, followed by a feminine voice. “...chief technology officer here at SecuriTech. Our customer service representatives received your message regarding your...” Another burst of static ensues. “...and I want to assure you that we take your security issues with the utmost seriousness. After all, you are our biggest client.” An awkward chuckle is distorted by audio artifacts.“A copy of the admin keycode for your lock—for all the locks we install—resides on a server within the Foundry. This server cannot be accessed except from its physical terminal, and only SecuriTech’s chief executive officer, a few key members of our team, and I have access to that terminal. In addition, I checked the logs this morning, and no one has accessed your file in almost a year. And that was for normal...” The message ends with a final burst of static.

"Unless the names metaphorical we're looking for a metal processing plant. Metalurgy being more or less orthogonal to culture we should be able to find traces of it from low orbit, maybe an atmospheric chemo scan or..." he hmmms aand takes out his spare com unit and pre flattens his ears
"Hello Ma'm. Is there anywhere in the city that would be good for picking up metal? Somewhere that kills any plant trying to grow there "
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"Maybe one of these things has a map that we could possibly use to aid us?" Rover says as he leans against a wall and waits.

You remember Tzayl saying something about a "Temple Found". it was the place that Huntsmaster Xavra has holed him and other fanatics like him up. She was the one who recommend you search the Maze of Ghosts or House of Renewal for a way in.
the metadata of the message contains a partial router address, identifying the server from which the message was sent and you realize that with a similar message, you could pinpoint the server exactly.

"Religious wars have a 32.17% chance of ending known intelligent, organic life. Entropy is the only thing that has tested higher. Rumor has it that the annacites have started instigating controllable religious conflicts to prevent that. Anyway if we can find similar data fragments I can pinpoint the server!"

'Look up birth rates after conflicts though"Xavier says as he looks at Dreamz.

Justin whisker bristles "My nose is clean thank you very much, I flick them into Handsome's pile every morning "
Handsome Gob |
"Gobbammit! And I was so proud of how big a pile I was able to create! Turns out production was juiced by Justin. Hey, that's got a ring to it. Justin the Juicer!!!"

"Yes the Temple found is easy enough to find but the only known entrance is heavily guarded by Xavra and his most trusted and powerful hunters." she says before contemplating..."however there are rumors of ancestor spirits who hint of another entrance in the House of Renewal. If you had success in the Maze of Ghosts then the ancestors must favor you so that should be your nest destination." she says with authority.
DR34-M12 |
"Well we were going to head there anyway." Dreamz said as she finished loading the holoprojectors in Hi-C's pack. "On to the House of Renewals and probably more rude hard lights!"
GM Friendly Sauce |
Just so I'm on board, the plan is to have Hi-C and DR34-M12 scout out the Temple Found? just FYI its less of a building and move of 2-3 square blocks buildings.

I think we were planning on having the whole party do a lap. HI C is just the one who doesn't like walking
Handsome Gob |
Handsome will follow along as well - weapon in hand.
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"Don't worry Hi-C when we get back to the Ship I'll so you some Jazzercize videos, and J'Net F'da workouts you'll love them and helps with Cardio" Rover says with a wink as he pulls out his regular pistols.

Tzayl is able to show you a rough map of the planetoid chunk that Istamak resides on that the group has throw together with bits and pieces of wood and metal and stone. Using that as a reference, you are able to figure out the relative location of both the House of Renewal, and the temple Found.
Rover leads the way through the ancient and abandoned city and finds a park with overgrown grass that will save some time to cut through...
Life Science:
Hi-C: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 13 max 10
Justin: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Rover: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Handsome Gob: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
You notice that the blades of this grass look sharp enough to cut through flesh and armor!
DR34-M12 |
Dreamz gave the bladed grass a quick sweep of her laser. "Why eat them when you can blast them?"
Two of us have jetpacks and Hi-C has jump jets, could we go over the grass?
Handsome Gob |

Handsome examines the grass, trying to determine if it is possible to clear a safe path through it. He then draws his inferno knife and looks at it longingly and as he contemplates an alternative plan - whether or not it is possible to just burn the grass down to clear a path. He grins at the thought. The grin widens....
Life Science to determine if this can possibly work: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
"Hey guys, I have an idea and I think it'll totally work! I can't possibly be wrong on this one!!"
Good/bad idea aside, Handsome has a jetpack.
Justin-Norveg |
"Well, knowing you, it either involves fire and destruction or rebranding and mass merchandising. Or any combination of those."
"Flying the jetpack low over the grass so it burns his logo into it in gian "Can only be seen from space" letters? "
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"Now Captain, if you really do want to advertise here, I recommend an Ad spamming satellite, fewer natives trying to kill you"
GM Friendly Sauce |
Everyone gets 1 Reroll due to the GM's lack of time management!!!
luckily they grass burns easily enough and once you see it, you can navigate through it with ease via your jetpacks.
As you approach the Temple found you find a forested hill which should be perfect to see the bulk of the Temple found from.
The temple is a huge complex consisting of 1 building and taking up an entire city block. you can see at least a dozen small figures that must be Kish, guarding the building. They appear to be much more heavily armed than the previous warriors you have seen.
Xavier "Rover" Florin |
"We should just drop in and strike" he says pulling his guns ready to strike.
