Fhingle stands shocked at the brutality that Saul just did, a new behaviour has come over Saul.
"He just killed her? Just like that, she was maybe going to co-operate." Fhingle says to the others still inside, Fhingle covers the woman in a sheet, taking anything off her they could use then heads out into the main room.
"Lead on then Jackdaw, we need to figure out what is going on here." Ice in Fhingle's voice

C3 Floor-to-ceiling shelving lines the walls of this storage space, although little beyond cobwebs and dust-covered fragments remain on the shelves. A large nest of filthy rags, soiled clothing, and moldy pillows lies in a heap to the west.
C4 A ten-foot-wide pit yawns in the center of this room, leaving a five-foot-wide walkway surrounding it. No railing guards the edges of the pit, which are decorated with shards of jagged glass and metal.

Jackdaw walks into the small storage space (C3), looking for anything of value on the shelves. He uses his 10 foot longspear to prod at the filthy rags and soiled clothing, not wanting to get fleas but curious if anything is underneath.

Could we scrape the shards of glass and metal into the pit with a weapon, say a longspear, as we go? If not, I have monkey fish prepared so I could climb the walls but I don't think that would help the others cross. Maybe if I tied a rope somewhere...

"Make a pile of it, we can take it with us wash it and hand it out to the poor to help them. Will give us some rep as well maybe." Fhingle says, making his way north around the pit.

Fhingle walks around the pit looking out for something out of the ordinary. But he misses the crucial part. The floor under his feet folds away and sends him on the way through the glass and metal shard and towards the spikes 20 feet below.
