When Saul points out that, whatever this bead is, it evokes some sort of force, Zea slaps herself on the forehead. "Of course! It's a bead of force! We could use it to try to trap an enemy and stall them for a while. It's probably more reliable to use as an instant wall, however."

With his fist lit up from Fhingle's earlier light spell, Jackdaw proceeds down the stairs, rapidly and almost carelessly. Though it is not evident, his eyes quickly glance over every nook and cranny, watching for traps and crumbling masonry.

Sorry, your DD roll looked so much like the last, that I didn't see it's a new one.

Saul disables the trap and opens the door. The stairs lead down into a large room. Twin rows of stone pillars support a shallow vaulted ceiling ten feet above the floor of this wide room. A number of wooden doors hang half open on rusty hinges to the north and south, and fragments of tables and chairs lie in various states of ruin throughout the room. To the west, a stone stage stands empty, while empty torch sconces line the walls between the doors. Images of a one-eyed insectile face, smeared on the walls in what appears to be blood, decorate the spaces between sconces.

Fhingle walks up a torch sconce and puts his torch in one, pulling out 2 more Fhingle lights them from the already lit one and moves about the room putting them in the corners to light the room.

"well we have a way to retreat. We start on the right and search every room?" Fhingle says moving to the first door.

Before following Fhingle to the next room, Jackdaw glances about at the wide rooms broken furniture, and he examines the insectoid blood drawing.

"First job for our painting halfing... Paint a nice mural of Jackdaw and his crew killing the Thrune. Heh-heh, yeah, that would be great. Foreshadowing, I would say."

Jackdaw looks for valuables before moving on.
