Unimpressed by the massive brawler's fluttering eyelids and flexing abs, Stelle relieves Mortimer of several Amulets of Mighty Fists and hurriedly herds him out of the discussion forum by prodding key pressure points with her lance.

For now she settles on the Scarab of Mummy Defense and a Cloak of Resistance +2.

Kosei steps a bit back from the Giant man. Having heard legends of its dragon punch grapple movement the Kosei is happy to leave the man examine the damn pile undisturbed.

Once the man is conjured, Kosei picks up the items he had marked up before:
- Scroll of mass bear’s endurance
- ring of protection +2 (he hands his +1 to Florence)

About the bag of holding, I offered to take it, but I realized now if Kosei is shifted into something, it might be inconvenient to search items on the bag of holding for the group.

Okay, so as far as restorative supplies that we already have, Florence is carrying the following:

Wand of CLW (32 charges)
Wand of CLW x2 (50 charges each)
Scroll of Heal
Scroll of Stone to Flesh

She can also memorize Raise Dead if push comes to shove but at this point it'd probably be better if we could pick up some means for proper Resurrection as well as some means of Restoration.

While I'd offered earlier to carry and keep track of the second Bag of Holding, I'm actually fine with Kosei doing so instead if that's not too much trouble for him.

I'll need to do some quick scanning around to see if there are any specific (new) magic items that Flo might want to pick up for herself; if nothing else I may see about upgrading her headband from a +2 to a +4 depending on how much money she ends up with after the divvy.

Thank you for this post, Flo! This is great. I’d get more wands of CLW (mostly because we’ll be going through them like uhm...jugs of applejack, I guess). +1 to the scroll of raise dead/resurrection, whichever. If we’re at the point were you are constantly memorizing raise dead, we have a lot of issues.

I can review this more tonight as it posted after bed and now I’m at work.

Kosei is carrying a CLW and a CMW wands himself. Also a restoration scroll, but we probably should be carrying more removal scrolls.
Specially disease, curses, paralysis, blindness, delay poison ones. Maybe like 4x of each? Splitting resources is a good idea if we can use them.

If we are staying enough days, Kosei also would like to let his headband rise from +2 to +4. Also, snatching a +2 Con belt would be awesome.

I am not very knowledgeable on useful items for druids. Perhaps some empower or maximize rod if we get money enough?

As Zilchus used the last of his external healing in the Sphinx and knowing what Florence holds, I might recommend the following healing purchases.

2250 gp 2*Wand of CLW
4500 gp 1*Wand of CMW (for Zilchus to hold unless you want more complaints of him not being healt fast enough)

^I'm on board with that. Having scrolls is obviously preferable but should we run out of Remove Curse scrolls, Florence can memorize it herself if the need arises.

Should we worry about Remove Blindness/Deafness at all?

As for the carpet the search function on Paizo is very very flaky. They know it's a problem, and have chosen not to fix it for some time now. Don't know when, if ever, it'll get fixed. Someday perhaps.

In the meantime, I don't recall Abdur having anything special, but he can obtain the usual flying carpets in any size. Keep an eye on the weight allowance. They don't carry a lot. Most adventurers are carrying quite a bit of gear too...

Florence, that should all be fine, though I share your concerns. It can be a well balanced spell/item, but in the wrong hands, it can be quite a problem. Keep in mind you have a 20% spell failure with the ring on as I read it. I'm also likely to rule edge cases tightly. Should still be pretty sweet though.

I don't think intelligent bonuses give you spells known, just spells per day (or the reverse, I get confused) but either way not both. Language is fine considering your recent exposure.

Yeah, if it gets to be a problem then I'll just swap it out (if we ever end up back in civilization again) for a Cloak of Displacement or something similar.

Re: intelligence - It does say that witches get bonus spells/day based on Int but only that they get bonus 1st level spells based on their Int modifier when they first start out. I use HeroLab for all my character needs so I suspect it's some issue on their end? I'll get it sorted out.

Okay yeah, I guess HeroLab just assumes that if your spellcasting modifier goes up enough you get bonus spells known to match; removed Waves of Fatigue from Flo's known spells and I'll just have to keep that wrinkle in mind going forward.

I gotta say, the dungeon-crawling is fun to a point but I think some of my favorite sequences in this game are when we're just jacking around in Wati or Tephu!

Hey guys, I'm sick/have been sick. I'm feeling better than I was but still experiencing a lot of general malaise and mental fatigue + I have three shifts in a row coming up at work starting tonight (Saturday). So I'm taking a break from PbP for a few days to focus on resting up and getting through work; I'll check back in by Tuesday evening at the latest.

Thanks guys! I'm feeling much better now aside from some congestion and sinus pressure. It also worked out in that while Saturday night was pretty quiet, Sunday and Monday night were both busy enough that I didn't have much time for posting anyway.

What areas of our game can be improved? What can I do to bring you collectively back to the table? Feel free to PM me so there’s no finger pointing or the like. I’m not all that concerned, but I do want to pick up the pace and view this as an opportunity to improve as well.

Also, today I learned pineapple doesn't set in Jell-O and it totally ruined my baking. Ugh, how am I just finding this out? I can't believe it's "common" knowledge and I'm the only person who didn't seem to know. I'm mildly upset y'all. I wasted 2 family-sized packages of Jell-O

I don't eat a lot of Jello, er, or at all really. But I would have thought pineapple would set just fine.

However, as a child, I tried making some pudding with a gram-cracker crust. I didn't know what I was doing, and so I didn't bake the crust first, or make the filling first. I just added the filling bits to the frozen crust and mixed the ingredients (badly) together with a fork. Threw it in the oven for a while, and it came out a wet gloppy mess.

I love chocolate and gram-cracker, but even I couldn't eat it.

I apologize for my slightly slower posting over the past few days. Things got busy a work and I had less time to do what I wished. Mental energy was sapped and not enough brain power to commit to the energy of describing a week in Wati.

In general, I enjoy the game and only wish to post more than once a day and love it when others post as well. Every day.

I know you said not to post reasons or excuses but that makes it a little difficult to answer your question when the majority of my own slowness is due to RL busyness and lack of mental energy - and it's something that can be seen across all of my games if one were to monitor all of my aliases, not just this one in particular.

But to answer your query more directly, I will admit that I'm finding extended dungeon crawling in PbP to be highly tedious even with SOP in place to make things like trap-finding and door-opening move more quickly. That said, having done some GMing myself I'm aware that there's only so much the GM can do to make a dungeon crawl entertaining and that there's some onus on players to make it more entertaining for themselves. So that's something I'll attempt to do more of going forward.
