Oh, I missed this part: After the golem crumbles to the ground, a green gas disperses into the area in a green oily cloud. The party is sickened for a few minutes by the noxious gas but quickly recovers.

Kyra makes sure the party is all patched up before everyone moves further into the ruined city.

Ahead, filling the cavern with its enormity, is a charred dome blackened by several dormant chimneys. A wide cobbled avenue thrusts forth from the cyclopean entrance signaling that whatever the Jistka produced within must have been gigantic indeed. Toppled and broken banner poles surround the soot-stained temple-foundry, and the wide avenue runs uninterrupted for as far as the eye can see. Other smaller domed basilicas surround the Jistka landmark in various stages of decline. Towering high above the charred dome are five chimneys creating a pattern that forms a shadowy pentagram down upon the cobbles below—alluding to the dark powers the Jistka once worshiped.

A gaunt man wearing ornate armor emblazoned with a snake motif exits the temple-foundry clapping his hands in a mocking fashion—following closely behind him is a shambling humanoid, all rotting skin and slashed up clothing.

“I’m impressed; you’ve accomplished what my men couldbnot. And, for that, we thank you. Because of you and your companions, we are now free to claim Rachikan for ourselves.”

@Raphael: Sure, I'll redirect your attacks and move you on the map.

Weiman hastes his party members before the agents step out of hiding.

Hm-when I said they were holding bows. I meant rapiers. Totally the same thing. Why would they not give them bows? Crazy. . .

The agents move around the back sides of the pillars and surround the party. Raphael then rushes up the walkway and smacks Halidruas around. Haliduras responds by stepping back and casting a spell, separating Raphael from the rest of the party with a wall of fire.

Though I'm sure I don't need to remind EF, I want to note that Holy Smite also is less effective if they're Neutral. No blinding and they automatically take half and can Will to take 1/4th instead. There's also the outsider thing, but none of them are, so... yeah.

What happened with the 20 rolls is that each post tracks what each "die" rolled in order. If you edit a post put in, say, another 1d20, it will repost them in order rolled and break any context. Its usually better to type everything at once and only ever add at the bottom.

Yep, I see that now. It pushed my 20 to the confirmation roll. Thanks for the info. So my original rolls were 4, 20, and 20 and then because I inserted the confirm crits between them, the second two rolls of 11 and 12 pushed the 20 to confirm and the 11 went to haste attack. It doesn't really matter, I think I did enough to obliterate him anyhow and the zombie is no threat to me at all.

    Raphael quickly ends the zombie.

    Out of combat!

Although his body is somewhat decayed and has since been mangled by Raphael's blades, the face is unmistakably akin to that of Benton Grone. The journal on the zombie's body confirms that this was indeed Eldris Grone.

With the Aspis Consortium defeated, you have temporarily secured Rachikan, though sounds of hundreds, maybe thousands of morlocks deeper in the city can be heard even as the battle with Haliduras comes to an end.

The party quickly moves back through the ancient city with morlocks on their heel. Everyone leaps in the cart, Raphael and Valeros cutting down a few morlocks on the way. Valeros jams the cart's controls forward and the ascent begins.

Back in Absalom you will will earn credit with the Pathfinder Society for being the first to explore Rachikan and the Society will have to decide what to do about the morlock infestation sometime in the future. With the
camp atop the pillar cleared of Aspis agents, the slaves are at your mercy.

With the return of Eldis’ corpse to Benton, the grieving uncle decides to reenter the Society and continue his nephew’s work.

Congratulations, everyone! You completed Fingerprints of the Fiend*, one of my favorites if for nothing else than the sheer Indiana-Jones-ness of it, although you missed out on having a cliff-side fight dangling from a rope (which is a good thing because that's the most challenging combat in this one-we almost had two deaths).

We will move on to the conclusion with Fury of the Fiend in a little while once I get everyone's numbers and Day Jobs and get the chronicles distributed.

Hope everyone had a good time!

    *:
And I have officially GM'd every scenario from Season 0!

Thanks for running! Does this mean you've run the retired scenarios, too?

    craft (food): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 might reroll if bad

    2*star chef reroll: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 = 14

Weiman prepares a new dish, Jistkan golem surprise. A cracker shell, hardened around fancy (but horrible-smelling) cheeses. While it amuses Weiman, it is very badly received. The remaining shipment is sent to adventurers Weiman has adventured with before.

No, I have not run the retired scenarios. I've got plenty of sanctioned scenarios to GM first but I'm sure some of them are good. Maybe one day I'll look through them. I know there are some good 3.5 modules I'd like to run if they ever get sanctioned. (Not likely)

Wow, that's a lot of GMing! I will apply this one to Bizzle Goodwager, #79644-1. Do I get to roll for Bizzle's day job?

    If so, Profession (Gambler): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
