He whispers Now we're all invisible. Let's use that to our advantage.

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

On the southern wall of this sprawling cavern, a massive wheel of metal buckets lined with sharp edges is embedded, partially buried, in the wall. The latticework of metal girders connects to the wheel. The whole of the device comprises a long mechanical arm ending in a metal wheel far larger than any mill’s waterwheel.

Near the waterwheel is awakening a large metallic arachnid, lights firing and scorpion-like tail raising to reveal the plasma gun mounted on the end.

Sorry, continuing to be too busy in day to day stuff.

Mef urges Trigger forward as he issue a challenge to Hellion. "Come on then, you two bit pseudo god of God's damned nihilists!"

Taking aim with his pistol, he fires three shots at the wannabe god.

Mef stifles a cry as he tumbles into the pit. Looking around, he gives Libri and embarrassed look. "Sorry about landing on ya, lass. Had some difficulties managing my trajectory." He says without any notice of the spike poking through his leg.

Trying to stand up, he finds he's pinned to the bottom of the pit. "Looks like I'm a wee stuck." He says, the with a grunt of pain, takes his leg in both hands and yanks it off the sharpened spike. Standing, but favoring his hole-y leg, he tries climbing out of the pit.

Jorac aims and shoots another fireball at the seemingly invincible construct.

"Fire in the Hell hole!"

Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

"....hold right there!"

Using Libri as a living ladder, Mef manages to scramble about halfway up the pit wall, clinging on to the side for all his worth.

"Anybody got a rope up there!"

Ref: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Mefindio continues to struggle against the pit as he watches a ball of flame explode above his head. A crash of metal is heard and as the smoke clears you see the giant twisted remains of the robot-spider lying useless on the ground. Seconds later, you hear an ominous creaking as the chassis explodes!

plasma damage: 8d4 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 3, 1, 4, 3, 2) = 23
DC 14 Ref for half; only Taran is in the blast and I don't think it will kill him but I'm not sure what his updated HP are.

With the destruction of Hellion’s robot chassis, it is unlikely the AI-cum-wannabe-god could be resurrected without significant effort to restore his memory banks and processors. Of course, more enemies abound in Numeria but your mission has been accomplished and for now you have saved the looming threat against Torch.

And that's about it for Book 2 of Iron Gods! If you feel like leveling to 7th you have earned it although, as I said before, I am bringing this campaign to a close now that we have finished book 2. I hope you all had fun with the first two books at least and if/when this AP is ever sanctioned I will contact all of you to pass out PFS chronicles. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for running it, it was definitely very fun!

"What a relief. We got rid of a world threat, and I'm glad it's over. Shall we scrounge for whatever parts of that so-called "iron god" that we can, then head back to Torch? I think we've deserved a good rest."
