Korad finds himself back on the other side, now holding 2 javelins. Apparently his old one has returned!
Angrboda finds that her ration pouch makes a strange noise when she stows it, and Flavias finds himself staring right into the eyes of his sickle.... wait... eyes?
Fuzzzy's hat sits on the ground next to him but seems normal so far, but Jeb's Mug seems to have a strange tinge of orange to it. When he looks closer in puzzlement, it shifts a bit to a yellow hue.
Watergreen's charcoal expels a small stream of bubbles as it leaves its black mark on her hand.
Azure quickly hops up and rushes to meet with you. "Well? Did you find me colors?"

Angrboda pulls the ration pouch back out and looks at it more closely.

Eniac is greeted by the toadstool it had spit into the well...which does what?

Watching the other items Korad gives a glances at weapons but puts off a longer inspection later on in order to address Azure.
"I must say, I can't say I'm certain of anything from that wonderland through the portal, but we may have found it." He motions to Watergreen adding, "It was hard fought so I hope you it can still help you."

Korad's weapon has a strange heft to it... it feels solid, the balance doesn't seem off or anything, it looks normal, but tossing it up and down has a strange feel to it.
Angrboda inspects her ration pouch and finds that every time she withdraws a ration, it giggles and coos back at her. Eniac is too busy nibbling on his toadstool, which is now growing purple fur.
Flavias does not appear to be winning his staring contest. The sickle has way too many eyes... No intelligence behind them... but lots of eyes.
Azure doesn't seem bothered at all by the strange items, but at the mention of his colors his eyes open wide. "My colors? You found them?? Let me see let me see! I think I've got a ritual to close the rift if you've got them!"

Watergreen looks at her charcoal. She uses it and sees it shoots out bubbles that drift up into the air. She grins. "How delightful!" She tucks the charcoal into her belt pouch. Then she pulls out the bag of colours and gives it to Azure. "Here you are. Now tell me about this ritual."

Fuzzzy looks at the hat. "Oh, look! A hat! Hats are for wearing." He picks up the hat and puts it on his head.

Jeb looks at his mug. "Well, that's something. Hmm... Fanciest thing I own!" He seems pleased with it. Looking at Flavius Jeb remarks, "I ain't never seen eyes on a weapon before."

Fuzzzy's hat echoes back in a singsong voice. "Hats are for wearing! Hats are for wearing!"
Jeb's mug turns a nice pleasing shade of blue.
Azure practically dives into the bag and suddenly a huge grin crosses his face as his bright colors cover his body and clothing once again. He cries out with happiness, "Jamila! They've done it!"
"Coming..."
After a minute or so, Jamila and Falbin come over. Jamila asks, "Feeling better Azure?"
Azure nods furiously.
"Well then, let's get to it!"
It takes a bit of prompting from Jamila, but Azure, Jamila, and Falbin lead a short ritual calming Azure and ending his longing that caused such a strain on the barrier between planes. After no more than 10 minutes, the rift vanishes and the seasons finally stop changing so rapidly. At the bottom of the bindle bag remain a handful of tiny glass chips that flicker with elemental energy. "Oh thank you oh thank you friends! Please... keep these as a token of my thanks!"

Korad does go a safe distance away as he measures the weight of his javelin against it's sibling. He gives it a toss at an empty patch of land once he is satisfied with his tactile examination.
"Aha! I thank you for yet more gifts!" Korad does eye them with a wariness and confusion. "I must ask though, these aren't going to, you know, explode randomly, will they?"

![]() |

Korad is a bit distracted by the material of his javelin as he thinks on the question. His thoughts spew out as though he is just saying the first thing that come to mind, "A boulder being covered by vines..."
After looking into the distance a moment more he shakes off the thought with a laugh. "Well, if it is to remember all of us, what about picture of Symbol of the Open Road? Unless you want a much bigger picture that one thing is what brought us here, Right?"

Azure seems to like the idea of the symbol of the open road... although you are pretty sure it's not supposed to be bright shades of pink and teal.
~~~
During the journey back to Bellis, you notice the tropical winds cooling and the overgrown vegetation slowly retreating. When you reach the town, you find the streets abuzz with talk of a great stone beast that appeared suddenly in the town square.
An elephant that appears to have been roughly hewn from solid rock towers over tents and kiosks in the Bellis market square. After a moment, a statuesque suli man emerges from behind the elephant, scanning the commons with his electric-blue eyes. When he spots Jamila, he smiles and waves her over. “Typical,” mutters Jamila, folding her arms but smirking in spite of herself, “Even when he’s late, Ashasar knows how to make an entrance. Or should I say, especially when he’s late.”
"Greetings Pathfinders! I am Ashasar, Liaison to the Seat of Balance of the Concordance of Elements, as well as the newly appointed liaison between the Concordance and the Pathfinder Society. Please, come... let us convene at an inn and discuss your findings over tea!"
As you walk, he practically bounces with excitement. As you arrive at the inn, the stone elephant shrinks. Noting the looks, Ashasar shrugs and smiles, "He likes to be noticed, so I used a bit of magic to help him put on a show."
Jamila raises an eyebrow. "Help him put on a show? Or you?"
He chuckles and waves a hand dismissively before opening the door to the inn... and surprises the living daylights out of the innkeeper. He tosses a bag of rocks along with a few gold pieces to the woman. "Please, heat the stones on the stove. My elephant here enjoys resting atop warm rocks. And some tea for my friends and I."
He motions for you all to join him at the table. "Truly, I'm jealous of all of you for getting to go on such a fascinating excursion, but such is the way of a leader, doomed to delegate. Please, tell me what you found, and don't spare the details."
Korad watches the display with bemusement and wonder, he mutters to the rest of the party, "A little extravagant of a display, don't you think?"
Even still that doesn't stop the stone man from joining at the table and starting the mission briefing. "Well we first entered the forest and were finding signs of unusual flora and fauna. Plants and creatures of unusual size. This went smoothly until a pair of giant frogs hopped by and try to have us for a lunch!"
"My comrades were able to deal with them quickly and that led us to Azure, the source of the changes."
![]() |
Fuzzzy smiles at the man. "Of course! Let's see.... I don't remember what happened! But, I'm sure it was fun!"
He empties his bag out onto the table but is surprised to find it empty. Watergreen took all my stuff! Haha.
![]() |
"Hoooo! Hoo-hooo, hooty hoot. Hoooooooooo hoooo hoooooooooo! Hoooo-ooooo, oooohoooo hooot!"
![]() |
"Really?!" Fuzzzy gasps. He smiles proudly. "I knew I had fun!"
![]() |
Watergreen takes the shiny bits of glass. "Thank you."
At the sight of Ashasar, Watergeen smiles and waves. She hurries over really quick! Once they're sitting down for tea she pulls out all kinds of treasures from her bag. "I found you all kinds of neat things!" She pulls out the frozen bird, frozen fire, strange soil, frog skin, poofy pollen and all kinds of other things! "Do you like it?"
"We were forced to explore the First World itself to recover the ... umm ... Colors? of a gnome we met. He had opened the portal and was causing the unusual activity of the forest trying recover his lost color. We agreed to aid and headed into the other world in his stead."
Korad passively directs attention to his companions on their own successes.
"As modest as Fuzzy is, he is very good with a sword. He connected many blows against archers who were bent on hunting us within the First World as well as a... an aggressive plant which caught me unaware."
"The first word was an unusual place to say the least. It changed rapidly from season to season, leaving behind unusual bits and pieces that Watergreen managed to gather."
Directing himself to his companions he adds, "You both did excellent work. I would feel blessed to have any of you with me on any journey."
![]() |
Jeb scratches at his beard as he enjoys his tea in his colour changing mug. It's currently a pleasant blue colour. "Yup. That place sure was weird. Especially that grove. Tried to leave the grove and we just ended up right back where we started. The secret was walking backwards." He nods wisely.
At Korad's compliment Jeb claps Korad on the back. A wave of his body odour settles over the oread. "Why thanks, fella. Same here."
Ashasar listens with rapt attention to every detail. "My my... real encounters with first worlders in their native habitat! That's something that many adven-"
His elephant buts in, speaking in Terran. "The crowd was in awe of me."
Ashasar ignores him and continues. "-turers may be lucky to experience at the end of their careers! And you from the start! And these... treasures! My word they will do wonders to help our underst-"
The elephant slowly continues, in Terran once again. "I do think the people of Bellis were quite impressed with my grand appearance."
Ashasar shakes his head. "Yes yes, I'm sure they were... Anyhow, I must commend your dedication Ms. Watergreen, and your attention to detail! The Concordance of the Elements will no doubt grow in knowledge and resources from your aid."
He turns and looks at the rest of you before adding, "And should any of you wish to join... we have lots of openings!"
At this point, anyone who wishes to change their faction to the Concordance may do so freely! I have noted Angrboda and Korad, and I think that is all. If I'm wrong on that, let me know.
"Thanks!" Watergreen smiles happily. Lilith crept out from her shoulder, up her neck, and up onto her cheek. Then she just sticks there, looking around.
