I see that Welby has a status of 'grabbing the edge.' Did he even actually fall? He failed the DC20 acrobatics check, but only by 3. He didn't critically fail. I rolled to grab an edge just in case he did and also because it was funny. If he did fall what is the DC to climb back up after grabbing an edge?

Thought I replied, but it looks like the boards ate it. The scenario specifically says that you fall if you fail the Acrobatics check. The railing and the wall of the balcony are equivalent of a knotted rope with a wall to brace against, so DC 5 to get up.

They are pushed toward the edge of the balcony, though they do not take the full blast as some of the wind passes between them.

Nyak Nyak puts a rock right between the eyes of the reddish fey, who falls to the ground.

The remaining creatures throw down their prop weapons and fly off. They carefully choose a path with no balconies or chandeliers for the Pathfinders to use to follow.

The Pathfinders untie the captured fey, who introduces himself as Inkbloom. He seems shaken up and has some painful but not dangerous injuries. In his current state, he won't be able to tell you much.

The captured fey can be tied up. Thanks to the dueling pins, they are also unharmed despite losing the fight. They ask for their release and promise to leave if you let them go.

DC 16 Intimidation or DC 18 Diplomacy on captured fey:
They reveal more of their grand plans — namely, that the biggest prank yet is to take place during the show itself. One of them adds, “Plaguetooth and Umberweed said this was the best way to have fun” and that smaller pranks have already been arranged. They do not know the details of anything that the other fey were doing or where the others might be.

DC 16 Crafting or DC 18 Thievery on the balcony:
You realize that the fey were attempting to weaken the seats so they would fall once sat upon. They were interrupted before they could finish, though. Similar attempts would be time-consuming and noisy, that it’d take similar numbers to those defeated here to carry the work out to fruition, and that only the boxes are really secluded enough for the fey to conduct this sort of prank.

DC 14 Medicine, DC 16 Deception or DC 18 Diplomacy on Inkbloom:
Once he calms down, Inkbloom reveals what he knows. Inkbloom knows that Plaguetooth and Umberweed were dissatisfied with the outcome of the Great Prank War a few years ago, and that they have vowed revenge for Numblekin, the fey who took things too far back then. Pappy Draighean, the leprechaun leader of their fey caravan, does not know that they’re here. Inkbloom has had a change of heart, since they’ve moved from simple graffiti to trying to ruin performances. He doesn’t know specifically what they have planned, but he knows they plan to unleash it during the performance.

Inkbloom offers the group two lesser healing potions for your help.

So many colorful props and tools. Reminds her of when Issil played make-believe with her Grandmother. Flight of the Silver Ravens was her favorite, her favorite game where the Silver Ravens protected Chileax from the Imperial Devils!

“Pathfinders? Oh, right; the headmaster said he’d be getting your help! We may need more of it than we originally thought. People are staying home. Not the audience, but the cast and crew. We’re not going to let these pranksters win, though!” The kobold and all the other students nod resolutely. “But… it’d be great if you could help us. The headmaster said you’d be looking into the pranks, but once you’re done with that, could you maybe…?” She pauses, psyching herself up for what’s clearly a huge favor, the other students’ eyes pleading as well. “Substitute in on the show? You won’t need to memorize lines, I promise! You just need to help.”

No, writing? What was it?” It’s clear that something has affected the play’s lead.

The Pathfinders can easily tell that something is affecting Morgan’s mind. They can rule out various magics or substances as the cause of Morgan’s condition and narrow down treatments. With some examination, they determine that deduce that Morgan’s mind has been addled by Draxie Dust.

A combination of shaking Morgan roughly and reciting some lines from the play allows the team to snap Morgan out of his dazed state. They are quite embarrassed by the whole ordeal but resolve to practice even more intently.

As thanks, Morgan hands over their good luck charm, which happens to be a shark tooth charm.
