I've adjusted everyone's tokens based on what you have said you are doing.

Garam is easily able to push on the rune 'button' to activate the flames. Three blazing spears of white-hot fire erupt from the statue’s open mouths. Each blast of fire causes the Untouchable Opal not only to glow with the intensity of a tiny sun, but also tremble as thousands of cracks spider web across its surface, each one crackling with electricity.

The flames die off, leaving the Opal glowing for a few more rounds. Isah whispers to you that now is the time to douse the Opal in the magic waters and then hit it with the pick.

A multicolored lattice of glyphs and sigils suddenly flares to life in front of Kandirion’s Forge, from which steps Sorrina Westyr. Sorrina impassively raises a single hand in warning as she interposes herself before the forge. “Go no further, mortals. What you do here today will cause unintended consequences, causing a ripple of chaos across the ages that emboldens the frothing edge of the Maelstrom. You cannot fully comprehend the consequences of your actions.”

kn. arcana or sense motive, DC 26:
This is not Sorina, but some sort of similacrum

The druid glances at the glowing Opal "Looks like we'll need to act quickly if we want to complete this."

"Shall we finish what we came here to do." he adds looking at the crystalline decanter held by Gurkagh, while gripping Fossilblight ready to complete the job.

Thargash nods. "Gurkagh activate your flask again to douse the glowing opal in the basin." he says hefting Fossilblight in both hands, ready to bring the diamond headed war pick down as hard as he can on Ranginori's prison once the shaman has completed his step of the process.

"I think I would have believed it more if it had been Aram Zey calling us foolish." he muses.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Gurkagh-bot lifts up the Decantur, and a flow of pure, clear water falls over the Opal. The gem sparks with a sudden surge of electricity, the room echoes with distant peal of thunder, and each facet reflects an image of gathering storm clouds.

When Thargash's magic pick smashes into the Opal, a thunderclap reverberates from the gem and seems to echo back, as though it had sounded across the planes. The bands of air that swirl around the Untouchable Opal scatter suddenly, exploding into motes of blue-white light and dancing lightning, and roiling clouds spill from where the pick struck. In places, the vapor briefly coalesces into a serpentine form with a feline head and flowing mane of sheet lightning.

The motes of energy imbue you with tingling waves of euphoric power. (please see the Discussion Thread for the mechanical implications of this).

Fossilblight crumbles in Gurkagh's hands, its conditions for destruction having been met.

The simulacrum of Sorina crumbles. A latticework of rainbow-hued energy forms nearby, folding open like some elaborate one-dimensional gateway. a startlingly complex machine of white marble and brass gears with both arachnid and humanoid features emerges. It screeches with a mechanical voice. "You are in direct violation of probable causality resulting in extemporaneous alteration of the temporal flow. For the good of the multiverse, you and your actions will be redacted from history. Your compliance is demanded but ultimately unnecessary." It is accompanied by several axiomite assistants, blaring a proclamation of dismay and alarm.

GM, if it's allowed to ask: does Tsrvk think that these creatures are constructs or otherwise "non-living matter"? He's considering turning his scimitar into a light saber (aka "brilliant energy" enhancement) which he's never had a chance to use since picking it up but it specifically calls out that it does nothing against "undead, constructs, and objects." And no worries if this is beyond what he can know - I guess I'm asking if they look and sound like constructs?

After relaying anything useful she may know, Froo Froo ducks back into her satchel. Even for a figment of Tsrvk's imagination, she knows this is not a good place for her to be.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Tsrvk can tell that the aeverut is constructed, but the minions are not. The minions looks strong enough that enhancement would not go to waste.

The minions are resistant to cold and fire.

I'm going to rule that the aura does not apply while the bad guy is flat footed, just to keep things moving.

Garam and Tsrvk can take their turns.

Actions:

Swift action to Invoke Patron for:
Curiosity: +2DC for Hexes and Patron Spells
Reckoning: +1 insight bonus to damage per dice rolled with spells and natural attacks. +4 bonus to confirmation rolls with the same.

Standard action to defensively cast sickening (+2), rime (+1), empowered (+2) cone of cold. Base level is 5, spell perfection removes the increase from sickening, magical lineage reduces the final level by 1 for a level 7 spell. Preferred spell means he will expend one of his level 7 heal spells for it.

Conditions
Entangled: The character is ensnared. Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force. An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity. An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell.

Sickened: The character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Spell DC: 10 +11 Int + spell level
Evocations: +2 greater spell focus
Cone of Cold: +2 spell perfection
Cold spells: +1 from Winter Witch Archetype

Move action to fly which will provoke. I will try and get as high as I can to get out of his reach.

He begins his dance with a bit of soft shoe.

Free action to activate haste from boots of speed (round 2 of 10).

Then he spends a few moments admiring his scimitar and contemplating all the many battles they have fought together.

Spending one point of elemental might (3 remaining) to take an "extra" standard action this turn, then using that standard action to defensively cast Splinter Spell Resistance on the scimitar.

Caster Level check for Vampiric Touch vs Yellow SR (with -5 penalty from Splinter Spell Resistance): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
If Vampiric Touch goes through (hoping Splinter Spell Resistance might have made the difference!) Tsrvk gains temp hp equal to the total dmg dealt (both from the spell and the weapon).

Tsrvk continues to dance with his scimitar and his foes, shifting 5' to the south to give his attention to the Aeverut when/if Yellow goes down.

The big bad guy takes the full impact of Garam's spell.

The green and blue minions manage to dodge the worst of it, as well as having some cold resistance.

(no AoOs because enemies are flat footed)

Tsrk discovers that the minions are not evil, but does manage to get through their spell resistance. All of his swipes hit other than the last one, but the enemy's damage reduction soaks up almost all the damage.

As Thargash's weapon is +6 when he rages it should overcome the creatures DR epic. If he manages to finish red, he will take a step to the southwest to bring blue and green within his reach (the most injured axiomite in range will be his secondary target if red goes down).

Just in case anyone missed it Thargash cast barkskin and communal airwalk on members of the party who needed it before we did the ritual.

For Isah's actions, as efreeti are only CR8 I suspect he is not going to be very effective with his weapons at this level, except to help provide flanking, so he is probably best used as a spellcaster if he is able to get to a location where he can safely use his spell like abilities.

GM, a couple of minor clarifications: I think Tsrvk's temp hp gained from Vampiric Touch should be 51 instead of 35 because for a magus you include the weapon dmg (even if it was mostly reduced by DR). Also, Yellow's SR reduction should be -5, not -1. Thanks! There's a lot to keep track of...

Gurkagh and Isah are up. It's late and I've been trying unsuccessfully for an hour to come up with something sensible for them to do, so I'll come back to this in the morning.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Gurkagh casts banishment, first targeting purple.

cast defensively: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
SR bypass: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
will save, roll only: 1d20 ⇒ 10

Purple disappears.

Isah tries to smack yellow with his trident.

attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36
1d10 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
1d10 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12

status:
blue, green -61 HP (about 1/4 damaged)
yellow -79 HP, SR -5
Tsrvk 47 temp HP

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

All three axiomites cast empowered order's wrath. They will catch all of you, including Isah, in the cube.

damage 1: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 5) = 16x1.5=24
damage 2: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 5) = 7x1.5=10
damage 3: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5) = 11x1.5=16

Aquana and Gurkagh are chaotic, so take full damage, pending saves
Tsrvk and Thargash are neutral, so take half damage, pending saves.
Garam and Isah are lawful and so take no damage.

Since this is messy, and we are trying to finish soon, I'm going to roll for each of you. I'm using your will save as shown in your header and adding your elemental might, so let me know if there are any other things that should apply, or if you want to use a reroll.

Aquana: 3d20 ⇒ (6, 1, 17) = 24 42 damage
Gurkagh: 3d20 ⇒ (13, 18, 10) = 41 25 damage
Tsrvk: 3d20 ⇒ (6, 1, 15) = 22 15 damage
Thargash: 3d20 ⇒ (15, 4, 9) = 28 12 damage

Aquana failed a save (actually 2) while being chaotic, so is dazed for one round.

The party is up now, although Aquana is dazed and so cannot act.

Gurkagh will try the same trick again, this time against blue.

Blue also vanishes back to where he or she came from.

Thargash's will save in his header had been adjusted to already include the elemental might, so I'm not sure if that would have had any impact on his save vs the order's wrath (I guess if it did it would only change to damage total as he is not chaotic)? Also I assume the axiomites would have cast defensively as they were all within Thargash's reach (and he has combat reflexes)?

Thargash will once again use a point of elemental might to get an additional attack action.

Having finished the aeverut, Thargash turns his attention to the remaining axiomites (he will target green initially and if green drops he will target yellow and will stop attacking any opponent as soon as they go down)...

As before his sword will go through DR up to and including epic. As he is air walking 5 feet off the ground I guess he would also get a +1 bonus to hit vs the axiomites due to higher ground?

All of Tsrvk's slashes hit yellow.

(I actually messed up a bit on Garam's attack, and green was more damaged than I thought; I am fixing that before applying Thargash's attacks)

Thargash's first two attacks eliminate green. He then turns his last attack on yellow, who is now badly hurt but still up.

Garam is up, with only one enemy left. He is clearly badly hurt.

Ranginori reabsorbs the elemental might he bestowed on you. He sweeps you and the shards of the Opal up without delay, whisking the entire group to a ruined palace on the Plane of Air before any other enemies can arrive. There he revels in taking a few breaths of clean air before thanking each of you in turn.

Isah notes that this concludes his service before he politely excuses himself with plane shift.

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

Ranginori tries to carry on a conversation with all of you, although he knows very little about what occurred during his captivity. He expresses his gratitude to the Pathfinder Society as a whole and you in particular for his freedom. He explains that he is not yet back to full strength, so is not going to be confronting the evil elemental lords for a while. He is interested in finding and setting free the other three good elemental lords.

After talking for a while with you, he takes you back to Lorehollow. He gives most of the pieces of the Opal to Sorrina to be buried forever in the darkest corners of the cosmos. He shows himself to the inhabitants of lorehollow, indicating that he will certainly not remain idle after taking time to recover his strength. Interesting times may be soon to come.

Sorrina, after respectfully seeing Ranginori off, asks you about your mission.

She passes on a copy of her notes to Sorrina but says, I think it was the rest of the party who did the actual work. I guess I ended up tagging along. Maybe I'd be better off on the Planes of Air or Water next time.

Interestingly, from what Isah told us, it would appear that the Aspis Consortium were also aware that we were looking for the Pyre although they did not know why and had dispatched agents to find out. Garam listens with interest to Raginori's tale, he tries to help the newly released Elemental Lord get up to speed on what has happened over the last several thousand years while he has been a prisoner. He is dying to ask him a load of questions about the ancient past but holds himself in check. Garam is also interested in the other elemental lords and eagerly agrees to join in any further hunts for them.

When back with Sorrina he throws himself into the most comfortable armchair. Well, that whole experience was hot, sticky and exhausting. However, we found out a load of interesting stuff and freed a massively powerful entity as well as dealing with what might actually not be an evil, conniving genie. All in all I would say that was mission complete. We did end up in a conflict with a bunch of axiomites alongside someone who thought he was the time police. Tsrvk bows low to Lord Ranginori, rather awed to be in the presence of such a divine being.

...

Later, back in Lorehollow, he recounts their adventures to Sorrina by means of an interpretive dance.

Perform Dance: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (20) + 22 = 42

While his various gestures are - as with any good art performance - open to interpretation - it's clear to all assembled that Tsrvk conveys enormity of the vast army of elementals, the fearsomeness of the barely eluded dragon, the cunning qualities of the captive djinn, and of course the automaton-like nature of the time lord cop. His herky jerky motions as he recalls the aeverut are particularly entertaining for the pathfinders as they recall their victory over that fearsome foe.

Reaching the end, Tsrvk bows deeply to Sorrina and all assembled. "May we dance together again soon!"
