GM Dak - Thornkeep Adventure! (Inactive)

I am opening recruitment for this game. We have just barely started to explore Thornkeep and the goal is to play though all of its levels. This IS a Pathfinder Society game so you will need to have a level appropraite PFS character. In this case we are specifically looking for a cleric at level 2. Would prefer if you just hit level 2 so that you level with the party, but it is not a requirement.

Great group of players. We have gone through the First Steps Games together and we are looking forward to completing Thornkeep! Please post with your interest below.

Current party is Ranger, Fighter, Bard. In addition to a cleric we may also potentially consider a rogue type.

Or an arcane boomstick :-p

I'd be interesting and willing, but as I'm relatively new to PFS play, I don't have any level 2 characters. That said, if you can't find anyone who does, let me know and I'd be happy to jump in. Good luck, either way.

I would like to apply with this character, a cleric of Sarenrae. He has been through 2 adventures already (Before Dawn, Part 1&2), so is very close to 2nd level.

If we do not get level 2 applicants I will consider level 1 applicants. However, in the later levels things may become increasingly difficult for you. Additionally, I will have to go back and look, but I think one of the dungeon levels would be outside of your level range since you would be a level behind. I will double check on this and confirm.

Ok...Unless I can get into a game to get the one extra Xp to level me to second. My other 2 PFS characters are a 2/1 Sorcerer/Fighter(Archer) and a 2nd level fighter.

I have already played levels 2 (The Forgotten Laboratory) and 3 (The Enigma Vaults). But if you end up needing one more player for lvl 1 (The Accursed Halls) only I have a 1.2 sorcerer that would love to join.

I guess we'll have to find a level 1 healer, if no level 2's are available.

We can do levels 1 but you will fall out of the level range on the last 2 levels of the dungeon since it is 5-7 and then 6-8. Unless the group as a whole wanted to run three side modules to bump up, but I suppose we can address that bridge when we get there.

I plan on closing recruitment on Friday so I can make a choice and get the new player(s) into the game over the weekend.

That ofc could also be one of the things we do, Dak?
Use him in this adventure, side quest one so he can level up, and then continue as a group on this path?

Not trying to tell you what to do though. I'm too smart for that :p

I have a level 2 Dwarven Inquisitor with CLW as one of his spells and a Wand of CLW, if that would be sufficient?

He just finished the Confirmation for his 3rd XP, it was reported but it looks like it hasn't posted yet.

Yeah we could definitely look at running a few modules in between. I will have to do some research on good ones that might make sense for the general area or tie into the overall story one way or another. Likely we would run something after the first couple dungeon levels, but I will do a little more research.
