Paëral, I believe you're correct about Stickylegs (whether it is still where we left it is another question). We don't have the shard yet - the reason we're here - but there is at least one more map to explore (to the west, I think - the door at the bottom of the map that we poked our heads through briefly), or it could be in the possession of The Suzerain or the blue guy. If Deric thinks he has completed his tasks, I think we should head back to find ol' Suzy-Q, then drop off Stickylegs with King Blue on our way out, and hold the next map until we have rested & leveled up. Barkot can keep going if that seems like the thing to do, though.

So... back to The Suzerain and then head back to town? Is that the consensus?

The party heads back past the mural and approaches The Suzerain's chamber. As they round the corner and see the remaining Lemure guards spread out, they hear The Suzerain's voice calling out from near the front rank of devils.

"Back so soon? You appear to all still be alive, as well. Hopefully, that means you were successful.

Where are my minions?"

Deric holds up Baz's corpse.

"They were slain, m'Lord…"

His voice sounds angry. "Slain?! How could you allow them to be slain?!"

Deric throws Baz'z corpse in the imp's direction. He holds up the two that belong to him. "They were dead when we got there. I brought them to you for proper rites should you have any."

"It was unfortunate, but whatever lies this Baz fed them must have been persuasive. Every one of them chose to fight to the death in his defense. Please, Suzerain, console yourself with the knowledge that this challenge to your power in Little Erebus has been utterly erased."

Squint calls out: "I told you we shouldn't be trusting them!" The halfling then turns his attention on Ulyi, murmuring a word of power. The glyph emblazoned on the eidolon's forehead glows brightly.

@Squint, did you apply Inspire Courage? It matters for the Bite attack.

As Ulyi flails away at the Lemure in front of him, an imp suddenly appears on Deric's shoulder.

In a harsh, hissing voice it whispers in his ear. "I'll see you roast on a spit, stupid human" as it jabs at the back of his neck. The taunting seems to have affected the imp's concentration as the stinger scrapes against the back of Deric's armor, missing the seam it was aiming for.

Hmmm... How to handle tripping an Imp on someone's shoulder? It isn't mounted so those rules wouldn't apply (even if they existed). All it has to do is open its wings and it easily makes the Fly check to avoid falling, but I don't want it to be quite that easy. I'm going to give it a DC 15 Reflex save to right itself and start flying before falling to the ground.

A loud *Crack* sounds next to Deric's ear, startling him as The Suzerain is ripped from his shoulder. Taken by surprise at the maneuver, he falls to the ground at Deric's feet.

The imp on Deric's shoulder starts flapping its wings again, causing Deric's hair to flutter forward into his eyes. Hovering behind Deric's head, he continues attempting to stab the fighter.
