I would be quite willing to be a player for a new GM, I am not opposed to a little helping gain experience. You can't call it swiping, when you can do more then one ^^

I will very likely not get picked for it. But that's ok, I don't have much experience with gestalt and I'm not as excited as most about the idea. Hell my idea of a godling ends up being a bastard child wanting to be a god to other bastard child races. (IE all those lovely plane touched children)
So, almost had to travel today and tomorrow (found out yesterday morning and had it canceled late yesterday afternoon). I do travel Thursday through Monday for work. Work is not giving me much spare time, overworking all of us here in the office. I'm exhausted and trying to not get sick from all of this. I'll post when I can, but I wanted to let you know what was going on.

And with everyone else already having a lot better fluff and ties, I didn't put enough effort into it. But if someone drops, I'll be happy to finish him out and throw the cosmos upside-down.

Bleh, sorry I've been so quiet. I"m having a hard time concentrating cause I've had to quit caffiene and switch to drinking only water to prevent future health problems. So I'm likely to be quiet for a few days more while I get over the caffiene withdrawals.
Caffeine withdrawals are rough! When I went to Japan a few years ago, it was pretty rough drinking only water for the first few days (Our 'chauffeurs' did not want us to get dehydrated as it was Summer and very hot, very humid!).
I'm still around, even if I haven't been posting much. Been traveling so much recently and that won't stop for another couple weeks, at least.

Also everyone, I don't know if it's stress or what, but I've been having occasional bouts of lightheadedness and nausea the past few days. Is there anyone here with a medical background? I would like to form a comprehensive list of things that it could be.
I'm posting on behalf of TheSilverPrince. He's going through some seriously awful stuff right now and wanted me to let you know he won't be posting tonight. He didn't say so, but I'm guessing he'll be AWOL for anywhere from a couple days to a week. Anyway, keep him in your thoughts/prayers, and he'll be back when he can.
Just creating a generic post for all my campaigns to explain things, because I feel emotionally exhausted. What happened last night was my friend tried to kill herself, but I managed to help stop her before she could finish. She's angry at me because I stopped her, but I didn't want her to throw her life away like that. I know I made the right decision, but knowing that she's mad at me breaks my heart. I just don't know what I can do to help her. She's got a lot of medical problems and has been depressed for years, which is further compounded by the actions of persona non grata as of late.
Any prayers you would send for me, send for her instead. I'm quite tough myself, but have difficulty when I cannot help someone I care about. I will try to post later today or tomorrow.
Sorry for burdening everyone with this problem, I just figured it was better to let everyone know what was going on so no one thinks I'm skipping out on my campaigns or anything.

Sorry to hear all that, I'm not real knowledgeable on the civilian side of things. If she is a veteran I can give you a lot of information to get her help but unfortunately like I said I'm terrible with the civilian world of info. Hope she calms down soon and sees that you just care about her and everything.
Just checking in to say I'm still around. I pray that all is well with both you and your friend, TheSilverPrince. I've been emotional support for someone after a traumatic event. It's rough on you as well as them.

RVT, who's TSP's friend in real life gave an update on the game I'm in with her. Apparently things got bad recently, and it hit Silver really hard. Hopefully RVT and TSP will both be back soon.

I just got a text from GMBlade. Apparently what he thought was stress is actually hypoglycemia. He's been in really rough shape physically and included a photo of his doctor's diagnosis note. I'm pretty sure he's been in the hospital. He feels terrible about all the delays but wanted me to assure you guys that he's not faking, still very much wants to continue the campaign, and will be back as soon as humanly possible. At the moment, he's waiting to find out whether or not it's a treatable form of hypoglycemia, but I'm sure he'll have another update as soon as he get that (extremely important) information. If everyone needs some extra reassurance, I can upload the photo he sent me to Google Docs.
Oh jeez... Hope that he gets better...

The basics of why I was absent is that I had a minor mental breakdown and have been having frequent low blood glucose levels from hypoglycemia, which is just now being reigned in (I have a diagnosis as proof, if anyone is interested in me putting a picture up,). Sorry for the clipped post, I just feel exhausted at the moment.

I feel excellent today. I actually got 5 hours sleep this morning! It doesn't seem like a lot, but considering I've been getting 4 or less for a while, it feels like Heaven! If anyone gets hypoglycemia, a small cup of orange juice and 5 saltine cracker sandwiches with mayonnaise and Gold Medal season salt about an hour before bed works wonders keeping glucose levels up!
