It's because they cleaned out the Cache at the same time. The slower load times is apparently a side effect, though it is only supposed to be short-term.

Late last night, our cat had a stroke and is no longer with us. Katsune will be taking a break from PbPs for a few days until the mourning process is complete. I'll continue to update when I get the opportunity, but it'll be slow.
Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that Whack&Kat! My cat had a stroke about 2 years ago and barely managed to pull through it. Truth be told, I cried like a baby until he pulled through, quite a sight given how much of a bad@$$ most of the people I know consider me to be. So I understand how hard it is for the two of you. Is there anything I can do for either of you?
And Monkey, don't think I forgot about you! How'd the surgery go? I hope they managed to save the majority of the bone and tissue. I will repeat from one of the above lines, is there anything I can do to help?
Half the toe got amputated. Its been going good though. Its usually just sore.
Um, things you can do to help? Keep running this game, level us, grant us mythic tiers, leave piles of treasure laying about, perhaps some artifacts or such? :P
Mostly, just the first thing. I really love this game, the group and GM, the character and where I intend to go with him.

And Monkey, it may take a while but it'll eventually not bother you hopefully. I know long term injuries like that, I myself have an injury that I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life. Bleh, anyways onto happier thoughts, yes?

Of course you can use one of the longswords to slit a guard's throat! They are located propped up against the wall.

I wouldn't give up on him just yet. We talked some via PM and he was very adamant about never abandoning a game. He might unfortunately leave it for awhile, but I believe he'll be back.
He has some crazy classes, and I'm sure lots of essays and tests. I am fine waiting for awhile longer before looking for a replacement DM.
Besides, I highly doubt we'll find somebody willing to let us to and use all we intended for this game.
I know I for one had gotten permission to pretty much make my own PrC using one of the ones from that Necromancy book that was linked to awhile back as my base.

Hello ladies and gents, honorable Lady R.V.T. is in attendance! First, a general announcement: THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL'S DAY PRANK! It's not up to a lady's decorum! ^_^ The Silver Prince has had some troubles with his cell phone and by that I mean the screen is kind of, well... destroyed. As it was a touchscreen phone he has been unable to use it. I would have messaged everyone earlier for him but I dropped college and since his phone has the broken condition was unable to contact me. I know it's not my place but... give him an easy time about it, ok? Poor guy's rolled a few natural 1's this year and he was adamant about me letting you folks know about this. I am letting him use one of my phones so he should be able to post tomorrow once he gets stuff set up and all that.
Now, for WotW, Blade respectfully asks Whack or Kat to watch their phones tomorrow for a pic of the phone and hopes they will post it somewhere so people know it's not just an excuse since he doesn't want to lose the faith of his players! He also asks if everyone has looked over the materials on Doc's drive, whoever Doc is, so far and what do they think? He also showed me some homemade material for the campaign; I'm so jealous! >_<
Most of the time I only stay on long enough to ask a question or order a book, but for my buddy, I'll try to stay on a few more hours to answer any questions you guys have to the best of my ability.
Having spoken to Blade awhile ago, and getting his assurance about how he does not plan to just disappear or drop the game, I already posted about giving him time. Of course, we all figured it was an overload of school work, not a busted phone, but its all good either way.
Let him know the whole group is still here, and has no problem waiting for his triumphant return.
I'm sure he'll be excited! ^_^
Also, if anyone is 'new GM friendly', I'm thinking about making a campaign or two on PBP!

MonkeyGod, I never really took an interest in PBP campaigns until I saw how cool TSP's are.
If anyone is interested, check out the recruitment thread under my profile. TSP said since I have trouble deciding on stuff like what kind of campaign I want to run, to just do like he did when he first joined and create an open-ended recruitment where players vote on a campaign setting from an approved list. I swiped a few of his ideas! ^_^
