Angela, glad that she didn't have to try keep up with the taller humans in the group for too long, takes in the sight of the place. It certainly has a certain beauty and grandeur, but I would still take the majesty of a well run city...

When the group approaches the king and queen, Angela gives a low bow and performs the formal greetings and observances recommended in Farlik's Courts and Nobility of The First World and Material Plane Fey. "It is a grand and distinct honor to be in your prescience, your majesties. I am Angela Isafira, and this man over here is..." She moves around the group giving introductions before moving on. "We represent the Pathfinder Society. Our humble organization is currently assisting the nearby Twinhorn Tribe retrace the steps of their savoir, the legendary paladin Ivvora."

"AS your graces are probably all to aware, Ivvora is said to have come here and tried to hunt down a white dragon that had been terrorizing this land. We are afraid that the current dragon and her hatchlings are in the same spot she or her ancestor lived in when Ivvora came through, and are planning on moving on the nest."

"While our organization is large, we could always use help, and we happened upon Enzial in the forest, and realized that your excellences are likely also dealing with a similar problem. I realize this is terribly presumptuous of me, but might we be able to petition you for support in our coming conflict?"

Kahwen is in obvious awe and wonder as they move into what he assumes is the realm of the fey. He is just as awe and wonder struck by the two fey nobles. He bows to them in his usual way, left hand over his chest, right hand extended to his side as he bends his torso parallel to the ground.

As the discussions begin, he addresses himself to the king, though he moves through his own companions and even the crowd as he does so, slipping in and out of sight as he does so.

"My companions are correct, your Majestic Highness. It seems that we Pathfinders and your people have found ourselves with a common enemy and similar goal. We have certain skills and abilities that will aid us in facing these dragons, but the aid and assistance of the beneficent and powerful is always welcome," he says as he weaves his way through the crowd, his voice sometimes seeming to come from thin air as he disappears from sight.

Angela recognizes the king to be an erkling, a fey known to be natural leaders, and undisputed kings of the fey kingdom represting the wild aggressive nature of the forest. The queen a hamadryad, often seen as leader among the dryads, devoted to keeping nature tame and beautiful and avoiding conflict wherever possible.

The King falls short of being impressed by Hadza's and Kahwen's openings. "I am not familiar with the beast that is called the mammoths, are you sure they are strong creatures? And what skills would you possess that would prove you to be as strong as you say you are?"

Did not meet DC.

Likewise the Queen fails to understand what possible reinforcement the Pathfinders could provide. "Are you certain that you would face a dragon? There is much at risk, and the lives of the innocent at stake."

Did not meet DC.

Angela's face hardens as her resolve is questioned by the queen. "We would not be here and wasting your time if we weren't resolved! I would believe you mean no disrespect with that question, but it is extremely painful that you would doubt our resolve and ability."

After a second she takes a deep breath, and continues. "WE are search for Ivvora's remains in hopes of learning of a way of sealing away a demon that is trying to breakthrough into this plane. I should hopefully not have to inform you of how devastating a second Worldwound would be? Especially one that is only a day or so's journey to the south of here. A dragon, even fully grown, would be piecemeal compared to that!"

Calming down from her emotional high for a second she continues, "We would appreciate any assistance that you might see to provide us, and would not even think of having you risk your followers if you are not willing. As my friend Haska suggested, even medical support would be appreciated beyond words!"

Quiselle gives a sly smile and says, “Your proposal intrigues us. We shall consider giving you our blessing when your need is greatest.” She then waves her hand, causing a rush of oak leaves to fall from the tree and whirl around everywhere. When the leaves clear, you find yourselves back along the frozen lake’s bank.

Big push to the end folks!

Following some very obvious Kobold tracks, the forest path leads northeast, where dense evergreens give way to steep, rocky foothills. Several intersecting trails lead up to the cave system’s main entrance partway up the Tusk Mountains.

Along the path, a chained animal lies in between the path into the cave. Alongside two kobold keep guard. The animal growls largely in your direction.

Kahwen is immensely relieved when the fey nobility deign to provide their aid. After his embarrassing performance at demonstrating his hiding skills, he was sure that they were going to laugh him out of their court. His fellow Pathfinders must have done a good job.

He is confused by what the aid that they're going to get provided is going to be when they are suddenly dumped on the side of the lake. Although, they're obviously not in their greatest need.

He is relieved when an obvious path opens ahead of them and they follow the tracks to the kobold caves.

"A wolf? I thought goblins liked wolves, not kobolds," Kahwen comments.

Following his usual tactic, Kahwen rushes ahead, drawing his sword as he moves down the trail, though he cuts into the forest at the last moment, taking cover in the trees when he realizes that he won't be able to get to his opponents before they get a chance to bring their bows to bear.

In a unusual turn of events, the wolf growls loudly but turns to roar on his captors. In fear the kobolds drop their weapons and turn to run down the hill, with the wolf following hot on their tail with bloodlust eyes. This conveniently leaves the entrance free for the Pathfinders.

The kobolds continue to mount a frustrating defense, luring Pathfinders into cramped and trap-filled tunnels and unleashing captive monsters on unsuspecting agents. Even so, the kobolds are losing ground with each battle. As another skirmish echoes from elsewhere in the caverns, a tremendous roar reverberates through the cave complex, rattling stalactites and causing snowdrifts to slide down the outside slopes. As the sound dissipates, the voice of a massive creature booms from deep within the kobolds’ warren. “Long ago my ancestor Grathatonhakis ruled here, and a meager dwarf challenged his might only to become his trophy. Both were fools, and both are now dead. I am neither, and your paltry attacks shall not change that. Fall back, kobolds of the Shiverscale tribe! Let these intruders die in sight of the last fool to challenge Horralydax, the master of the Tusk Mountains. Rally to me, my children. Today we dine on adventurers!”

The kobolds kowtow to the booming voice, scramble to their feet, and begin retreating deeper into the caves. For once they aren’t covering their tracks, so the way to the dragon’s lair is clear.

A narrow cavern to the east opens into a larger cave. A gently sloping ramp descends counter clockwise to an elaborately carved column of ice. A vast pile of gold, jewels, furs, and immense bones lie piled around the column. The deeper you travel into the tunnels, the larger you hear the breathing of a beast, whom you can only expect as one of the dragon Horralydax's spawn!

You can combat prep as you require before combat.

And soon enough, you come face to face with a white dragon along with his kobold minions! But to everyone's surprise, the dragon looks rather small. The dragon’s scales are a frosty white. Its head is crowned with slender horns, with a thin membrane stretched between them. Regardless of it's size, it looks ferocious with an agenda to kill.

Angela grabs ahold of the charm that the fey court gave the group and feels a little bit of warmth wash over her. She then decides to drop her pack and reach back for her longspear.

AS she moves forward she starts spouting off all of the information she knows about the dragon. "Oh, that's a great white wrymling dragon, it's not even fully grown, I have a feeling the rumors about this dragon were either greatly exaggerated or this is a hatchling. Either way the only things really worrisome are the cold breath attack that Hadza just felt the brunt of and it's complete immunity to cold, sleep and paralysis."

Angela slides into place just north of Haska, trying to avoid being in a big lump and making a nice target for an icy breath.

That is correct Haska..

Nigel once more brings his extraplanar ally to assist in combat, but the cold weather gets the better of the eagle as it struggles, moving slowly, to make an impact against the dragon.

Dark lets loose a magical bolt that knocks into the dragon, slightly enraging it. Meanwhile Kahwen provides some range support striking a head shot at the standing kobold nearest to the dragon causing it to fall unconscious.

The Kobolds on the lower level raise their slings and throw stones at Kahwen. However, they just can't seem to get their shots right as it flies way away from the tengu.
