So I want to run at least one core game with the potential to make it a campaign (possibly even grabbing one of the "campaigns" someone worked out before.)

Check Main thread for some questions I have for each of you, and feel free to discuss possible characters, campaigns, etc. here. As of right now I don't intend to open the games to anyone else so you guys can work out what you want to do.

This is Alex. I have a credit on this character already, but I don't think I'll remain a Ranger. In fact, I'm gonna call it right now - I'm playing a Cleric. It will, in all likelihood, be somewhat similar to Bobo, but I haven't totally figured out where I'm going with it just yet.

Elf Rogue (the only core race I'd never played before) - should have him statted out in a few days.

Sounds like we need a front liner front line Pally should be statted up in a bit.

This is like odd, I get to play something in front.

Okay, I think I've got my character blocked out. I still need to spend about 500 gp, but everything else is done. I'm gonna write a bit of detail about what this character can do below; I figure the information might be useful to others for planning their own characters. If you know what's already taken care of, you can plan how to fill the gaps better.

My strategy will mostly be to tank, flank, and offer some buffs. Using the Bit of Luck ability on our primary damage dealers will probably occupy a lot of my standard actions for now, but eventually he'll be a half-decent DPR character in his own right, and have more spells to cast. I'll spend a lot of PP on scrolls and wands as well.

Essentially, I'll be a very traditional support cleric. I'll have trouble-shooting spells, and try to buff the real DPR machines as much as I can. Also, I have a wand of CLW for out of combat healing. I dumped CHA, so don't expect me to channel in combat much.

He's not amazing skill-wise, but I've got Knowledge (religion), a bit of Perception and Sense Motive, and Spellcraft. I am not a party face.

Do we know if we are getting a fifth arcane type, if not she's still in rewrite and I can make her arcane.

I have a level 3 sorcerer as another option - I didn't think the pbp he was in was going to end anytime soon, but it looks like it might. I'm okay playing either. Up to the rest of you.

I just had an odd epiphany... which Steve are we waiting on? The one I have to hit upside the head to tell them they have fb messages (i.e. may not have read the initial message)?

I think so, yes :)

Also, my other pbp ended, so I can bring a Level 3.0 Sorcerer or a 1.1 Rogue for these. If we're all starting at 1 and going up together, I'll stick with Curomel, though.

My Steve and anything like email/message boards don't get along well, because work gets busy and he forgets about it. I would hate to end up running a second PC because he's swamped. I tossed it off him a bit ago and not the greatest idea in his mind and its nothing against you all and everything to do with not being able to post consistently and making people wait for him or just tossing a PC off on me.
