KInetic Healing? WITCHCRAFT!!!!!11
I've been ramping up CR of encounters or even combining encounters to make a group of five more balanced in terms of combat. I can just stop that and hand wave it. (At the same time, the AP explicitly has a great archer coming along with you all, and I've opted to keep her out of combat for the most part as I'd rule she's watching her kids.)
I worry that slowing down leads to discontent among the entire group, so I'll try to keep the same pace.
I haven't heard back from Dien, but it sounds like we have a plan!
Hey guys, sorry to be so slow chiming in. Thanks for all the kind words about enjoying Chiquq in the game. I really like all of you and I just wish I was able to summon the in-game effort to roleplay as this party deserves! I'm gonna try and give it another shot when things in my life settle down slightly. Thanks for your patience.

Dien, you're a strong player, and Chiquq is awesome and actually quite grounding to the game. I feel lucky to have such a great group of players, honestly, so that goes for all of you.
By the way, if anyone else ever feels overwhelmed, or that their character isn't given a chance to shine, or why didn't you get a chance to actually attack the archers, or wants to obtain a falcon as an animal companion, or anything, my lines o' communication are always open. :)

What ya'll described is good to me, I'm happy to have Chiquq as a DMNPC as long as possible, she's a great addition to the group personally and professionally. I'd hope Dien could come back at some point, so I'd rather the character stay involved.

I dropped out of my ROTRL group as it was on Yahoo! Groups and a. Yahoo Groups is dying . b. PbEmail is slow as molasses and I had to just ugh, I had to just UGH!

I plan to try to disarm Garen of the pipes next round. What do I roll for that?
Disarm is a Combat Maneuver using your CMB; you trigger an AoO unless you have Improved Disarm.
But maybe Garen is unarmed?? Or has no natural weapons? So it wouldn’t actually provoke?
For that matter, does the quickling provoke from Ogon for their attack, or do they have a shenanigans they are using?
Seems like the quickling would normally provoke both closing for the attack and leaving after. Also, could the quickling move, attack, and then move?
Not good odds for the disarm. I was hoping he could use his rapier. Dez may need to take out, but not kill Garen, assuming he's awake.
If it has Spring Attack then it could do all those things and not provoke AOO's as long as it attacked Ogon.

Ogon has surmised correctly. And satyrs have horns, which are natural weapons. That much looks obvious to you; I won't require a Kn Nature roll on that one. :) Or Kn Local...

Does the cold DR from the chain shirt stack with Dez's racial cold DR? Do any other PCs use (or would like to use) a chain shirt?

I did a dumb Encumbrance check and saw that Dez was dragging at Medium Encumbrance. You can sell the leather coat in Whitethrone (maybe); but it was your weaponry that was slowing you down. If you put your crossbow bolts on a pack animal, you're fine. I don't recall you using them much! With the chain shirt your max Dex modifier goes up as well, which is nice.
My understanding is the extra stuff was on a pack animal. I do need to spend a few minutes cleaning up a few details.

I agree, in the fishcamps/whitehome we should do a checkup. Get everyone’s wealth and gear together so that we can make sure everyone’s got an equal share. My sense is that we’re about 1.5 levels behind, with Orik at almost 4 in terms of WBL.
Sounds good. I am fine with spending some time to make sure we are balanced. I am reading a bit about ABP and/or scaling items in ROW. ROW is set up where there are few places to buy and sell, but I don’t mind adjusting this in Whitethrone via handwavium.
More than anything I just don’t want to bogard all the good stuff. :)
A brief perusal shows Orik at 6,077 gp of wealth, and everyone else is lagging. However, these are sometimes situational things like the ushanka and the rimepelt.
What do people feel about ABP? That way we don't worry as much about the flavor-specific goodies of the AP. Additionally, let me know what goodies you all are missing and want to find. E.g. Yrja and witch stuff or a metamagic wand, which (no pun intended) won't appear naturally. I bet.
That being said, I should check the loot sheet and I can email everyone their Hero Lab items (they are also on Dropbox) to see if I'm missing anything.

I'll start modifying character sheets in HL. For some reason it won't do weapon and armor attunement, so I will add it as an enhancement or untyped bonus.
I'll have to make the weapon attunement to work like Weapon Focus. That's annoying! Wolflair forums provide no answer to this conundrum. If you don't mind having a primary weapon with Weapon Focus or Greater Weapon Focus, that'd be cool. If you switch lemme know and I'll shift the feat.
Orik, which weapon do you want to have a focus in?
Longbow, if possible. Most of his feats are going towards that eventually.
How does ABP work with kinetic blade? I'm assuming it doesn't? I think all the others are fine.
What will happen to my belt of Con? Keep until we get the physical boost and then I get 4k back?
I won’t take away magic items. For Ogon it’s Weapon Focus and Greater Weapon Focus Kinetic Blast.
Cool about the feats :) Will I still be able to spend gold to upgrade the belt then? Only two stats I care about are Str and Con. :)

I got auto-bonus progression working with my bow on my herolab. There's a separate tab for it. I only checked the desktop app.
