Appologies, been very sick the last few days.

Is there any interest in a table of Rise of the Serpents for the upcoming PBP game day?

I was thinking of running a table.
Were you thinking of running or playing?

I was going to say that I don't have any characters available. But then I noticed that it uses specific pregens.

Sorry I meant that I was thinking of running one of the tables for Siege of Serpents. Wouldn't mind playing in Rise of the Serpents if there is no restriction.

Assuming those are the two specials that were played at PaizoCon (which I believe they are) I have played in both.

Since they are supposed to be related and I haven't done either, I would love to do either one of them or even both.

They're super fun, I highly recommend them. Is there a date for the next PbP gameday, by the way?

Vplitletz, what do you mean by "learn the system"? Do you mean the movements on the map? Way I understand it, as long as you stand on the hut, you're moving with the hut. Bad guys are coming from the direction we're heading towards. GM has noted how far they are from us, so if they are in range of a fireball, just chuck one at them.

Btw, I'd be keen to play both Siege of Serpents and Rise of Serpents with you guys.

Good to hear from you. Since you are a 2 star GM, I hope you don't mean you need to learn the Pathfinder rule system. If you have any questions about how the map is moving, please let me know and I will clarify it here.

Here's a quick summary:
Right now, the drakes are 220ft away from you.
They are flying towards you and you are on the hut that is running towards them. The hut will move 120ft closer to them on its turn, reducing the distance to 100ft.
By the end of next round, the drakes should be on the map and melee combat will probably start.
As long as you stay on the hut, you can just refer to the map as normal to see where everyone is, or refer to the gameplay thread if there are monsters who are too far to be on the map.

If you're going to be part of the game, there's no reason for you to be sitting out a whole fight. It's not fair to the other players, and everything you need to know is in the gameplay thread. There's also no reason for you to be posting only once a week. Once per weekday and once per weekend is usually a fair minimum to make sure things keep moving. (This is not a hard and fast rule but a good guideline, and applies to everyone including the GM.)

Let me know if you have difficulties, but please don't just disappear without checking in. Before you post again in the gameplay thread, I need to know how regularly you can post.

I have four stars, so I could run Serpent's Rise and either run or play Siege of the Serpents.

I'm keen for the Serpent's Rise and Siege of Serpents games too.

Are those 'finish-by' or 'start-by' dates with regards to PbP?

Start on September 19th, finish by November 3rd for Serpent's Rise.
Start on November 5th, finish by December 20th for Siege of the Serpents.
Start on/after September 19th, finish by December 20th for any other games attached to this gameday.

I've put up a recruitment thread for Siege of Serpents. My d8 decided that I should run for subtier 4-5.

I applied with Selter Saga. He is in a PbP at the moment but should easily be done by Sept.

The Siege tables don't start until November, so you should be doubly safe. :)

If you want to keep yourself entertained in the meantime, Serpent's Rise tables are starting in September.

So we got these toys earlier from the mage we took down. Any suggestions on the division? Who has unused item slots?

2 potion of cure serious wounds
scroll of dimension door
scroll of whispering wind
amulet of natural armor + 1
cloak of resistance +2
ring of protection +1

I'm inclined to have Alden take the necklace of fireballs so he has a ranged blast option when things don't want to come into melee. He and 42 should probably also take a potion of cure mod each - Exiel is hard to hurt and can heal himself, Lavode and Nienna should not be in the thick of things getting hurt.

Scrolls are either Lavode or me, probably Lavode.

Amulet of nat armor, cloak of resist and ring of prot should go to anyone who has spare slots. I think Alden/Naala have all 3 slots free?

I actually don't have an amulet, but a +1 isn't going to make any difference with my 15 AC clear up to a whopping 16. So if any one else wants it, feel free.
I have dimension door as a spell known and I'm full up on rings and cloak. If no one wants, it I'll take the ring of pro to swap with my ring of feather fall. But as I said, AC isn't important to me, so someone else gets first dibs on it.
I wouldn't mind the whispering wind scroll though. Might be useful.

When Frost Worm #2 used his breath weapon, was he aiming at where 42 was originally at, or where he flew to after he cast Stinking Cloud?

It was not a breath weapon. This was the 'death throes' ability that you found out about with your knowledge check. It explodes when it dies. Sorry 42. :(

Do you have any boon you could use to mitigate the damage? Or do you have enough prestige for a raise dead?

The boon option is 'Rune of Life'.

"Your effective Constitution score for determining when you would die form hit point damage increases by 7. It's actually not bad since it is the only rune option that is always 'on'. The rest of them are use-activated. And today it will keep 42 alive.

Exiel, questions about MONSTROUS PHYSIQUE, If i transform into a 4 armed gargoyle could i hold onto weapons in 3 of the hands?

I discussed this with Exiel's player before. Only the creatures in bestiary 1-4 are legal for polymorph effects in pfs.

I want to apologize to you folks for disappearing like that. That is not normally the way I behave. Besides witch I was having fun and enjoying the romp against the badguys.
The reason (not an excuse) was that I got completely hacked. All of my public accounts were screwed up. Offensive emails were sent to all my contacts. Information stolen. Business relationships were strained. Etc… By the time I got most of that straightened out and repaired, I just couldn't bare the thought of spending more time online just for the fun of it.
Again, I'm sorry for leaving you in the lurch like that. It is not typical behavior for me.
