"There only seems to be a single healing potion, so I was leaving it for our friend forty-two here."
We really need another wand. LOL

The lock on the door is immense and remarkably sturdy, and even with an adamantine weapon it actually takes Exiel almost 2 minutes of constant hammering to finally break through. (This is the lock, not the door itself.) However, he presses on, as he realizes that whatever is being secured by that lock must be important and/or valuable indeed!
The door opens to Yrax's personal vault. Inside is an immense collection of wealth, truly worthy of the title dragon's hoard. The
riches consist of:
75604 cp, 8773 sp, 6111 gp and 165 pp in a variety of coins, bars, and ingots
a black pearl worth 500 gp
two emeralds worth l000 gp each
a fire opal worth 650 gp
a sapphire worth 1100 gp
and exotic hides , furs, and pelts worth a total of 5,000 gp
Gloom blade
a set of dragonbone divination sticks
a drinking horn of bottomless valor
a manual of war
oil of magic vestment
potion of Good hope,
a ring of x-ray vision
a scroll ofhallucinatory terrain
a suzerain scepter
a dull, pitted spherical rock 1-1/2 feet in diameter displayed on a sumptuous silk-covered stand - the rock is of exactly the same color as Exiel's hammer and weighs over 850 pounds!
an unadorned leather case holding a long metallic tube and several other delicate mechanical devices , including a powerful telescope, an astrolabe, a sextant, a cylinder of star charts, and other astrophysical instruments, each beautifully constructed and exceptionally accurate (worth 7,000 gp as a set)
a humanoid mannequin wearing a simple white shawl, which Lauriel easily identifies as belonging to a nereid and which would grant control over the creature to whom it rightfully belongs

One of the pelts in the collection is easily identifiable as that of a bear - a creature that you previously learned is found nowhere on Triaxus, and is thus almost certainly the second token you are looking for. You could dimension-door out of the fortress and drag your loot back to your allies, and then make your way back to Spurhorn, effectively finishing your mission... or you could stay and explore more of the fortress if you wish.

I think we should continue on and gain the use of all of these wonderful items for at least a little while. The Suzerian Scepter is pretty amazing for me (I might buy it if it's on the chronicle sheet at the end). I could also make excellent use of the Drinking Horn of Bottomless Valor.
We should definitely take the white shawl, as we might run into the nereid to whom it belongs and can try to bargain with her to give it back, or simply keep control over her until we are finished with the fortress.

Both items are on the chronicle sheets, but you should have enough fame to access them anyway if they are normally PFS-legal. If they are not, they are for you now.
Exiel and 42, do you want to keep exploring?

42 looks at the potion before speaking. "We've finished on what we need to do, right?" he looks around at his friends. "I don't know about you, but i am tapped."

"I can keep going if need be, but I do not think this to be such a kind place that we can roam about with impunity, even with the head-honcho dead. We have slain the tyrant, we have his hoard and we have the artifact we came to get. With our limited healing resources, taking what we've got and leaving might be the wiser course of action."
Provided 'mission complete' means we also don't lose out on any gp earned for the scenario. ;)

"Alright then, friends. Let's go home. It's been an extremely busy day."

You gather up your loot, and then following the plan you previously made, you teleport out of the citadel laden with the treasures from one of the most powerful dragonlords in all Triaxus. You begin to wonder how you are going to drag all your loot back to Spurhorn, but your concerns quickly change when you hear the sounds of battle rise up around you and getting gradually closer. You brace for combat, but are relieved when you are met by a group of adelts led by none other than Baknarla herself.
Baknarla tells you that with the backing of Sarnok's raiment, she was able to rouse her tribe to battle and raise cause a distraction to cover your escape. When the adlets see the great wealth you are carrying, they quickly realise what it means - no dragon would willingly part with their hoard whilst they yet drew breath! They tell you that with Yrax and Malesinder both slain, the Drakelands presence in this area would soon crumble, and they would be able to retake their ancestral homeland. In a show of gratitude, they help you bear your treasures back to Spurhorn, along with Nevra and Bescaylie.
Back at Spurhorn, you are all received as heroes, though the deaths of Efrixes and Talsune dampens the mood somewhat. They are posthumously decorated as heroes for the part they played in getting you Ivoryglass. Nevra and Bescaylie are also honoured, and Bescaylie is promoted to take Talsune's place at the council. At the celebrations, Pharamol and Baknarla begin talks of an alliance and start discussing plans for ousting the Drakelands forces from Spurhorn to Ivoryglass.
Eventually, the time comes for you to go. Most of your loot is loaded onto the Dancing Hut easily enough, but the adamantine rock proves quite unwieldly and its weight causes the Hut to resist all attempts to bring it inside. Eventually, you are forced to leave it behind - a gift for the Skyfire Mandate, and Pharamol and Baknarla promise you that every weapon and armor they craft from the rock will be made in your honour for the part you played in completely turning the tide of their struggle. Their war is far from over, but your intervention here has put victory, for the first time in decades, finally within their grasp.
And when your final farewells are made, you place the tokens within the bubbling cauldron in the Dancing Hut. There is a brief lurching motion as the pelt and eagle disappear, only to reappear on the shelves of the hut again. The air that blows in from the open door of the hut is warm... a feeling you had almost forgotten since you left for Triaxus, and a clear sign that after a long, long mission, you are finally home.
And that concludes the adventure! Thanks you for playing and sticking around to the end!
You can do your day job rolls. I'll do the reporting and chronicle sheets over the weekend.

Hey guys, sorry for the late chronicles. I've been sick and trying to wrap up another game at the same time. It was the PBP Game Day special, so I wanted to give it my attention.
I'm feeling better now and should be able to get the chronicles out soon.
Thanks for your patience.
Link to chronicles will be posted here.

Sorry for the delay, guys. I've been both sick and trying to wrap up a game for the PBP game day special. And trying to arrange Christmas family stuff. Been very busy.

![]() |

No problem, Zey! It's been a pleasure so far. Are we continuing on into another module?
I'm actually considering taking that wolliped companion. They're pretty cool looking: Wolliped mini. Naala has been adventuring with Alden for several years now and has died once or twice, so she might be getting a bit worn out. What do you guys think?

![]() |

It becomes large and can trample, but I dig it most for being able to vomit at a target once per hour. Perfect if you see someone you want to humiliate in style. Even if they make their save, they are still covered in wolliped vomit.
Ralph is exactly ready for Eyes of the Ten now, and I think Exiel will be as well if he gets to play a module he was hoping to play. Were you guys going to do Eyes with these characters?
For now, I am done for this year. Christmas and New Year will keep me busy for the next 2 weeks at least. But I'm open to plans for next year.

I am on slow path for this AP portion, and will be doing another in an online session on Monday to hit level 12 at 33xp. And I am certainly hoping to play EoTT with Exiel! =)
Not sure how that works out for Alden and 42 though.
