Ain't that always the case? I'll take whatever HP I can get at this point. Any chance we have a CLW wand or potion somewhere?

Thanks, Harboth grumbles. It is hard to tell whether he is being ungrateful or is just in pain

Opening the doorway to the east reveals the following:

A mournful howl comes from a stone well in the room's center. This large chamber's walls, once painted with vermilion and gilded with gold leaf, are now splotched and crumbling. Unlike the walls, however, the tiles that decorate the well are untouched by the ages and gleam as if recently polished.

Perc checks please...

jubei and Marisan:
looking down in the well you do detect evil in the bottom of it. There appears to be a skeleton down there, it is not moving or standing and appears to be truly dead. Give me a will save at dc 14 and if failed roll surprise round init. Failing the will save gives you the suggestion to throw your self down the well, life simply isn't worth it anymore. Haunted well has init of 10. If you fail will but beat init you can morosely proclaim your intent. OOC: This isn't going to kill anyone (almost nothing in these first 3 adventures will kill you...trust me, I'm the GM. :) ). However, it will give you quite the jolt. As for having all of your attention on Jubei, you still have periferal(sp?) vision that is going to see down the well as you grab for him. This is actually one of my favorite traps in these three adventures :) as for getting out, its a rough climb check, but its easily doable. As for this path, its more just a get your feet wet with the types of things PFS will throw at you in the future. As for getting out, once the hour is up it'll just be a 'take 20' deal. Also, don't forget guys, this isn't like last time. the Venture Captain isn't waiting for you to finish this in one day....go camp, rest, heal, refresh spells...

all that said, I really wanna see if we can get all six of you in the well :)

OOC: Marisan, your out, but you want to get down that Haunted Well...and will continue to want to get down there for the next hour... Ok, enough fun with this little Well....I'm gonna progress time to the next hour, to avoid the rest of this mess. Harboth has the strength to pull whoever is down the well up once they are free. What do you want to do with the dead skeleton that is already down there? Just let it lie in peace?

Also, if you guys want, I'm going to call it 'Next Day' for heal/spell/etc purposes and everyone left the ruins and found a safe, quite place to camp. marisan, if you have any more Channel Energy or Healing spells left, use them up before you sleep, then study and blah blah blah.

UNLESS, you guys want to RP out what the hell your doing throwing your lives away down the well, which could be fun, but time consuming...GenCon is only 3 weeks away after all :)

Assuming you guys don't get stopped, roll the 2d6 damage from the fall, since your doing this willingly, no acrobatics to negate 10' of the drop.

Reasoning that the skeleton is likely another victim of this foul magic, he gathers up the bones to give them a decent burial.

After an hour of suicidal thoughts, Marisan comes out the other side in a daze. She takes a few moments to shake off the after-effects. "Thanks, Harboth. I've never known such despair in my life." She keeps far away from the well as possible. "I'm inclined to leave the skeleton down there as it is. We're not here to clean this place up, and we can duly report the hazard to the Grand Lodge."

Marisan will gather Harboth, Jubei, Fedryn and anyone else who fell down the well.

Once the bones have been settled and given a proper burial, the haunting of the well comes to an end. You have freed this trapped soul to go onto its final resting place.

Assuming you guys rest, relax, recoup and head back in...

You re-enter the ruins the same way you exited them, the lay of the land now known, and most, if not all of its pests disposed of. it takes little to no time to return to the room with the haunted well. it has finally succumbed to age and begun to show signs of disuse, the spirits that kept it new looking now put to rest.

There is a doorway to the north that is closed, as well as the door you came through...and the well if you choose to jump in again.

OOC: For my Magic Users, I'm assuming you've spelled up and all that jazz. The next couple of rooms holds the dragon :)

Pulling open the north facing door reveals the following on the other side

This large room is an aged gallery. Its once-decorated walls have been stripped of the original mosaics and its decorations replaced with Draconic graffiti, crudely etched into the walls. Other than the scrawl on the walls, the chamber is noticeably cleaner and less dusty than the dungeon’s other rooms.

On the far side of the room you see four kobolds, they were in a heated discussion...until the door was forced open. Now they stand, three at the ready with one slightly back, starring at the new comers to their lair.
