"Appearances can be deceptive," Fedryn states to Rachel. He sits nursing an ale, awaiting the arrival of their contacts.

M Human Lots of class, and high levels of it!

It is getting to be late when a couple enter the inn and take a seat near the aquarium, the table is a small one, with only a few chairs at it. He sets a carefully wrapped bundle on the table and then begins to wait. Pulling the hair back on both of their heads into tight pony tails shows the gills on their necks. As they sit there doing nothing but waiting Nestor slowly gets up, using his cane to balance himself as he wanders over and takes a seat.
, easing hisself down gently.

you are from the Low Azlanti embassy, I assume.. He says, waiting for confirmation. Taking the small package from out of his pouch he sets the Lodge artifact before himself. Requesting permission to inspect the other artifact he carefully unwraps what appears to be a very old tablet of some sort. Turning it over in his hands as he inspects it.

The Gilman who is seated does the same with the other artifact before smiling and setting back down re-wrapped. The woman behind him obviously there for his protection.

Ooc: there is room at the table for on, if anyone would like to take a seat and aid in the appraisal of the artifact to see if we can make a deal. Appraise skill would be required for this

Elwyn figures a seat at the table can't hurt, he's seen a few tablets in his time and he might have a thought about the true price of this one. Besides, if something should go wring, he'd like to be closer to the action than not.

Nodding, Nestor takes the item back from Elwyn and looks at it with a keen eye. (Appraise: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24) Setting the item back down on the table he looks at the two Gilmen before him with a smile as they smile back and begin to stand to leave. (everyone make a sense motive save to avoid being startled by the crash of the clay mug as the bartender drops it).

Ok, this is the last deal for this guys. We've got people scattered around the bar, but its not a big place, so you can reach the center where the party is as a full move action, however, lets see if anyone is suprised first.

Once we've done that, I'll post what is done during the suprise round, and you all can do your Init, and rounds 1, 2 and 3...I expect everyone will be dead on my side by round 2, but lets see if I can get away with the relic just in case.

No magic on the tablet,

It's old, but its nearly worthless...it appears to be a burial listing for an old king in a nearly forgotten language, while it is of some value, it is nothing like what we were told it would be. Nestor chimes in. Scooping up the real relic, he returns it to his pack after inspecting it to ensure no damage has been done to it in the struggles.

A search of the bodies reveals a ltter on the bartender outlineing how the Aspis Consortium has succeded in duping the PFS into giving over a relic for worthless junk, all without implicating themselves and sowing discord with the Low Azlanti Embassey....obviously it was meant to be sent AFTER they had succeded.
