Alrighty, it's taken a few days but I've developed some stuff in the Chitterwood and created Shakriyar, Chelaxian rug merchant -- and thought through your plans.
If you want to talk to Shakriyar now go ahead -- we can also plow through the Chitterwood, declaring that simultaneous dialog with the Chelaxian merchant happened earlier.
But in the Chitterwood, if you want to find goblinoids, you'll have to go deeper. It seems as though you'll have to plan for a few days being away from civilization -- if one wanted to call Isger 'civilized.'
And we can start with Survival checks for tracking or whatever strategies you may want to employ (divination magic or reverse-ambush or something) to find you some Goblinoids.

Apologies for such a long delay, almost a whole week. Things have been so busy that I have not gotten to The Boards at all (and have let slip all three PbPs I'm in.)
I'm more free now -- and looking forward to your gambit with the Norkers. Let's see if you can manipulate them and any other Goblinoids to set your plans in motion.
But Holy Gygax I sure hope one of you speaks Goblinoid or this is gonna be extremely difficult for you!

Let me know if you want to do anything during the night or the following day before you meet at the big old rock that the Norkers call 'Lamashtu's Egg.' But I will begin the meeting with Boss Ragshade asap.
I'm pretty sure I described that big ole thing when you first entered the forest -- a well-known landmark that has been used for as long as living memory as a meeting place or point of note. There is no magic or divinity there, though certainly quite a bit of history has happened there.
It is a significant Knowledge Society Check to have heard of Boss Ragshade but one can certainly attempt it.

I had a bit of a relapse with my depression... will try to get things back on track asap

LOL, Aurilous
Speeking of breeding,....
....In our Sunday game we are tracking down various artifact weapons in order to be able to defeat an attempt by Cultists of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to bring back the Oinodaemon, Anthraxus. Cultists of Norgober are helping them.
I just got my artifact from the lair of an Ancient Red Dragon with an advanced Iron Golem bodyguard and tribe of Fire Giant Barbarians. It's a +5 Holy Vorpal Dwarven Longaxe (re-flavored as a Viking Longaxe from the Linnorm Kings' Lands) that the Iron Golem wielded.
Anyway -- the Paladin of Iomedae in the group (a new Player) -- has learned that the artifact the gods want him to wield is in Treerazer's lair. And even though we're APL 12 / Mythic Rank 4, we can't attempt an assault in Tanglebriar on fricking Treerazer!
So in a roleplaying twist, the DM has said that Calistria (whose Taldoran High-Priestess Mistress is an old ally of ours) has arranged on our behalf a deal with friggin LAMASHTU -- if one of us (the Paladin) BREEDS with Lamashtu, the Mother of Monsters will get the artifact from Treerazer for him.
This Sunday we have to figure out how to handle it.

Regarding game-pace....
I've been averaging twice-per-week contributing posts in Gameplay. Is that sufficient to keep everyone's interest?
I know it's slow.
I'm going to try to contribute thrice-per-week starting this week.
How's it going for you guys?
.
And on another front....
Is this 'PC-Driven' thing working? (How well?)
Do you feel comfortable moving the campaign-plot forward so far, Sandbox-style?
(You chose Isger. You chose after an intro to go to the Chitterwood. You're choosing to create something with this Boss Ragshade Hobgoblin. I assume you're going to choose to take something from Isger's "Second City" with which to proceed with the Goblinoids. Etc.)
DM Ray
@ Zartana,
To keep me better informed, do you see Drow more like the early '90s Forgotten Realms, Drizzt Do'Urden/House Baenre on-the-surface Drow? Or more like the Pathfinder on-the-surface Drow?
It really doesn't matter to me how the average Commoner, Expert or Warrior in a given Pathfinder city or village would react to seeing a Drow. I'm somewhere between the reaction made cliche in FR and the almost-complete ignorance in Pathfinder (just another evil humanoid monster).
But it seems like you're really in to how FR use Drow.
Let me know and I can keep that in mind and employ it when appropriate. (I mean, if you chose Zartana's Race based on the FR perception and stereotype of Drow I'll make sure you get opportunities to experience it.)
DM Ray
And, speaking of which, as this isn't a home-game where we can chit-chat about PCs and character background and such, y'all can all let me know what direction you'd like to see your PC go, outside of the pure campaign -- aspects and elements for your character you may be interested in seeing. I'm developing the campaign as it moves forward, knowing your characters better can only help me make the campaign deeper, better.

weapons and armor, food, cheap stuff and lots of it, we want the war banding and breading. This will give the war boss leverage. We don't have to be there at all. My PC news a bandit who can do the shipment for coin and others.
This will take a few years, shipments to them once a mouth.
Breading say 5 to 10 years.
So moving on to next state, this one is baking.
DM Ray
I have no objection to this.
You can quickly tell Boss Ragshade that you will be back in a few weeks or a month to help with equipment -- when he has a bigger group -- and begin helping him then. (We can segue that.)
....The NPC "bandit" I'm giving you is a minor noble, Manius Battori III. You can contact him in (probably) Westcrown as, recently you heard he was 'working on a new gambit' there. But his House in in the Chelaxian Capitol (if you don't find him in Westcrown).
So -- I presume you'll go to Westcrown to find Manius Battori III and get him to bring some basic supplies to Lamashtu's Egg in the Chitterwood in Isger.
Then decide where to go next.

@ Lady Eyota,
One cannot take 20 (or 10) on Knowledge checks. But with a +19 and +21, even if you roll a one, you still get all the info you really need -- the post in Gameplay for House Battori, naming Manius as an Inquisitor of Dispater, is the information one gets with your Knowledge Society (House Battori) and Knowledge Local (Manius' Race and Class Levels).
DM Ray
So,.... You guys are in Westcrown with Manius Battori, attempting to cut a deal with him to supply (and act as liaison to) Boss Ragshade so the Hobgoblin can build up his strength.
Then you are deciding where to go to next.
I'm looking forward to what you say / how you negotiate with the Pactborn Inquisitor. ....And then where you go next.
Lady Narkisssa Kekaku Eyota
My mistake that one GM, forgot she has not got Eidetic Recollection, as this build she is level 8 not 12, with it she can take 20 with a use of inspiration.
She can use +1d8 and roll d20x2 [take better] with Investigative Mind running [8 times] so all good.
=================
Also can we have a roll call of players, who is still here and playing please.

@ Lady Eyota,
It's been a long week for me and I guess my brain is a bit fried; if you could explain a few parts of Lady Eyota's proposal to Manius for me, here, it would help. Manius is smart enough to get the innuendo but I think much of it went over my head....
.
It has come to the attention of the powers that be....
Do you mean Queen Abrogail Thrune -- or 'The Snakes' perhaps?
.
At this moment yours and (their) interests are aligned.
House Battori and Thrune?....
.
Our empire needs to flex more in that area of influence.
Um, where?
.
I think I got the next part.
But.
We are here to hurry along that process of this project with our support and... talents. So why (don't) you tell us all about the thing that may OR may not change your family's standing with those that count.
.
You lost me again..
I can be dense sometimes; don't hold it against Manius Battori III.
NOTE: Feel free to reread the post about House Battori-- very small House but individually very elite -- and very in favor and loyal to House Thrune.
Lady Narkisssa Kekaku Eyota
Bit peeded off right now,
Look GM, to be honest I have no idea what is going on after what you just posted.
I know you think you told us the plot going on in your head, but you did not make things clear.
I posted because you posted the Family had a project,
1: So is this or is this not the right family,
2: A took "project" to mean they where after the same thing as us, is, now I have to ask. just what did you mean by project.
3: you said he know us by reputation so I took that to mean he knew who we represented as in the queen. Now your saying he dose not?
I waited days for a post and when it comes it LESS clear then the last ones. I really have no idea what we are doing now, I lose track as the weeks of slow posting have gone on.
Right now this game has stopped being fun for me.

Uh oh, sorry about confusing things; I didn't realize I had been ambiguous. Let me try to fix it; I'll start at the beginning.
A) You guys got a solid start in Isger, meeting Boss Ragshade and coming up with an idea to use him as a pawn (to make raids in Isger) so you could come in later and solve the problem. Because Boss Ragshade is not yet powerful enough to make aggressive forays against the Isgeri natives, you decided to get someone in Cheliax to start supplying Boss Ragshade with basic weapons & armor. Then move on to another target country with the idea of coming back to Isger later. (This was my impression; let me know if there is anything not right.)
B) I chose an NPC named Manius Battori III to be a contact in Cheliax you could use to be the guy who supplies Boss Ragshade with weapons and armor. I very quickly segued the journey from Isger to Westcrown and put you guys outside Manius' front door. I felt at your level you could have met Manius at some point in the past and knew of him -- and gave you information regarding him and his House based on your Skill rolls. (Again, this was my intent; let me know if it was at this point where I screwed up and if this gets us on the same page.)
C) I assumed you would now convince Manius to start supplying Boss Ragshade, maybe taking him into your confidence regarding your overall mission from House Thrune, so that while he (or his underlings) went to Isger to keep things rolling there with Boss Ragshade, you could move on to the next place to subvert. (Sorry I wasn't clear.)
D) Once you work out a deal with Manius to supply Boss Ragshade for a while (until you can return to Isger), you would decide where to go next-- either Diobel, Rahadoum, Mediogalti, Sargava or Nisroch.
....I guess when I said "project" I was trying to be clever-- innuendo and euphemism and guile and such -- and all I was doing was being ambiguous. I just wanted to get across that Manius had finished one job and was free to start another -- no current obligations.
DM Ray
I've got the 23 Diplomacy and the 25 Diplomacy (for Manius Battori III); I'm using those for now and will let you know if I need more.
.
.
.
.
Please note if any of these were NOT mentioned to Manius Battori:
1) Queen Abrogail sent you on this mission.
2) That there are five other places you're going, and which five places.
3) That Boss Ragshade is still small-time and is hoping to grow in power.
4) That you are planning to use Boss Ragshade and his Goblinoids to make raids in Isger and then make yourselves the heroes by defeating the Hobgoblin.
I assumed these in his reply.
DM Ray
With the Isger plan in motion, now you can decide where to go next.
Using a PFS-like XP-system, consider Isger's 'first stage' complete. You gain one of three XP points to level-up.
Please comment.
After you complete the first three of these 'first stage' forays to locations you will level to ninth. (Isger, your first, is just completed.)
After you finish the last three 'first stage' forays to locations you will level to 10th.
Going back to all six locations to check up on them and move things further forward will get you to eleventh level. (Like going from 'regular' PFS XP advancement-track to 'slow' PFS XP advancement-track.
....Then we'll see what the campaign is like and I'll decide what feels the most appropriate and fair way to continue to advance.
Who knows what the situations will be like then; I don't know yet if using a one-for-one or a three-for-one or a six-for-one "location/scenario -- to -- Level-up" will be best.
Did that make sense?
How much or little do you agree it sounds appropriate and fair?
But now you choose where to go next.
DM Ray
Sorry about such a long delay guys.
As you know from my last post I'm getting ready for PaizoCon and have been spending all my free time going through PaizoCon Threads, perusing and picking events for the con, preparing for the little bit of time in Vegas I'm enjoying the day before PaizoCon, and playing lots of PFS to get some PCs up to "fun" levels before PaizoCon.
I've put my three PbP campaigns all the way on the back burner.
I'm hoping to get a bit of a lull in PaizoCon preparation and post a bit here before I fly out west on vacation in two weeks. ....But with the PaizoCon 'special events' Lottery finishing today and 'open events' sign-up scheduled for tomorrow -- not to mention all the horse-trading that will go on once the lottery-picked events are announced -- I'm still on full PaizoCon prep mode.
Please, please don't forget about our campaign. I promise I'm coming back.
