I’d rather not surprise the thieves guild – better to send out a message saying we would like to speak to them, rather then barge in. I can only imagine how many daggers we’d get thrown at our back if we chose the latter option.

I agree, that's why I asked Lucius if he had a contact who could reach out to them for us, If nothing else let that person make the introductions.

Not sure if it's too early for fingerprint work, but the earliest use of it was in 1892.

I actually wanted to know if fingerprinting was possible before I started opening the book, that's why the lapse. If Fingerprinting is possible, I need to get gloves, else I'd be destroying the evidence.

Sorry, I don't think it is in use yet, I wasn't sure if you guys knew of a spell that duplicated that kind of effect. I haven't bought the last couple of books, Ultimate Intrigue and Ultimate Horror so wasn't sure if there was a spell in there.

Relic channeler medium could probably see who was the last owner, otherwise it'd be psychometry psychic unlock which none of us have, if you're talking about magical means.

I was wondering if mundane here they know about it yet.

Hey sorry for the delay in posting, seems like every chance I have to sit down and do post Paizo takes a crap and goes down. Its been pretty frustrating lately.

Yeah I don't think they quite had the sophistication yet to do fingerprinting, seems a little early for that sort of thing.

They didnt actually understand that people had unique fingerprints at that point. They probably could have got them off an object (with chalk or soot) but it wouldn't have helped them at all.

Forensic medicine/science doesn't exist at this point, certainyl not as we'd define it.

Ah OK. No issue is just one of those things you learn about forensics is not to destroy evidence, so you need to be very careful.

Also reason why I didn't sense motive is because you just put a wizard with a book =)

The colourspray starts from one south of me and the six blocks after that. I tried to draw from phone but it's just a waste of time.

So guys, I'm going to be joining the US military(Army) on January 2nd. I'll be shipping out for basic training and then my Advanced Individual training after that.

I'll be basically out of commision as a GM from January to almost June of 2018.

We have the option of continuing along and then taking a 6-month-ish break or . . . we call it now.

I hadn't totally planned on joining the Army when I started this adventure but ya know life changes.

The odds of us being able to just pick things back up where we left off are pretty slim, I know.

As they say in Dumb and Dumber though, "So You're telling me there's a chance?"

LOL, First of all, let me say congratulations on joining the army and thank you for your service.

If you would be up for it, since we have a couple of months, we could play this to a good spot to 'end chapter one.' Possibly turning our prisoner over to the guard captain and identifying or capturing a low level ring leader. I don't care you can make up the story, you've been doing good so far.

Then in a few months when your done with your training, (I'm assuming you'll finish basic and then more 'specialty training') You could PM us and we could start 'chapter two.'

Just a thought. suffice to say I don't mind waiting.

I guess my only real preference is when we stop, move the game to 'inactive' until were ready to go again. That way I don't keep clicking on it just to see if someone has posted and I missed it. Who are we kidding I still do that some with my 'inactive' games :-(

I..ah well. I can't honestly congratulate people on joining the army because I never had any interest in that direction. Yes, I am truly a bookworm in RL.

Elek's solution will work.

But just weigh whether you have the time or not after your basic military training and life stabilizes out. No pressure, RL before gaming.
