I shake out of my daze as we traveled along and look up at the guardsman. I take in what he's asking of me and dip into a low bow.

How may I be of service to you?

Belym asks Jericho, "Is Martan around? I'd like to try something."

Martan is the newly named stonemason in town. I'd like to try using Bender to fix the hole here with boulders, and maybe get a hireling-ish bonus from having a trained pro on hand. Mechanically, I'd like to get +1 hold from the move. Fictionally, he'd be guiding placement of whatever boulders I can conjure up, and or mortaring them in place.
And the supply roll once we're inside.

He goes patient to patient, and asks them, What did ye eat the day ye fell ill?

After hearing the answers he suggests no one else be allowed to consume food from the same source or drink from the same wells. I really need t' explore the farmlands t' see this blight. Maybe I can find something there t' save these men... but it be too dangerous t' go alone...

If I were t' explore these farmlands, where were the blights first reported?

When Ron speaks up for Sheridan, they're waist deep in their enormous pack, shuffling around for something. Too late, they wrench themselves free, producing a small brass plaque. I don't believe you can set up email updates. For a while I was using the Boxcar app with the RSS feeds (buttons in top right) but it stopped working. Generally, any RSS app should keep you relatively up to date if you set it up. Boxcar seemed to update the fastest.

No, no good news at all. But delaying us here won't do no good.

Ron points to Conwall. This one bled at my side as we cleared the border tower of demon worshipping cultists.

He points to Sheridan. I trust this one's papers are in order.

Finally he points at Kaspar. This one's an avowed cultist and demon lover that we be bringing to justice.

There's no time for this Sam! Braxos soldiers are camped nearby, cultists are growing in power nearby, ravagers are nearby, and this bloody gate won't do a lick of good. Ye say me militia be ill? I must see to that immediately. This way Kaspar.

You come in to find a charnel hall, blood and other, less familiar fluids lay on the flood, which bears stains of more fluids. Haven't been called the fair folk in a hundred summers. I'm not sure where the idea of the Seelie Court came from. Sometimes the diaspora likes to tell tales. I could teach you about our houses when time is less of the essence of you'd like. Narrowing the gate for a chokepoint seems reasonable; I'm pretty sure we established that there were at least 2 gates, so making one impassable to wagons/TAM will merely be inconvenient. If I'm wrong and there's only one, then I'd think we'd have to leave it clear. Belym can't do much to help with hanging a door, so she'll leave Martan to work that out with the smith.

Once Belym finishes up at the gate, she'll head out and catch up to the party (it shouldn't be hard to find the elf, the fish-man, and the giant mollusk by asking around.)

The traveler looks up from Tom and Faolin wrestling on the floor to see the chaos behind them. "Oh my, Looks like I misread the room, folks. Dan Driftwood, caretaker of curious creatures. I dare say if y'd free my hand I could show you my placard."

Dan looks about to see if he can figure out how he and his collection could be useful in this situation.

Belym, seeing the chaos and hearing part of the priest's statement, quickly bars the door behind her, then moves to cut off any other exits from the room. "Ron, let me know if you need help with anything."

First, Ron speaks to the two men holding Sheridan. Let go of her now!

To the priest, Poison?

Ron reaches into his pack with his off hand, pulls out a small vial, and hands it to the priest.

This be anti-toxin. Give it to one of the worst off. Belym, take Roach and go buy out the apothecary. We'll need as much as possible.

Ron finally turns back to Faolan. You be caught Faolan. Explain yourself, quickly.

" Right. I'll be back in a hurry.". Belym heads out, telling the militiaman closest to the door not to let anyone leave without Ron's approval.

How many victims could Belym see? Trying to buy at least that many antitoxins from the apothecary. Assuming that'll be another Supply roll...

Well, that'll show me to offer compassion.

I drive Catastrope into his back.

am I dealing damage or hacking and slashing?

Both the men tighten their grips, and one is about to strike you when Bucky calls them off. they let you go, and turn to Bucky saying "Sorry Ron, we didn't know She was with you. Who is this... Fish?". Meanwhile, what do you do?

Faolan turns his head to look at you. "Ron, I'm sorry, but the man came to me. he told me how many Braxan soldiers there were out there. He said that if I did this, They would let my family live. I couldn't risk Jenna and Sidney. I'm sorry" He says. What do you do?

"That many is gonna cost extra. It'll almost deplete our stock, so Henry and I will be up late making more for a fortnight, It'll run you 360 gold" The apothecary tells you when you tell him that you need two dozen antitoxins. Do you pay it (at a 1.5 markup)?

Neither, dude's bound and prone, he's just dead

Catastrophe runs through the cultist, creating a red streak on the ground. As you extricate the blade from the man's corpse (more blood everywhere as the barbs tear out flesh) Jericho calls out in horror [i]"What did that man do to deserve your blade. He was a prisoner, helpless!" She shouts as she and Sam bring their crossbows to face you. what do you do?

Seeing Ron's influence, Tom speaks to him, It seems there have been someone spreading blight in this area. Speaking with those around here they started in some nearby farms. I was planning on investigating those areas myself, but I could use some able bodied help. This stinks of evildoer' influence. pausing a bit and letting the armhole up some, I'm just glad I caught the love trouble first, I almost left this morning without inspecting the roast.

Sheridan scratches their cheak. "If yer folk are sufferin' from a poison, I may be of some assistance after all. I've got a little friend that might be able to clean out 'cher guttyworks..."

Slowly and carefully, they shrug of their pack and begin shuffling through the cages. They're looking for a Blood Urchin. Their sting will paralyze your limbs for a good minute, but the venom will clear out your blood and your stomach within the hour.

Keeper of Curios:
The DM may add one to four of the following:
• It is either consumable or faulty, and will only work once
• It was not intended to be used for this
• It will take a lot of time and effort to use properly
• It won't work unless you _____
• The curio's effects are incredibly specific
• You get something close to what you want, but not quite
• You'll need help from _____ to use it safely

Belym mutters about how it's appalling to be overcharged for the town's defense, but doesn't have time to argue. She'll pay the man and head back to the barracks as quickly as possible. She also warns them of the Braxan troops in the nearby woods, so it may not be safe to gather materials for the next few days.

Ron, assuming you're tracking Roach's load, that's 360 gold less.

They will work fine, but as you said, it will take about an hour (a seriously unpleasant hour), also, the urchin's cannot survive out if water enough, so you have to submerge a major vein or artery (I would suggest femoral, as it is the least likely to drown them). With these in mind, you may begin the preparation

You likely can't see it on account of all the blood but this man was attempting to summon an Asmodean off their blank stare A devil. He may not have carried a sword but he was far from helpless. Ask Ron what damage this man could have done with a few I'll placed words.

I give a shrug and slowly (as to not alarm the guards) I wipe the blade clean.

Sheridan retrieves the bowl where the urchins are being kept and looks around for a wash tub. "They pack a bite, but they'll clear you out in an hour. I'll understand if yer not all trippin' over yerselves to be the first volunteer. I 'cn show y'all how it's done an' take the first dose if it'll settle yer nerves."

The Traveler takes her time finding the best available tub or basin, and pours the waters in. She waits to see if anyone trusts a talking shark that wants to stick them with something.

"Be that as it may" Jericho calls out as Sam climbs down a ladder "I am afraid I must insist that You put down your weapons, and allow Sam to bind your hands, until this can be straightened out." Sam approaches you, with a short length of rope. What do you do?

One man stands up "You say this'll get all the poison out?" He says as he removes his trousers and climbs into the tim "Then let's get to it". How many of these do you have?

I've been tracking Roach's inventory and the inventory of my weapon stall in the Gear spoiler on my sheet. I've updated it for the 360 purchase.

Damn it Faolan, on yer feet. He gestures to the two that were holding Sheri. Bind Faolan please.

Now Faolan ... Tell me everything ye know about this man ye speak of. And tell me where be the rest of yer poison.

I pause for a minute, considering the possible outcomes. I'd rather thing not get more violent than they have to be. Still, this is ludicrous.

Jericho was it? I have no wish to impede your duties, and I fully understand your desire to get to the bottom of this killing that I in no way relish.

I look at Catastrophe longingly, like an cherished friend.

That being said, I'm afraid I simply can no more set Catastrophe on the ground or hand her to a stranger than one could a new hatchling. May I offer a compromise? I wish no further bloodshed. Allow me to place Catastrophe securely in her scabbard on my front and I'll allow you to bind my hands on my back where I cannot reach her.

Parley with placing the sword out of reach as the leverage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2) + 1 = 9

Sensing they'll need me to take the first move, I very slowly sheath my sword, slide it around my front, place my hands behind my back and turn around to give the guards access.

Faolan stands, and accepts his bonds with some measure of dignity. "The man approached me yesterday afternoon, he had a sword, and I'm a butcher, not a fighter. He overpowered me. He was tall, had short hair, and a young face. I don't know how he snuck into town, but with Garrin gone, the millia was a bit lax. he told me that a Braxan army was encamped nearby, and that Norwich was first on their list. He said I could save my family, all i had to do was add a powder to the rub I put on the garrison's meal. I was scared, scared for My wife and daughter. What would you have done."

"I put it on, and stowed most of it in my shop. I kept a little, to make sure the job was done. I'm sorry Ron He is nearly in tears by the end, because of guilt, or because he faces the noose you don't know. What do you do?

"Very well" She says, and Sam binds you securely. He helps you up the ladder, before going off to find Ron. Jericho pours herself a glass of wine (watered, of course), and offers you a sip, before settling back. "So, what brings an elf to Norwich?" She asks. What do you do?

I politely decline the wine.

In the course of my travels, I discovered that Norwich and surrounding villages were in grave danger. We raced here to warn you all. Again, my good friend Ron can vouch for me.

"Aye, and I've no doubt that I will be grateful of that, but why aren't you among the great houses? I have heard of the splendor of the elven lands, why would you leave?" Jericho asks. What do you do?
