Assuming Charis has a light cantrip in effect, turning around the corner, she notices the hallway stretches further than the dim light maximum she can see.
Several destroyed paintings, or the remaining frames thereof, decorate the wall.

Old Grog holds Charis by the shoulder, as with his darkvision he notices two small pipes sticking out near a fork in the road.

How will the team approach?
Old Grog |
Slurring his words, Grog cautions the party, "There be sommat there... Best shine a light on tha!"
He bends to see if there are any tracks but he notices his bottle of rum more than anything else and takes a snifter or three. Smacking his lips he mutters, "Ahhh! Just tah tonic fer wot ails ya!"

Charis uses a light cantrip on a rock and travels down the corridor.
"Hmmm? Thanks Grog. Let me see if I can... fix it."
She walks up to the pipes, searching for a trigger to disable.

Not sure I can beat that perception check either way. Was Charis able to see if there's any sort of trap? Did she see anything down the pipe?
Carlaya |
Carlaya pulls out a vial of alchemist's fire. "Stand back, Charis. Let's light this place up!" If no one objects, she throws it in the pipe.
And into World 1-2.
Renee le Rapide |
Keeping his distance, Renee squints his eyes and tries if he can make out what the pipes are.

No wider than one's wrist, btw. :)
Nothing happens after that.
Anticlimactic, wouldn't you say?
The Maiden of Jewels |
The vision of the pipes shooting at her wasn't needed, but it was nice to know no one was hurt.

Leaving the pipes behind, Charis scouts ahead.
The corridor is void of decorations, save long since rusted torch holders, of which none look different here.
From a 5ft wide, it widens to almost 10 feet, and the team finds themselves facing a large circular room, seemingly 40 feet in diameter.
Broken mosaic pieces lie scattered upon the floor, smashed from the 10 feet ceiling above.

Those with darkvision behind Charis, spot a marble circle straight ahead. Charis notices two more to her left and right.

Old Grog sees faint footsteps in the dusty floor, leading to all three marble circles.
Charis finds multiple layers of illusion magic in the room, coming from all circles.
I'll update later, as i'm off in 10.
Look forward to another surprise. ;)

Ok, let's continue.
Grog noticed vague footprints coming towards the middle, which then split off into all three directions.

The Abadar pieces themselves seem unaffected by the frosty spell.
However, the temperature seems to have a positive effect, the pieces don't give off dust, as they are working on Rags.
