The ACG of course.
Spirit's Gift
*holds breath*
Good to hear all is well though.
To think on it I feel that the Shaman feats in general are a little silly (Spirit Talker is another one that can get gross) and so is Evolved Companion for Pounce.

Vincent Marsh |

In other news... a little feat called Spirit’s Gift is officially in the astonishingly good category for anyone with an animal companion. I've taken it for now... but I'm a tad worried it's too good. (it is banned in PFS)
Essentially it can be changed each day, and you get to choose one of the following to apply to the animal companion:
+2 Inherent to Str; DR 5/Adamantium; +2 Init and +4 Stealth; Fast Healing 1... list goes on** spoiler omitted **...
wow, I thought he was joking about that feat. It does seem like it could be a bit broken, but maybe not depending on the game and PC/animal combination.
I think the DR 5 seems the most dicey, but a +2 to str or Init is kinda meh, like bless or bardic buffing. Fast healing? Hummmm at low levels might be pretty powerful.

I just can't win for losin'... I had the most awkward day, and it was one that really should have been awesome: went to see Jurassic World (it was fun) and then right back for a second round with Mad Max: Fury Road (just as awesome the second time around). But I somehow managed to have a kind of cruddy day anyway. :\
Anyhoo, I'll have a post up before I go to bed tonight. Hope everybody had a good weekend (or at least better than mine)!

Budd the C.H.U.D. |

Hmmm... Lessee. Let's try and have Niklos finished-finished by Friday. I'll try to figure out a good way to work him in in the meantime, because I don't want to make you wait until the party leaves Ravenmoor to introduce you (unless you'd rather do that). If you have any ideas on how to stumble into the proceedings, let me know!

Voyla Sloboda |

I think now is a great time for the other to get to know Voyla, and what she can do.

Voyla Sloboda |

Good luck!

I need to do a couple announcements.
---
I will be out this weekend at a great place so I won't be able to post much (or at all). I will be back on Sunday night. Please bot me if needed.

I participate in a "Gaming Community" I learned of on the Paizo Forums, and they are recruiting. So if you are interested, I recommend them fully. Here is their Recruitment post:
Greetings Gamers!
Woldiangames.com is excited to announce that we are starting a new ongoing game in our campaign world/gaming community! It is called Lakeview Passage. This game will take place in The Floating City, a 6 level city that floats in Turtle Lake. Surrounded by one of the seven magical forests, The Crying Woods, it is the epitome civilization surrounded by its polar opposite: a forest that hates all animal life and signs of civilization. The Big Float has been suffering lately with various difficulties in importing all the necessities of life for 70,000 citizens. Can an adventuring group from Lakeview Passage of the Fence Level make a difference for their neighborhood and even the city at large? Only time and adventure will tell.

The Wold is here to stay! We are not one of those games or sites that will disappear just as you are getting interested in the game and your character. So if you’ve been looking for that quality game that does not go away, we’re your site!
The Wold is a Fantasy Campaign World [using the Pathfinder gamesystem], that originated in the early 1980's. It went online in 1997 and it has evolved into a very large website with several hundred pages of campaign information.
We currently offer 8 permanent ongoing games and many other pickup games for those members who want more. Play by post occurs on our self-made java programmed message boards with their own dice mechanisms, and auto-archiving features. We offer a Message Board called The Giggling Ghost where our gamers can chat "in character" and head out for various “pick-up” adventurers. There is also a private board that allows the players to talk and discuss just about anything in an "out of character format." These boards helps us create that all important sense of community and friendship which is a part of any good group of gamers. Also added is a board called The Catacombs where all character shopping occurs and The Black Genie Center where all Woldians may go to help develop new original material for our campaign world.

Hope to see you there!

Long day of prep for an upcoming getaway. I'll get something up in the morning unless I can write up something before sleep takes me tonight.

Budd the C.H.U.D. |

No worries. I'll be playing in my girlfriend's campaign for most of tomorrow, so it might be evening before I can check in.
In the meantime: if you're getting a "John Carpenter" vibe from our piggy friend here, then hooray for you! You get a virtual cigar. The original cythnigot in the module is basically just an ugly pig with a venus flytrap coming out of its back, which I felt didn't do the creepiness of a qlippoth justice.

Voyla Sloboda |

Nice adaptation of the monster!

Calwen Snowpaw |

I just wanted to say that I am very sorry about the way I abandoned the team. This isn't usually my style; I was at some point so fed up with forum games that I could not bring myself to log in anymore. Not even to the one game that was running well.
I wish you have fun and bring down the evil that haunts Ravenmoor.

Budd the C.H.U.D. |

Hm-hm, so intense! This is the best part of GMing- just getting to sit back and let the players go at it for a bit.
Keep up the good RP, folks!
By the way, you'll probably be reaching level 4 before long. Considering the state of things in Ravenmoor right now, you might need it.

I'm out in the boondocks this weekend with little coverage. I should be able to catch up on Monday.

Sebastian Bacarov |

So long as the post had us arriving with torches and pitch forks, it'll be worth the wait, 'natch.

Sebastian Bacarov |

I'm tellin' ya, Budd, Write it up in a word processor then cut and paste it. Paizo lulls you into a false sense of security... "Oh aye, I'll let ya write up yer post there, laddie. Sure, sure...ya can trust me...go ahead n' hit submit. Aye, tha's the way, laddie. Oops! A wee bit o' hiccup? Don' worry, hit the back button...oh no, laddie! It dinnah work for ye either?"
Yeah. It's a lot like that...

Budd the C.H.U.D. |

I'm so sorry, man, I got myself so busy at work and with these dumb holiday trips over the last couple weeks that I haven't even had much thought as to how to introduce you into the campaign. Any ideas for what Niklos could be up to currently, anybody? I mean, with a dancing bear, he'd be the life of the town festival, but I'd be asking you all to swallow yet another out-of-towner happening to be in isolated Ravenmoor at the same time who also finds cause to meet up with you guys... o'course, if nobody minds that, I could have Niklos at the Festival right now, observing the crowning of the Queen of the Festival...
I feel like I've been kinda dropping the ball with PbP lately. Blame it on the aforementioned constant work and traveling. That said... I happen to have the next three days off with no obligations on any of them! During that time, let's get this sucker crackin' again, get Niklos introduced if possible, and barrel forward toward the climax of this module! [braveheartvoice]Who's with me?![/braveheartvoice]

Voyla Sloboda |

I am!
I would say you let him in as soon and as simple as possible. He arrived to the festival late, and he is ready for action, and that's it!

Niklos Bogdan |

In other news - starting tomorrow at roughly lunchtime my time I'll be taking a four day holiday. A quick vacation across to P%%#et... or for the benefit of Paizo's confusing wordfiltery boards Pooket.
I'll have my tablet and keyboard with me - so should still manage to keep up with things as they go, but if I'm a bit tardy that'd be the reason why.

Senor Budd: Will the wand of lesser restoration cure the stirge damage to our CON?

![]() |

Hi! turns out I am trying to get a Ultimate Intrigue's Vigilante playtest, and to start it up I am missing a player doing a Zealot Vigilante.
If you feel like it, you can check the recruitment thread at Corsario's The Birth of Taldan's Defenders. Thanks

Guys. I have very interesting news! Warshawski (JGray) messaged me last night and is interested in rejoining the game! Considering that Warshawski was one of my favorite characters, I'm pretty excited.
I realize that this means the group has grown pretty large, with Voyla a newcomer and Niklos having only just made his first appearance to the rest of the group- or, at least, his bear has- but I'm absolutely thrilled that Warshawski will be returning, and I can handle the burden of a large party... trust me. ;)
Any objections to letting a longtime companion rejoin the team?
Also, next round summary will go up in just a bit.
