I'd say the big difference is this thing's solely populated by Corpse Fleet personnel, whereas Absalom Station's population is largely civilian. People don't LIVE on the Empire of Bones, both figuratively and literally. They may dock/bunk here and work towards the Corpse Fleet's nefarious goals, but it's probably not comfortable or hospitable. NO FUN, ONLY PURSUIT OF GLORIOUS UNDEAD FUTURE!

Interestingly, Absalom Station is really small all things considered. Only 5 miles across, putting it at far far smaller than most inhabited stellar objects.
Also interesting trivia from the book regarding the Empire of Bones: Only a few Blackwind Annihilators exist, and their origins are lost in the Gap. These mighty ultranoughts were already in orbit around Eox, fully armed and operational, when the first bone sages realized they had no memories of their previous centuries. The Cruel Perdition participated in the Magefire Assault; the damage it sustained from Absalom Station’s defenders took several decades to repair, but it is now back online. Heart’s Decay was lost during one of the major early battles in the war between the Pact Worlds and the Veskarium. Shortly after Eox signed the Absalom Pact, the then-captain of the Empire of Bones mutinied against his admiral, taking the vessel and most of its support ships to form the rebellious Corpse Fleet. In the years since then, Blackwind Engineering began construction on a new Annihilator, but has since left the vessel unfinished in its shipyards due to a lack of potential buyers.
So not only does the Corpse Fleet have its own Absalom Station, but so do the "sorta-allies-of-convenience-but-maybe-just-biding-their-time" Bone Sages on Eox. Some of the other books point out that the other major factions have their own equivalently powerful starships. I'm particularly partial to the Driftmaven - a massive transforming space station controlled by followers of Triune.

I was thinking of having Ted try to Grease the interior cockpit of the fighter. It didn't seem from the spell's description that it was a thrown ball of grease, so I'm not sure on the ruling of the ability for that spell to be used through the "transparent reinforced dome" of the cockpit?

I am going to be :gasp: away from the internet for most the rest of the week so please bot as needed. When the pink commando is down (or as the battle dictates), I was planning on using a couple (one 3rd level slot left and 1 spell cache left) Mental Block spells on the red and blue Baykoks.
MENTAL BLOCK T3
School enchantment (mind-affecting)
Casting Time 1 standard action
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Targets up to one creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart
Duration 1 round/level
Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes
You cause targets of this spell to lose access to their procedural memory, preventing them from using any feat, extraordinary ability, spell, spell-like ability, or supernatural ability that requires an action of any kind. Each round at the end a target’s turn, that target can attempt another Will save to end this effect.

Addendum: Ted can also go invisible (can just do normal invisible (not greater)) and deliver a medkit to Spec to stabilize him when he goes down...
If we survive this, we may be primed for a long rest?

We only get one rest; that we know of, so we really need to wait until the right moment.
In general I am fine with letting the casters decide when that should be.

I *thought* that jetpacks were standard actions and then I looked on archives of nethys and it doesn't mention it at all? Just says it gives a fly speed, and that what costs a standard action is going from normal flight to cruising flight.

@Isu: The generic "activate an item" rules say 'Unless otherwise notes, activating an item is a standard action'. So it defaults to standard action.
@Arc: Not sure what you mean. If you DO have a fly speed that isn't from defy gravity, then you can definitely charge through the air. But defy gravity is a specific move action and you fall immediately after using it, so you can't combine it with a charge.

Earlier I suggested go to the missile tubes and causing a distraction, maybe blowing them all up, right Ted?
And then with the distraction in place, sneaking off to the bridge.
Maybe we should ride the car to the missile tubes and do the long rest before blowing them. How are the casters doing? Need your spells? It has been... a lot of battles.

I've leveled up. I got soldier's onslaught, a new gear boost which I got a +1 KAC from, and we all get a theme benefit and another RP.
Gear is what is holding Isu back, and us all, I think. We haven't been able to sell/buy anything since the end of book 4 I think. Everyone should look carefully at the loot list to see if there is anything you missed to make yourself better.

            Level 12:
Class Taken: Solarian
Class Feature Gained: Stellar Revelation (Soul Furnace)
Hit Points: 7
Stamina Points: 7+0
Skill Ranks (5): Athletics (1), Culture (1), Diplomacy (1), Mysticism (1), Perception (1), Stealth (1)

The gear limitations do make things a little trickier, but when I went through this as a player, our group had even worse gear than this one and made it through. Definitely keep searching places and foes you defeat for gear upgrades, and you'll be in fine shape.

I can't stealth either; we as a party can't really try stealth and get away with it. Too bad there isn't Follow a Leader in this version like in 2e.
But what is the other option? This whole spaceship feels like a stealth mission we aren't equipped for.
We (meaning Arc) could also possibly lie and get them to come to us, perhaps.
What else? We are good in computers and engineering. How can that be used here in thinking outside the box. Hack cameras? Sound an alarm somewhere else to create a distraction? Those are a couple of ideas that play to our strengths.
