Ok so I am doing a Hombrew campaign. Here are the character creation rules.

1)Standard 4d6 drop the lowest. If you score up to 3 stats below 10, you may reroll those 3 only.
2)2 traits are allowed
3)1st level with max starting gold.
4)I prefer Core races and classes, but if you want to try something else, I won't turn you down.

I would like players willing to post at least once a day on the weekdays, and once over the weekends.

Any details on the world, or the style of game you are planning on running?

Game details are up under Campaign Info now.

Thinking of going barbarian. Still have to read through campaign info though.

I read through the campaign info, and am thinking of playing a human Barbarian from the tribes of Korsko. Where does the campaign begin? And is there some event that will draw all of the characters together at the beginning? I am working on creating my backstory and build and want to make it fit with the campaign.

4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 3) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 5) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 2, 3) = 15

2) I would like to see at least some low end kinds of Traveling equipment.

3) I would like to have his languages listed.

4) Also list his HP.

I don't see anything else as of right now.

xenoz:

The world information is listed under Campaign Info. What in paticular are you looking for regarding this world?

Regarding your character
1)Please post his equipment
2) Deity he serves? (For Indomitable Faith)

Otherwise, casually looking him over he looks good.

xenoz:

Sorry! Also alignment?

Silver Crusade

How are you doing the HPs? max at 1? or roll?

HP is maxed at first level, as per normal rules.

Fnord - The information about the game is under Campaign Info. Is there anything in paticular you wanted to know?

Silver Crusade

Any house rules?

Kip84's Human Wizard Submission. Backstory is coming.

Sounds interesting heres hoping for some luck

Yeah I can work with that. ;)

dm:
I have an idea for a dwarven fighter with this set up TWF with shield. He would be the son of a dwarven noble who sets out to right the wrongs with the corruption for the benifit of clan and to get a few treasures him self ( just like any good dwarf) My question is given this back ground can I select the rich parents trait, it sets my starting gold to 900 gp

I read through the campaign page, it's just global information, a primer. No information on what type of game, where the game is kicking off, etc.

Lostsoul - No houserules

Fnord - Ahhhh. I see. The Campaign starts with the PCs contracted to protect a Merchant Caravan as it heads out from the small city of Ri A Ko(Western Druin). The final destination will be the Holy Land, but the merchant plans to make several stops in the Steel Legion controlled portion of the Wild-lands.

Malwyn - Reviewing now.

Malwyn:

I see no errors, just missing a backstory in the profile.

Jacetms87:

I'd allow it, but make sure you have a good backstory to gow ith it.
Most Dwarven Nobles or of Korsko, and are very loathe to leave what they see as their duty to keep the Corruption at bay

he worships Cosic, the god of spies, which is why he was shunned growing up in a barbaric village centered on war. he is Chaotic Neutral seeking to gain his own standing in the world. I have read through the campaign info, what I am wondering is: are there some story points that will bring the PC's together at the beginning and where does the adventure begin?

Oh yea and gear:
Greatsword, Shortbow, 20 arrows, scale mail, Backpack, bedroll, winter blanket, caltrops, chain, crowbar, flint and steal, grappling hook, hammer and 11 GP left over

xenoz:

Ok,The Campaign starts with the PCs contracted to protect a Merchant Caravan as it heads out from the small city of Ri A Ko(Western Druin). The final destination will be the Holy Land, but the merchant plans to make several stops in the Steel Legion controlled portion of the Wild-lands. You can have whatever reason you want for being there. Everything else looks good for him.

Okay backstory: Krular was born in a small barbarian village in what is known as Korsko. He was raised to worship Kalwor, but when he encountered a passing merchant caravan the reality that the world stretched beyond the bounds of his home valley set in. He set it upon himself to explore and learn more about his surroundings, which was shunned by the village elders. He took to worshiping Cosic to help him secretly discover information. One day, however, he was caught with a rudimentary tome of histories of the lands. This was the final straw in a series of misgivings and the village kicked him out. he began wandering the world, using his strength to get jobs as a guard wherever he could. he still tries to learn as much as he can, but his low intelligence makes it hard for him to retain much. He is currently in Ri A Ko looking for work.

Xenoz - Good to go then.

Thinking Wizard, or Archivest if you will allow it?

Born to a Merchant family: has spent most of his life on the Road/Sea has a great love for books alignment: Neutral, to Neutral Evil (amoral depending on view)

We'll see what the dice bring me this time...

4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 1) = 11=10
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 3) = 16=13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 5) = 17=14
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 4) = 14=12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 2, 5) = 14=12
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3, 3) = 14=11

Are you open to custom races from the ARG? With like a 10 RP limit? What about the soulknife class? Yes, it's psionic, but it doesn't manifest any powers. The rules are pretty straightforward for it.

back story :
Gorn is the son of a, dwarven noble in the land korsko. He has grown knowing it is his duty above all else to protect his clan, and kingdom from the corruption spreading across the land. He has trained all of his life to fight the approaching darkness. He is also a very devout follower of torag, having conversations with the preists frequently. One day as he was walking about the city he stopped to converse with his old friend rogar as he prepared to join another caravan, rogar had told him stores of the battles and adventures he had experience don the road and Gorn longed for the adventure. He went to his father, to speak with him about such an endevour. he told his father he wanted to prove himself and to learn by battle instead of the training yard, and see the world, perhaps even find a mine to expand the clans holdings. After much yelling on both sides followed by more than one mug of ale for each. Gorn would not be denied and he was to be off on a caraven departing soon. That was several months ago. With the original caravan done he is thinking to do the same with another in durin.

Is this sufficent?

Can you pm me your email, so I may send you a chracter sheet with crunch.

jacetms87:
I'll allow it.

Jelani:
I prefer core for race and class, but If you have a good concept, go for it, and I will look it over.

Lost Soul:

Either or. Psot up your character sheet with a good backstory. I don't mind if he's neutral evil, the party may not get along, but they will all be invested in seeing this campaign through to the end.

Silver Crusade

messaged you..

Lem Manayd, reporting for duty. Some details still missing, but enough here to show intent, so you can measure fit with your intentions. I'll get skills, backstory, and gear done soon, but thought I ought to get this posted.

Lem:

Oh I had a really good laugh reading the end there. Just let me know when the rest of his information is posted.

Dotting here.. Lets see what we get.

4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 6) = 19
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 2) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 6) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 5) = 14
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2, 4) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 3) = 16

so 17,12,16,13,8,14
hmm I'd say fairly well balanced (if not a bit powerful..

Leo Gardsin:
(Goes by Gardsin.. Fathers name)
Fleshing him out real quick. I'm thinking of a half-orc Ranger. Originally from New Thaok of course, his father (yes... his father was the human..) sought refuge in a nearby kingdom with the child. Of course it grew difficult with the way civilians looked at the child, due to the.. orc history that may reside within him. Taking to the savage wastes (I didn't see info about that in campaign info, care to enlighten me? It may help me pick a favored enemy) There Gardsin taught Leo to survive. Hunting for his own food when he got old enough. Gardsin would go into towns every now and then keeping Leo in a safe hole just outside the borders in hopes he wasn't found by some random beast as he gathered and sold supplies. Gardsin had decided it was best to keep Leo from the societies around only inviting him to go on the trips into town every now and then.
Leo was getting older by now a good half foot taller than his own father. Once again it was time to make a trip into town, Gardsin wanted to go alone today so Leo stayed at their makeshift camp. Minutes turned into hours, hours into days. Leo began to get nervous, rarely his father stayed intown more than a day at a time. Getting brave he gathered his things and traveled to the gates of the city only to be greeted with a bit of hostility, he managed to persuade the guards to hold his equipment and let him inside. From there he searched but found nothing. Towering over most of the people they shuffled away from him. Most would not talk to Leo, providing him with almost no detail about his father.
Leaving the city gathering his equipment from the guards only to find some belongings missing (thinking it be better to not say anything) He stayed posted around the city trying to gather information to no avail, eventually deciding to search out past places.
Nearly two years had passed now his search was still on, he had not gotten much clue and refused to give up (part of his orc stubborness). the only conclusion he's come to is that the 'corruption' has something to do with this.
(also don't know how common half orcs might be in this world, if they are common then we can assume he and his father had a run of bad luck most of the time, running into a bit more of the racist society)

You know what, I'm gonna take that reroll for the 9... 4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 6) = 18=18. Gee, kinda TOO good. LOL.

Dotting for interest and rolls. :D

Trup:
If you'll allow me to bend the rules a bit, I'm feeling rather daring. 3d6 straight.
STR: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 6) = 14
DEX: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 4) = 15
CON: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2) = 7

WIS: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6) = 12
CHA: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) = 8

If not I'll take the rolls outside. Not that their much better.

4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 6) = 14 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 2) = 9 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 4) = 14 = 11

4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 4, 2) = 15 = 13
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 6) = 17 = 15

Re-Rolls
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 5) = 20 = 17 (Can I keep the 20? ;))
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 2) = 8 = 7

EDIT: Are you allowing Archetypes?

Working on the stats. I'll have them and her back story up later. Needless to say, she's not going to be the most civilized of people. ;)

Maveith:
Oh yes, racism is alive and well against orcs and half-orcs. Half orcs carry at least a portion of the curse in their blood and are treated with just as much fear and contempt as orcs in most cases.

AdamWarnock:
Yes Archtypes are allowed.

Ice Eyes:
I will be reviewing your chracter in full tommorrow morning if not tonight.

Lem:
Haha, take what you can get. I'm glad someone used the re-roll rule. I think you made others feel comfortable about using it.

I think I've got too much on my plate at the moment. I've already spent three hours updating threads this morning and I still have like 10 tabs open. I'm gonna pass on this one, looks like there's plenty of interest. Good luck guys!
