Conjuration Specialist :

Conjuration School The conjurer focuses on the study of summoning monsters and magic alike to bend to his will.

Summoner's Charm (Su): Whenever you cast a conjuration (summoning) spell, increase the duration by a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum 1). At 20th level, you can change the duration of all summon monster spells to permanent. You can have no more than one summon monster spell made permanent in this way at one time. If you designate another summon monster spell as permanent, the previous spell immediately ends.

Acid Dart (Sp): As a standard action you can unleash an acid dart targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. The acid dart deals 1d6 points of acid damage + 1 for every two wizard levels you possess. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier. This attack ignores spell resistance.

Dimensional Steps (Sp): At 8th level, you can use this ability to teleport up to 30 feet per wizard level per day as a standard action. This teleportation must be used in 5-foot increments and such movement does not provoke an attack of opportunity. You can bring other willing creatures with you, but you must expend an equal amount of distance for each additional creature brought with you.

Familiar

Speaks Common

The master of a raven familiar gains a +3 bonus on Appraise checks.

Alertness (Ex): While a familiar is within arm's reach, the master gains the Alertness feat.

Improved Evasion (Ex): When subjected to an attack that normally allows a Ref lex saving throw for half damage, a familiar takes no damage if it makes a successful saving throw and half damage even if the saving throw fails. Share Spells: The wizard may cast a spell with a target of “You” on his familiar (as a touch spell) instead of on himself. A wizard may cast spells on his familiar even if the spells do not normally affect creatures of the familiar's type (magical beast).

Empathic Link (Su): The master has an empathic link with his familiar to a 1 mile distance. The master can communicate emphatically with the familiar, but cannot see through its eyes. Because of the link's limited nature, only general emotions can be shared. The master has the same connection to an item or place that his familiar does.


Backstory:
Malwyn was an orphan, a child on the streets until he was found by the Dwarven Wizard Rurik Uthgart.  Rurik took him from the streets when he was a meer toddler planing to use him for experiments. However the young boy showed intelligence and an aptitude for magic. That was enough to change Ruriks mind, he kept Malwyn as an apprentice and slave amongst other things. 

Malwyn was basically imprisoned inside Ruriks apartments till the age of 17. His duties mostly horrid and degrading. The only thing he enjoyed was studying his cantrips and anything else Rurik would teach him. His only friend was Szarka a raven that Rurik had trapped and Given to Malwyn telling him to "bend the bird to your will".

At the age of 17 Malwyn was finally allowed out and it was then that he began to learn the vicious politics of Urdania. Rurik forced Malwyn to assist with the dwarfs aspirations to join the council. It involved many things such as adding poison to rivals salt so they would kill themselves slowly over weeks or swapping out magic staffs for cursed doubles so that Rurik was sure to win a duel. It took many years and lots of duplicity for Rurik to crawl his way up the political ladder. 

Malwyn was 24 and had mastered quite a few proper spells and Rurik was almost on the council. His next target was the Elven archmage Elios. Rurik had decided that simply killing the elf was not a prestigious enough entrance to the council, he wanted to humiliate Elios by making him step down voluntarily. The plan was to kidnap his daughter and hold her as a ransom. Malwyn's part was simply to distract Elios's household with a bevy of gifts from his master designed to make them believe that Rurik was trying to gain an ally on the council and for that he was glad. Rurik had decided to do the dirty work himself as breaking into the child's room needed stronger magic than Malwyn could wield even with a scroll from his master. 

The plan went off without a hitch and while Malwyn explaining his masters need of an ally and showering Elios with gifts in front of his household Rurik was upstairs taking down magical defences and stealing away with the child. The next evening the ransom note was sent the orders for Elios to step down and nominate Rurik as his successor but Rurik had underestimated the Elfs power. Through powerful divination Elios discovered the tower in which his daughter was imprisoned and was quick to come to her rescue. 

Malwyn was upstairs watching over the child when he heard the bottom floors door blow in and splinter with incredible force. Running down the stairs he saw his master embroiled in a spell battle that was ripping the lower floor apart. The dark and terrible form of Elios was outlined in the destroyed doorway. No spell that Rurik cast could touch him and Malwyn saw that his master had met his match. and good riddance. Malwyn retreated up the stairs finally free to make his escape without the threat of Rurik tracking him down. He still remembered the first and last time he had tried to run away as a child. It hadn't taken Rurik long to track him down and Malwyn had spent years trying to forget the weeks that had followed. 

He wished the Elven girl well and grabbing a scroll of feather fall he unlocked Szarka's cage and jumped from the window realising that he had never even asked the girls name, just another pawn in his masters lust for power. He floated to the ground silently thanking Amon that he had managed the scroll. When his feet hit the ground he was quickly away into the the fading light. Time to lay low for awhile I think, don't want to attract the councils attention for some time. Maybe I'd better leave Urdania till I've grown in power and my name is no longer associated with Ruriks? Malwyn thought as he escaped into the night.
