Naia - OD's on some Drow drugs and passes out hard.
Rameth - Charges forward, another knife springing into his hand and then just as quickly into the neck of another Drow, dealing 7 damage and dropping it to the group, bleeding and dying.
Namon - Casts cause fear on another Drow, but having seen this trick contribute to the deaths of his comrades, this drow manages to shake off the fearful effects Namon attempts to instill in his mind.
Ealasaid - Nimbly steps over Buffy's sleeping, nubile form and charges toward's the chatty drow. Flail raised on eye, she brings all her Elven rage into a furious blow against her enemy! But... the drow manages to evade.
Quartle - Lunges with his longspear but doesn't connect.
Roland - Seeing trouble behind them, he rushes over to aid his allies.
Drow - The drow in front of Ealasaid drops its hand crossbow andin one fluid motion pulls out its rapier and lunges at the elf.
The other drow loads another bolt and fires at Rameth!
Even though he is exposed from his attack, Rameth's shield once again protects him from the missile.
Ealasaid is not so lucky, and she takes the rapier point in her side, causing her 6 damage!

Naia - the slayer slumbers soundly and dreams of daring, deep, and dark poetry.
Rameth - continues to be a total badass and annihilates yet another drow.
Namon - invokes the power of the eighth and casts ray of frost, but his spell fizzles out and he misses.
Ealasaid - Swings her flail with enough force to decapitate a grizzly bear, but her string of bad luck continues and she misses once more.
Quartle - stabs again with his longspear, ninja turtle style!

WTF - Slayers don't have proficiency with every weapon ever created? Stoopid...So does this Slayer have the capability of shooting a hand crossbow?
"Gaaah. Bppplph. Thah. Gaaaah." Naia raises herself to a sitting position and after spitting vociferously thanks Rameth for taking the time to wake her. She takes a few moments to gather her wits before rising. She reslings her greatsword at her back, then slips her shortsword from its sheath and moves about methodically sticking each of the drow in the neck to ensure they are... slain.
Having finished her very professional task she gathers the poison ichor pots into a pile.
"I want this stuff. It's very, very... good. As for the breastplate, well Ealasaid, I said nothing when you took the masterwork scimitar without asking if anyone else wanted it. And I'll not take the breastplate. It's easily more your style. But next time we find something magical I can use [here pulls out shortspear from dead drow for theatrical effect with "schglup-like" sound for effect before stowing it on her back] I'd sure be appreciative."

Yeah, I think being a half rogue/ranger, the slayer should totally be proficient with hand crossbows.
It has been approximately 1.5 hours since you entered the ruins, making it around 5:00 PM. Hypothetically, you could all head back to town before it was too late. That is, assuming the goblins are fine with you leaving without their treasure.

Yes she is, althought if she get healed with the wand she would propose to continue.

Quartle has used his only CLW spell and his enlarge person spell. He still has a bless left, but that's it...and when he gets to rest, he gets new spells to choose from due to the shaman changes. I'm good either way though, I can use the bless next fight and keep sticking things with the spear.
"I agree that we should not leave the ruin yet, but I can renew my spells when we have time to rest."

Now that we have a CLW wand, I am less concerned about resting just yet. I also agree we should stay in the citadel.

Looks like we are continuing.
Naia senses the consensus, and quickly draws a blud-map on the corridor floor, occasionally refilling the point of her blade with fresh drow-ink.
"On the one hand, for the sake of completion and to make sure there are no dangers behind us, we should scout out the southwestern door in the round chamber Roland and Namon waited for the drow in, then return to the "ghost whimperer in the bedroll/broken cage" room and go from there.
On the other hand, we can ignore that unexplored region and press on toward the drow's likely command center..."

If we move a little further in we can leave the evidence behind us - my only concern is that the ghost whimperer room holds too many points of entry. Darque would suggest barricading it to prevent ingress from further in the citadel.
Otherwise, if we start exploring from it, it might be tricky to suss out all its successive, adjoining passageways, especially as we are not at full power.

We can move on and do another fight, level then rest, since it looks like most want to do that. Lets scout forward
