You all make it back to the water chamber and are able to barricade the door and set up a makeshift camp and set up some best traps in the hall. The water in the chamber is pure and clear and very refreshing.
Four hours into your rest, there is a banging on the door to the water room and much yelling in under common.

DajellyMan |

yeah it edits me too ;p
The banging stops but there are certainly footsteps outside. After a moment, the banging resumes much more severely. It would appear someone is trying to break in. Maybe they're really thirsty. Or maybe they wonder why a water elemental exited this room and then closed and locked the door behind it. And attacked them and left tracks.

Darque Naia |

Naia revels in the chaos, her blood rising and adrenaline coursing through her veins. As the sounds and her nudging rouse her companions she crows:
"Rise and shine my pretties. Seems like the gang's all here and they want to drink. Our blood! Rise!"
Any chance to fire a hand crossbow under the door a drow feet? ;)

DajellyMan |

The gap under the door is paper thin. But it is a thick stone door. There is a lock in it (that you guys picked to get in originally). After a while the people outside begin to realize it is futile to try and smash in. Some cursing in under common ensues. Moments later you here the scraping of lock picks.

Darque Naia |

"They're coming through!"
Suddenly a blob of fourth-wall energy envelops Naia and she pierces the veil, albeit minutely. Frozen in stasis she waits for the rest of the party to wake the f€ck up...

![]() |

Suddenly awaken by the lack of noise coming from Naia, realizing that something must be wrong.
"Everyone awake, some fell magics have struck Naia silent!"
Roland rises to ascertain the situation.

Darque Naia |

Naia resheathes her blades - remembering the torpor-bite of drow poison, Naia positions herself behind the barrels, longbow with arrow drawn aimed at the doorway...
"Ready!" she hisses.

Rameth the Delver |

Actually you have a 5% chance without poison use naia. Rameth has poison use so after the fight he can do it for you if you are worried...though the Drow are immune aren't they?

After a few more frantic moments, the scraping stops and the lock clicks, indicating it has unlocked. A loud bang crashes against the door, once, twice, and then on the third crash the stone doors swing open! A small party of 5 drow stand in the hallway, reaching for their weapons. They were sent out to look for a raiding party that never came back after investigating the elemental... it seems they found that party, and the cause of death...

Rameth the Delver |

i will be able to understand him in the morning with my magics, but I need to rest

DajellyMan |

The escaping drow successfully manages to get away! The other drow is easily tied up and you can all get another 4 hours of sleep (let's say you got a full 8 hours rest).
The night continues without any further interruption, though you all suspect you had better get a move on before any more scouting parties come looking.

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth retrieves and reshape a his daggers
He prepares a shield and a conp languages
I can understand our captive but not speak to him
Xp?

Rameth the Delver |

Once the interrogation is set Rameth takes the comp languages extract and will translate

![]() |

"Foul creature of evil, I do not know if you can understand me or not, but my moral compass does not allow me to condone the practice of torture to interrogate a prisoner in my presence. As such, I pity you for what is about to happen, and I would recommend you speak the truth quickly." While he spoke he points out the others preparing for the interrogation, the sharpening of blades, the other dead drow, and his bound limbs.
Roland shakes his head in sorrow as he walks out of the room and closes the door.

The creature scowls as he watches the blades being sharpened, but remains quiet until Roland speaks, apparently hitting a final nerve.
In Undercommon:
"I do not know what you wish of me, you meddling fools! You wish to know what we are doing so close to the surface? Well... you must know we have long controlled the Underdark. We have recently found a few of our numerous tunnels lead up into these ancient ruins... and surely you know the tales of this place. Much power is still held here and many dark secrets and treasures... the perfect place for our fleshwarpers to... experiment. Hehe, soon you will all realize what this entails. You would be foolish to think we are not now aware of you all. I would best run far away, before you yourselves fall victim to the priestesses' cruel whims. Now! Do what you will with me, nothing you can do will even come close to the punishment I will have waiting for me."
After that, he falls silent and closes his eyes.
